You'll have no trouble with power.  I have a pair of Sapphire 7950's running now, I use CGM, undervolt, slight OC.  Fans at 70% gpu runs 70C and vrm's about 8C higher.  The Vaper-X cooling seems to be good for 3-5C vs other 7950's I have used.  I have a Thermaltake 850 psu, running a OC'd 8350 under water.

You're fine running 800 watts for 2 7950s and your setup as long as you're not running in a very hot environment (90+ F).

I was able to run 2 7950s when BTC mining in an undervolted state on a I5-2500k with an Antec Earthwatts 500  Cheesy

16x, 1x, doesnt matter as far as mining speed or power goes.

I know. But will I get full hashing power while running a x16 card in x1 slot?
Yes, bitcoin mining uses very little pcie bandwidth.

Are you sure about that?

Yes.

My motherboard is Gigabyte G31:

www.bd.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3135#ov

My motherboard has 1 PCI Express x16 slot and 1 PCI Express x1 slot.I will put 1 card in X16 slot and thinking of putting the second one in X1 slot through a pci riser extension cable.

I am worried if I put it in X1 slot will I get full hashing power of the card?Need help from people who tried it and knows about this properly.
