yes linux distros like ethos or simple mining os
give it a try if you like them
trial is free and you just need a pen drive
you can do it without even tampering your windows installation
just unplug ssd hdd
and plug in linux distro pen drive

Hey all,

Yet another problem with my rig. It's a hardware issue, so here's the info:
AsRock 110+ BTC, 10 x RX580s, Blockchain drivers.

8 GPUs, everything works fine. When I plug in the 9th GPU, windows crashes pretty much on startup. I've looked and looked online, and the best I've seen in order to solve this is something posted on 1stminingrig where old crimson drivers are kinda mixed with new ones, but this seems to remove the limit above 6. Anyone know if this is still a solution or is there some other way to have more than 8 GPUs?

Since you have all the same cards, I'd go ahead and use Ubuntu or another linux distribution. I've never had problems specific to having more than 8 cards when using Ubuntu.

People have succeeded with >8 AMD GPUs on Windows 10, but it's usually quite a pain to get running.

Why do you create such a large installation? The price difference between installation with a large number of rigs and little rigs in favor of the price of the plants with a small amount of the GPU. You risk all of your 8 or more, the GPU will stop. When you use little installation in case of problems you will stop at a fewer number of towers and you'll have less losses.
