There is no better or worse time for investing. It all depends on your own investing strategy mate.
And if you say this is the best time to buy Bitcoin, It is. I would say maybe DCA for the next several months.
That will be the best strategy as compared to directly investing all your money at once.

You cannot really recognize or expect wherein the bottom is, however, I agree with that Bitcoin will crash even in addition the subsequent days. I don't have the budget to purchase now, nor the endurance to await a capability recuperation in the remote destiny. Don't be amazed if it hits $15.000 in the approaching forty eight hours, do not rush too much to make purchases now, there may be a high opportunity that you may gain a way lower price. I think after a huge low , It will go up very soon, lets hope for the best

Bitcoin is expected to rise upto $28K by the end of this year. This statement is released by Duetshe bank.

I will help you and post a proof link here https://news.bitcoin.com/deutsche-bank-predicts-bitcoin-rising-to-28k-by-year-end-warns-crypto-free-fall-could-continue/.

In reality, this is not the price everyone are expecting Smiley The only price that suits everyone is new ATH. I dont know how they came with such a number, but it seems pretty low for me. It took weeks or even days to loose 5-10 thousand in price, and it will take months to gain back? I am expecting Bitcoin price not to change much during these 6 months that are left till New Year.

Falling bitcoin prices are surely a matter of concern for me but I have no idea what to do at the moment. Just when I decide to hodl, it shows an upward movement and when I want to sell it, the price falls. There is so much fluctuation in the market at the moment that there is nothing you can expect from your trades.

holding is boring, but we can ignore it so we don't keep thinking about it. that way we will be better able to hold on to it in the long term. this is just talking about psychology and the courage to take risks, so the right time to let it go is when the bullish season arrives, and those who can't afford it, of course, will experience panic selling which will harm ourselves, so plan carefully before investing in bitcoin
I don't know if here someone like me, trades crypto and holds it when the price falls too deep due to wrong attitude, not purely long term investment i.e. buy and hold, so it's hard to ignore the market and what is happening at the moment and sell loss to get a higher return from the decline is very valuable momentum with a discount and increase the asset,

So much have been in the fore play in Bitcoin and to that a lot of issues have forced Bitcoin to behave in the current behavior, from sec calling Bitcoin an anti-environment and eco friendly even though we know all this are campaign of fallacy championed by anti Bitcoin crusader.
The world's richest people are now competing for bitcoin. If someone fails here, they try to represent it negatively. Maybe it's because their habits can't tolerate anything positive or they can't afford to buy bitcoins. But no matter what is said, Bitcoin will run at its own pace.

Bitcoin, which has reached its lowest price since 2020, currently it is said to be a golden opportunity. However, it should be well understood before buying because it is the most volatile and long-term investment asset.

Everyone with their own concept about Bitcoin. If they come to us and tell us that Bitcoin is bad for the environment, then I will have to argue it if the cars and industries that donate tons of toxic chemical and fumes to the environment causing climate change every single year is good for our ecosystem. People just like coming up different different excuses to term something good bad.
The FUDers that had caused the current fall of price of Bitcoin want us to sell our holdings so they can change our mindset and make us venerable and put us in penury.

That's the very reason for doing your own research and study. You can stand and establish your understanding

regarding to the investment/means of transacting that you choose to use or choose to hold, those people who are trying to
shake the market are mostly the one who know how to generate a huge amount of profits out from newbie or weak holders,
they are good at playing with people's emotions and backing it up with tons of money to support their claims.

Timing the crypto market is not foolproof.  Of course we want to buy Bitcoin at the lowest, but IMHO it's best to find an acceptable floor that works with long term HODL'ing and keeping some in reserve just in case Bitcoin drops lowers than anticipated floor or a limit order in place for a potential flash crash.

Nobody knows if 17K was the actual floor for BTC and it could go lower than that.

However, if you aim to hold it, then yes, right now btc has a good price to enter as well.

Not a financial advice.
this is what is happening in the market for now, but we have to analyze the market for the next trend so we can see the price, although not necessarily that way we can get certainty, but what we do has a direction to be able to get the right buying and selling prices right because holding on too long is sometimes very boring Grin Grin Grin
There's really no certainty on these coins because we can't know what would happen in the future because we don't know how bearish the market could become soon, we know it's risky but these risk will be worth if the market starts to recover again and maybe it will hit a new ATH few months from now. Hodling might be boring but it's the easiest and safest thing to do rather than bothering yourself on checking the prices daily and hourly.

On the time you had stepped your foot into this market then you should already make yourself realized these things on the first place on which nothing is assured and everything is really random.

We cant know on where the price would be heading and neither the market could move sideways for a very long time which simply means that you would really be
needing to realize and make out steps according to your risk management.

Dont anticipate for positives because market could really go oppose on what you are expecting.Expect the unexpected as always.

I think, the bearish market will soon be over in the crypto market, because the price is preparing to hit higher for investors to start earning something good from their investment. I believe, Bitcoin price will not decrease more than this current price before it will hit $60,000 because the green light is preparing to be stable through out this year 2022. Many potential investors will use this opportunity to buy huge amount of bitcoins and hold for the price to increase higher before they can sell to achieve incomes.

It should also be noted that it is not only bitcoin that is currently in a declining position but the entire sector. Stock markets and the world economy are in critical times. then that is also the cause of all sectors experiencing a decline. and the anti bitcoin began to use this opportunity to spread fud against bitcoin.
Yes, the whole economy is going through tough times not just the crypto market.

Always will be, when bitcoin is at its peak and keeps hitting new ATH they say the bitcoin bubble is about to burst and when bitcoin goes down they start singing that bitcoin will go to zero and it will die soon. All this will never stop, as long as bitcoin exists they will always find excuses to spread that lie.

and the fact that is happening today, those who are anti-bitcoin are also secretly investing in crypto. Creating FUD is just a manipulative job to lower the price of bitcoin and buy it cheap. We've been through several periods where bitcoin is always hit with FUD which causes bitcoin to crash to the lowest price, and then we definitely know, bitcoin will return to the highest price and action to take profits will occur.
This cycle will keep repeating itself.

Sure, I bet you guys who are always creating FUDs looking for ways to bring bitcoin down to its lowest price are also actively buying bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. Including the government, maybe they will enact a law banning people from using bitcoin but there's no guarantee they won't buy bitcoin behind their back.
We all need money and they, like us, need as many assets as possible, but their way of doing things is dirtier than ours.

Not a better time to buy because the dip isn't over. Maybe I would have agreed if you say a better tike to start buying in tranches and apply DCA if it goes lower. We need a move either up or down for a new structure to form so we will really know if it's downward or upward that the price will move.

So, do you think China, which is known so far as being brave enough to ban bitcoin and everything to do with mining and trading, will also buy bitcoin when it's cheap?

Anti-bitcoin are those who really won't do anything to bitcoin other than just hate it, but manipulation is the way to go some people target profits on bitcoin by manipulating the market to buy low and sell higher. Manipulation is one of the habits of the whale, so it is different from anti-bitcoin.

8 months low? I thought this was 18 months low right? We have never seen bitcoin going less than 30k since last December as far as i can probably remember. I am sure it is not because of this anti environment fallacy and definitely not because of fed doing some random things with dollar because if that would have been the reason I am sure bitcoin would have pumped instead of going down. It's just mere market manipulations that are going on and won't stop until there is some good bullish consolidation.
it looks like what my friend said is correct, if the price is below $30K it seems that it has been happening since early 2021 and now it's happening again, indeed the current situation for bitcoin is never getting better. Many predictions have been made and the analysis carried out, of course, we cannot predict whether one of them is due to anti-environmental errors or because of market manipulation by the pope and big institutions. all just predict it but is this true, what is certain is that bitcoin is currently down and we will wait for surprises to rise again.

Bitcoin haters are fond of doing these fake news every time the crypto market is down, and this is not new to everyone here. While they always anticipate for the collapse of bitcoin and its crypto market, not even knowing that this will even gain us more interest in the market as the more prices are dipping, the bigger the opportunity to re invest again. So let them believe in their own lies, as they can't do nothing if they see us making great profits when the bullish season is here again.
Precisely, if you know how things work, then you will not be bothered by anything.

People who have that kind of mindsets are the one that being affected most when the market start to pump high.
There are good traders and experienced traders who treat this as opportunities to buy and hold more, long or short
they've got profitable strategy that will allow them to continue to enjoy whatever the market behaves.
It's funny that such people always bash on Bitcoin no matter the situation, if it's crashing they're shouting that it's finally dying and the bubble is bursting. On the other hand, if it's rapidly gaining in value, they'll still shout it's a ponzi and a scam, even after 10 years of its initial debut.

Bitcoin haters aren't going to change, despite the market situation, they'll always bash at it.

Bitcoin is already low for 8 whole months. What a scary name of a topic. To bad people dont remember that after reaching a price of $20k in 2018, Bitcoin has been down for 2 years. 8 months, compared to this is still nothing. Everything depends on when you have bough your Bitcoins. Those who have bought it in 2017, dont understand what "low" are everyone talking about.
This might be scary for those who have bought at high prices but it is a golden opportunity who always wanted to buy bitcoin at lower prices.

Some people are still not buying at under 20,000$ as they are anticipating 15k or less.  It's better to buy now because when bitcoin will reach new highs over 70k, it will not matter much if you bought at 20k or 12-15k.
I think it is not "that" bad for the people who bought at a high price neither. I mean think about it, even if you bought at 68k, then if you could find some more money then you can buy at around 20k and drop your average to 40k, which we were at for so many months, and know that it is not that far off right now.

You can drop it even further if you buy more now than what you bought back in the peak times. Hence, the lower price is not ideal, it's bad, but it's not that bad for the people who did this as well. I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be to buy as much as we possibly can and without worrying about the situation and just hodl.
It's not the end of the world if you've purchased that high, we've been presented with quite a few opportunities the past few days (below $19.000) while it has pretty much stabilized at $19.000 - $21.000. Still though, someone who bought that high will have a hard time recovering his losses and acquiring profit, providing that Bitcoin returns to its former glory. Chances are, that the next two years will be quite depressing for cryptocurrencies.

What if there was a better time than it had been 8 months ago, will you regret it, if it turns out that Bitcoin is far from being seen any deeper.

I'm starting to think Bitcoin hasn't shown its authenticity for the past eight months, this is just a test run, according to my observations it's much worse.
If you think that bitcoin is not real and it hasn't shown any improvement for the past 8 months and could go worse, then you are free to sell all of your coins and just get out, that way you will not have to worry about losing more money.

I am not sure if that is what you mean, but this is how the market works, people who do not trust bitcoin anymore could always sell and there is nobody forcing you to hold your coins forever, it would be insane to do that. The best thing we can do right now would be making sure that we don't go to the route where it's both risky, and also we still hold it because we fear or we sell because we fear, do not do anything with emotions, listen to your head.

Did you tired with 8 months holding and altcoin or bitcoin price still drop? You was lucky with 8 months about price from bitcoin and altcoin still lower but I have been more than one year keep hold my altcoin assets after dropping almost -60%. I don't think to cut loss because have faith and believing with bitcoin for next month have good news to recovery on higher price. Bad moment more than one year without any profit from trading and become long term investor or holding looks not really worth with altcoin price still drop and not have moment when back to the top price again.

I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be to buy as much as we possibly can and without worrying about the situation and just hodl.

bitcoin today formed a bearish wedge pattern, so after a decline from 28$k it broke below 20$k and this is still possible fake bitcoin bullish or real ..? maybe most of the forum members here are already hesitant to take advantage of the next decline and prefer to hold on and be patient because too many emotions we have conquered

indeed! in the past decade of bitcoin's existence, for long-time holders, they have been in a lot of roller-coaster ride of emotions. so what is different today then? if you are still holding, it means, you have very strong belief that btc has still good future. and no one can disagree with you because no one has the crystal ball to know the exact future of this market. as adoption is growing stronger, and so is the possible demand in this market. even if we are in this challenging period, people have high hopes because of the increasing number of people in this market.

So much have been in the fore play in Bitcoin and to that a lot of issues have forced Bitcoin to behave in the current behavior, from sec calling Bitcoin an anti-environment and eco friendly even though we know all this are campaign of fallacy championed by anti Bitcoin crusader.
What if there was a better time than it had been 8 months ago, will you regret it, if it turns out that Bitcoin is far from being seen any deeper.

I'm starting to think Bitcoin hasn't shown its authenticity for the past eight months, this is just a test run, according to my observations it's much worse.

I believe Op was referring to the Bitcoin price from the last ATH which is actually more like 7 months as we can see however, I do believe that the price continues downward is more of the usual market manipulation even though we cannot rule out the Fed influence as well. The market witnessed new kinds of investors over the past year and most of these investors are more from financial institutions and are also quick to react to Fed news which can also negatively affect the Bitcoin price.

Of course many are surprised because Bitcoin drops more than 35% within 8 days, many panic and sell with loss and regret because investment in Bitcoin, but in my opinion this is normal, when the price is cheap then it becomes the best opportunity to buy, don't sell because it is because Market immediately rising again.

Currently entering the 7th month of ATH happening in Bitcoin prices continue to run below, with the high market cap that occurs in Crypto creating a lot of panic in various sectors which has an impact on Crypto price developments, then will crypto movements this year continue to experience a bearish market? Isn't now the best time to buy BTC at the current price? Because I have a good feeling if we are optimistic the price will bounce back.
Well if you think that we are in the bottom or near bottom then buy it the current price. Personally, I think the price could still go down, however, you wouldn't lose a sleep for buying at today's price of $20,400.
Considering what bitcoin was worth a few month ago $20k is a very good price. Maybe it'll go down a little more, I don't think below $15k anyway, at that point is it such a big difference? $5k are a lot of money, but compared to $67k...

I believe the negative statement made about Bitcoin by some people shouldn't bother us much because some people are still naive about the concept of Bitcoin and it is easy for people to say negative things about what they truly don't understand. However, you shouldn't forget that in some cases some people do this just to cause manipulate the market and I hope the newbies are wise enough not to fall for all this strategy.

If you have been around for a while now you should be able to be used to this pattern of Bitcoin price movement and a large extent if you bought Bitcoin 2 years back you are still at profit and that is if you look at the price of Bitcoin from the investment perspective. But again one needs to get the track right to make the best decision, Bitcoin has always been volatile.
we are just waiting for a pattern or 4 year cycle because a very significant bitcoin pattern will make its holders to be patient and not panic maybe for those who bought 5-8 months ago it is very felt for them when they see a portfolio that may have lost 70% of the price
For the people that understand the 4-year cycle of the Bitcoin market who mistakenly bought during the ATH price, i believe they know this is not the best to check portfolio loss to prevent panic sell, and thats if they want to make peace with the market.

There will always be attacks in bitcoin, and that will always be inevitable as long as bitcoin continues to become mainstream. But as history repeats, seeing what is happening right now has already been a scenario in the past, then we should not be triggered by the current downtrend as bitcoin will eventually recover when the timing is right and when the market is already stable. For now, enjoy the opportunities we have onhand, as we can never see them again once bitcoin price skyrocket again.

Like we all know, it is a good time to start investing hoping that in few months or a year the price would increase and investors would be happy again. Yes you are right because the price will definitely increase higher when it is time for the price to move higher to allow both short term investors and long term investors to make a good profit. The price of bitcoin decreased for those that missed the opportunity to buy bitcoin when the price was $30k to use this period to buy a huge amount of bitcoin and hold for the price to move higher before they can sell to make a good profit.

Sometimes this is one of the things that is quite strange because if I see especially among my closest friends or friends they sometimes hesitate to buy bitcoin when they are experiencing a decline and this happened again some time ago when bitcoin broke at $17k but there wasn't much of it. bought and kept waiting but when they had gone up slowly and last I saw it was over to the new $21k figure there was a lot of people buying when they had a chance a few days before.
This is what often happens, it is true that the assumption of waiting at the right price can be said but I think when there is an opportunity why not use it well.
As for buying at a higher price, we can't do anything about it other than waiting and now we have to focus when we have money left over, why not maximize it properly?
Panic will only make us less confident in my opinion and this is clearly something wrong.

It so happened that BTC is periodically scolded to knock it out of weak hands, and it can be said that they are good at it. Of course, you can say anything about BTC, but sooner or later the situation will change and I will again praise him and set him as an example. It has happened in the past, it is happening now, and it will probably continue in the future. The fact that now the price of BTC has gone down is, without a doubt, another attempt to lure coins from their holders. I think that those who have been on the crypto market for a long time understand that there have already been similar situations, and here you need to decide whether you keep BTC to the goal that you set yourself, or just sell it and leave the market. And to sit and live every hour, day or month is not a very good way out.

"No better time than now" sounds like a FOMO statement. You can buy now but don't go all in. You will have a lot of time to slowly build your portfolio until the next halving.

....He always waits to buy at lows because he wants to see a reversal. When it reverses he never buys because he waits until it's confirmed, not a fakeout. Then he finally buys at the end of a bull market because it's finally confirmed to him and holds because he wants big profit - at least 100%. Then it corrects and he holds as long as he's in profit because in his mind it can bounce back at any minute. Finally he sells it all at a loss and goes into this state of depression where he doesn't talk to me for months. He suddenly appears when we're well in the next bull market to ask if he should buy because bitcoin is starting to look good again, and so it goes for the last 8 years, or so. Believe it or not, he first bought bitcoin in 2015 and after all these years made not more than 10%.
There's something wrong with your friend. Is he familiar with trading? I think even a newbie trader would spot a consolidation phase which usually takes a long time before we enter a bull market.

I guess OP has chosen wrong set of words to what he is actually pertaining because I don't see any clear connection about his statements and the title he picked. This could cause FOMO for those newbies who aren't used to nature of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency yet. Indeed, there's still a lot of time to buy crypto. This bearish market won't end sooner and perhaps it would be a little later. Hence, it is a great opportunity for those people who are planning t enter and invest in crypto to actually make a research about what they are trying to get themselves into.

Regarding the mismanagement, miscalculation, and misinterpretation of someone's friend, it really does happen. Some people aren't just really that good in doing technical analysis that they fail to see what is ahead. Instead of profiting, some ends up losing. This is the unfortunate reality. Although this can be helped by enrolling to few lessons about trading. Since the quoted writer's friend has been into crypto for about 5 to 6 years and haven't grown his assets yet more than 10%, I guess there's something wrong with how he does things and it's a matter of time to change techniques and strategy on how he does trading for a positive change.

I would say that there is nothing scary for those who have bought at high if they open price graph. They can always ask a suggestion from those who have bought at $20k and waited 3-4 years before they get any profit. There are people who are into investing from very childhood. There are some who have bought stocks while they were in the university, and sold when they were in late 40s, and now quit their jobs. I know that holding and investing is not or everyone, but there is nothing bad when prices go down, when you know they always recover.

More likely 18 months low, since the last time bitcoin climbed to $20k was in December 2020 and ramped up to ath at more than $67k in November 2021.
Considerable occurrences that happened this year such as the great fall of the Luna coin that raised concerns for many investors and governments, the Fed increasing interest rates, and the inflation rate increasing to 8.6% in the US which definitely has impact on the crypto market.
The time has come for bitcoin to re-enter the cycle that has fluctuated quite a lot, the price may hit the lowest at $17k this month but eventually will increase, don't panic selling and keep hodl.

it is absolutely imperative to know that all this anti Bitcoin crusaders are no more than the Banks, Governments of different levels, hard core Business men, just about anyone who feels threatened by the existence of Bitcoin, those who also feel that the existence of Bitcoin is a threat to their business in some sort, like the Banks and others....
This set or group of people are the ones campaigning against Bitcoin, Not actually the SEC, the SEC is just like a tool at the disposal of this evil men and women to use.
I remember one time the government of Nigeria banned Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading in the country, Surprisingly, cryptocurrency trading apps were still found in the phones of this same government officials.
One thing remains certain, and that is the fact that Bitcoin has come to stay, it doesnt matter what anybody or government say or does, that will only bring a temporal decline in the price, after the storm, the sun will still rise and shine again.

No time is regarded as the better or perfect, when it comes to the purchase of Bitcoin. It all depend on when the individual thinks it the best time for his/her to jump into the market. Because, we don't know if they price will keep on dipping. Although, the price is currently around $19k, and we shouldn't be surprise if it falls down to $18k.  However, that should not prevent us from purchasing  bitcoin. We just have to buy, and be patience.
Bitcoin is currently in serious dip which might not be a good time to buy because it's breaking all support and resistance level. Perhaps experts and analyst are still predicting that it might dip to $10k or even below. But I will start accumulating more bitcoins before it starts a bullish run up. Those who bought it at at $59k and $40k are in loss and hoping to get back their capital when Bitcoin shoots back to the moon. Bitcoin is also behind the crash and dip of other top coins like BNB and Ethereum. Let's say from few months from now, Bitcoin sudden bull run will shock everyone in the soace, so what's best is to HODL for long term.

It's probably still going to go down. It going below $20k was probably a big FUD for investors, probably even those that have held on relatively well after Bitcoin went down from its ATH. I was relatively hopeful that it'd bounce back after that big dump from $30k to $20k (It's at $19k right now afaik) but it's still going down even now so I wouldn't be surprised if we touch $15k, so might be better to hold off those buying hands. Just hold it though and wait, we're bound to see a bullish trend sooner or later.
I feel like there is a bit of manipulation going on along with the price drop as well. It doesn't mean that the price going down is just because of manipulation, but it doesn't feel like it is 100% natural neither.

I feel like there must be some people seeing the price going down, and having that side a bit heavier, and then taking advantage of the situation like it is nothing and just sell and short at the same time to make it even more profitable for them. We need to remember that there a lot of people with 10k+ bitcoins, you may not see it on wallets because they spread it into multiple wallets. So, they may try something like that for sure.

Alot of people are still afraid to buy, the panic meter says it all and it's realistic, they tend to jump in when the pump starts, no better time to buy than now, it has been truly programmed that people won't buy the dip. Any coin that survive during this bear season will pump huge during the coming bull season
Panic certainly hits everyone, but everyone's level of panic is different. Just look at the current crypto market is not doing well and the price drop crashes to the $17k area. The opportunity to buy crypto at a low price is already visible and some people take this part and some people are still panicking and don't dare to take risks. But when the market is bullish there will be a lot of FOMO going on. people who buy dips are those who have analysis or those who have spare money to continue buying bitcoin or other altcoin assets.

HOPE IS THE LAST THING YOU LOSE... in some cases, people who want to be part of this digital economy are not well informed or at least not well enough, so they end up losing investments or, in the worst case, , all. . . . Digital currencies in general or Bitcoin must be known how to handle them, analyzing and thinking well about the movements and above all having confidence in ourselves since a positive mind, positive results. Now, if you are one of those people who always think negatively and lose faith with every problem that arises, unfortunately Bitcoin is not for you.

This asset is extremely volatile, it changes radically because we don't know if the price will continue to go down or up. So we have to think with a cool head on every move and always have hope. From my point of view, this is an opportunity and we should take advantage of it by handling it well and, above all, be patient. Wink

The current Bitcoins price is best for some people.
From some people I mean the people who wanted to join the Bitcoins HODL club.
Now they are able to get the precious bitcoins in such a low price.
Yes it’s been months since we saw the price of Bitcoins in such a low mark, but still Bitcoins will bounce back.
It’s just another dump, which will eventually end.
So at this current price buy as much as you can and HODL.
Then at a later period of time sell in good price and enjoy great profits.

In general, times like these are good times to buy. If we look at the bottom of March 2020 we see that those who bought at that time, it was very profitable, and those who sold, did so at the bottom. The problem is that when it goes down a lot, you can't be sure that it won't go down any further. The fact that the price has not fallen from the previous cycle's peak (at least significantly and for some time) is not a universal law that cannot be broken.

The best thing to do is to make several staggered purchases at the level you consider cheap.

Most of the people who get involved in this digital world do not inform themselves in the correct way to be able to manage their money and thus obtain good profits, that is why they lose everything at the time of fluctuations. Bitcoin is designed for those who analyze and think strategically, who trust their decisions and hope for the best, not for those who lose hope with each setback. This asset is extremely volatile, it changes radically, so it is necessary to study the subject in depth, and keep an open mind to possible increases that take the investment to high standards. This opportunity that is presenting itself may not happen again, which is why I believe that you have to take advantage of it and know how to handle it.

I think their is people in charge of the market price that are manipulating the market. The way everything is falling is very surprising to investors and traders. I am very positive about the market even though the price of Bitcoin goes below $10k. I believe this had happens before and this is not the first time we shall be seeing this drastically fallen market. Let's stay positive and leave the market to do whatever it want to do. You know we can't stop the wave of the market.

Those who think that it's stupid time to buy despite the fact that bitcoin keeps dropping are wrong, no one can accurately predict the bottom, the best thing to do is to DCA, dollar cost average, no one can actually predict that bitcoin will reach the price it is today, as at few minutes ago it was trading at $17900, the price is totally unimaginable at this point in time
You can't actually know or predict where the bottom is, however, I believe that Bitcoin will crash even further the following days. I don't have the budget to purchase now, nor the patience to wait for a potential recovery in the distant future. Don't be surprised if it hits $15.000 in the upcoming 48 hours, don't rush too much to make purchases now, there's a high possibility that you can achieve a way lower price.

So much have been in the fore play in Bitcoin and to that a lot of issues have forced Bitcoin to behave in the current behavior, from sec calling Bitcoin an anti-environment and eco friendly even though we know all this are campaign of fallacy championed by anti Bitcoin crusader.
There is nothing new to that as bitcoin will always be attacked by those people who create fuds that will make bitcoin enthusiasts lost their faith in bitcoin. And as if we are triggered with this price decline that hits deeply the market, as we have been wanting it to happen eversince so we can start taking advantage of the market that will make us profitable when the market starts to stabilize.

Have seen this much low near $20k after a long time

It isn't near, it is below $20k.  The $20k support had been broken since yesterday.  So Bitcoin is now playing at a range of $18k-$20k  I hope it won't go any lower but some prediction says that price might hit $14k-ish price.

and the market sentiments are low but there is need for huge investments at this time for prices to rise above and for sure this is really good time for people to invest money into bitcoin.Have invested little what i have saved at around $25k and now just want to hold it for long term without getting worried and hope this overs soon.

Why not add more, today is a good time to lower your price entry.  Many traders do DCA to lower their entry points when the market crashes.  It is a good strategy to maximize profit and not miss out on buying opportunities.

Stupid time to buy with the price dropping this fast.

Look like a stupid time to buy but also the wisest time to buy if you sold at a higher price, one of the things I always tell newbies is to always separate emotions from Bitcoin and flow with the market speculation to cash in on the profits along any line be it upward line or downward line Bitcoin is a multi-dimensional asset so it can react in whichever way it seems fit.

The way the price is dropping , next week or next month or next year, could be alot better time to buy than now.
BTC price will not reach a stable point anytime in the next few weeks.

Case in point $18K just fell, and we are now in the $17K range.
Stupid time to buy with the price dropping this fast.

Bitcoin will always be criticize negatively by bitcoin antagonists, regardless how bitcoin behaves in the market. Even if its bullish or bearish, those people will never stop throwing fake news about bitcoin, and i think its better to ignore them as they don't bring any significance in our lives. 8 months low? Just wait, there's more to that. Bitcoin will drop its price continuously to create big opportunities in the market, and when bitcoin recovers, those who only dare to buy and hold will always be the winners in the end.

The naysayers are here to try make other people's life bad, but they only make their own like that. They are one of the most unhappy people on this planet. Poor guys. They must feel really bad.

the situation is very serious, now we are below $20.000 (to be more precise we dropped to $18700 and now we are in $19200), that way in a few days we will be in $10.000 and on the way to $3100 which was the big one years support when the price reached 20,000$ and dropped a lot to $3100, I hope that at least the price manages to recover and stays above $20,000 so that we avoid the big disaster of falling to $3100. That's why I think this is not the right time to buy yet, it's the time to observe what comes next in the next few days, if the price will fall further or if it will stagnate, in case it stagnates then it would be a good time to buy and place a stop-loss

I don't think this is an issue to Bitcoin, we have heard this before and not that it will cause the death of BTC. We are in the bear market and it's bound for the price to plummet.

$25 thousand I don't think it's a little money sir but I applaud the current market price sentiment you are really brave to buy that much bitcoin without you sharing it with several other altcoins but you only focus on one goal, namely bitcoin.
Hopefully you will always be patient in waiting for your profits that are in front of your eyes because the price of bitcoin has now reached the level of $20 thousand.

Lucky are the ones that still sees the potential during this time, it's not too late for them to buy and with the market's bargain, they can have their own time picking the best out of it.

Like the others are telling, they can wait even more before the price goes down for some more because all of them believes that this isn't the bottom yet and there's more that will make the price even lower.

Well that's life, when others are still down and selling their assets, some people are happy and buying all those assets. I can't call them lucky, because in the first place maybe they waited this thing  for a long time. It's been more than a year already, I can't wait to see bull market again, I've been holding this tokens/coins for a long time, I am a type of person that will not sell nor buy during this season.

Guess you shouldn't have rushed things a month ago, right?

Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie  May 17 2022

And as others have said, not sure where you get that 8 month low, maybe from the last all time high of $69k to the current price?

Yeah, we're exactly 8 months from the last ATH and the lowest in 8 months, I don't know why everyone is focusing on that, just because this is also a 10 or 13 or 14 months low it doesn't invalidate the 8 months range.

Some experts say

I'm getting sometimes the feeling that there are more bitcoins experts in this world than the entire world population.
Bst advice would be to close any article, Twitter, Yt video when you see somebody labeling himself as an expert giving advice.

Some experts say that there is a silver lining to Bitcoin's volatility. While it can be scary and frustrating, it forces us to keep an even-keeled approach. That, at the end of the day, can be beneficial. Especially if you are looking to build a portfolio for long-term growth.

That is only based on bitcoin haters since they have nothing good thing to say about bitcoin. Even if bitcoin was at its peak, they still created black propagandas for bitcoin so its either we ignore them, or believed in them and lose instantly. I guess they don't realized that this is what we have waited for long to happen, to see bitcoin in a very cheap price so we can buy a lot of bitcoin for our portfolio and see us profiting in the end, while them leaving in envy.

There's no how bitcoin can survive it through without suffering many critics from people around the world, it was once a environmental challenge but now that of the dip in it orice which many still fail to see how needless that has been, when a system is built to run decentralized and volatile but yet they will abuse it when its on a pace going dip, while others were busy around with useless insinuation s there come others who don't see it role for any thing good worth investing on.

Well, it's likely that bitcoin has ran over with the businesses of the people from the authorities so they make an issue. But there's this thing that I've read that it's not really an issue about eco and energy.

They're just making a noise out of it to spread FUD and make its investors worried and scared so they'll eventually sell. And when that plan has exactly executed, here they comes and will buy all of those cheap bitcoins that has been sold.

This is a cycle and it seems that they've been waiting for this but are they really gonna buy on this one? or will keep on telling that black propaganda against bitcoin even it's like they're telling empty words.
One of the most important things is that bitcoin is a very volatile asset, there is risk and there is also potential, but because this market is free then anything can happen as long as they consider it the best way to make a profit.

The Fed's aggressive rate hikes have an impact on bitcoin and all other investment assets. This is a situation that may not be favorable for previous investors but will certainly be very profitable for those who arrive late because the opportunity to buy at a discount just appears. But traders' concerns and the panic they experienced had sent prices lower as support was unable to withstand the heavy selling pressure. I'm sure sooner or later the price will form a new pattern, this will be good in the future.

The aggressive interest rate hikes are because of inflation. We have been in an inflation for a while now, due to pandemic free money printing period. Not that this is a better option, but at least it is more controllable situation. With the interests so high, people would take their money out of the markets, and into the interests, which will leave a lot less money available for the world to use. In this regard, everything will stagger, the growth will stop and inflation will go down.

Of course, it will bring poverty with it as well, people who are wealthy got the money and put it on interest, people who are poor, will be living in fear of not knowing when the next money will come, but it will get better hopefully.

Again, this argument will continue to go in the next 10 years and I doubt that the anti-bitcoiner will stop. They will just rub it in when we are in a bear market to cause more havoc in the ecosystem.

10 month low was in May when we fell below the lows of July 2021 Roll Eyes

This is the problem of bear markets and bull markets. In bull people buy at the top thinking that since it was going up for the last X months there's no stopping it now. In bear people do the opposite, thinking that if it kept falling for X months it will continue forever.
That's why most people never make money and I personally know a guy with that exact mentality.

The present market conditions have nothing to.do.with what you mentioned as the low is a result of several factors and manipulations by whales just to fill more bags, the weak hands are busy selling while the whales are accumulating more Bitcoin.

Leave the sec out of this because all the sec can do is to strengthen the dollar against Bitcoin and not a total crash such that we have witnessed lately with the Bitcoin market.
