If argentinians are smart they will buy all the bitcoins they can afford before the peso loses all it's value.

this counts for every fiat currency, but more so in countries with high inflation or war.

The problem is always going to be the fees for this type of thing. HOpefully going forward tehre won't really be many fees people have to pay. I don't see any issue of why someone couldn't incorporate something that converts BTC into LTC for example so the fee is less. That would be helpful for micro transactions of like 25 cents for a few pieces of gum.

With the fact that btc is growing in popularity, shows that the price of btc will eventually reach higher and higher. This is a great step forward for btc.

The issue is that they simply can't get a decent amount of bit coin even with a large amount of local currency. The 6% commission is pretty large as well. This does make the situation there ripe for a sudden surge though. People will want to protect their wealth, even at a premium.

Indeed some good news but there is a big minus , and that's the fee.

Por la prestación de los servicios a través del Sitio, la Sociedad cobrará al Usuario una comisión del 6% por transacción.

With a 6% commission , there goes the financial advantage...

I had feeling that there is something wrong with this thing while I was reading article posted on second post in this thread and there it is. 6% fee, looks like they are not going to do much good to Bitcoin and its community.

wow a 6% comission is a ridiculous high value

And well, selling Bitcoin is not a really good news, I would prefer that were 8000 options to spend Bitcoins.

If that is true, why didn't Bitcoin price start raising? Is it awareness of people in Argentina problem? Will they buy Bitcoin? Do they actually know anything about Bitcoin?

It's great news coming from a country where not so long ago there was a USD prohibition... It seems that a government that creates laws banning US Dollar cannot be considered friendly to the BTC environment. That's why it's such a surprise to me, and it makes me really happy to hear that.

My best wishes to the Argentinians. I hope Bitcoin grows even more there.

This is awesome news for both Bitcoin and Argentinians! With news this good, I expect but more BTC.

Well this should be good news now that the Argentina economy seems like very bad, at least now they have a currency to switch off if his own currency becomes worthless.
