"Through technical measures, we will try to prevent the mining and trading on other platforms"

You couldn't centralize your "TCC" more, could you?

With Bitcoin, everyone fears an entity reaching 50%, you say you want 100% of hashing power all the time. One needs unlimited trust in "Ecki CO., Ltd.", otherwise your coin is worthless.

What the hell... I'm not even talking about those pre-mined coins... You didn't learn anything from other alternative crypto currencies that failed. Incredible!

"It will be not possible to re-sell the purchased TCCs on the virtual stock exchange."

Well, that's an easy way to make 400.000$ for you.

Come on, are you just greedy? Or is it ignorance? Or both?

Announcement

Trade Crypto Code (TCC)

Today Ecki Co., Ltd. presents the new crypto currency Trade Crypto Code (TCC).

The TCC is a digital currency, which based on the Bitcoin, but markedly distinctive features.

One distinctive feature of the TCC is that we try to hold the exchange rate permanently at 1:1 to Thai Baht.
With the following measures, we want to keep the exchange rate at 1:1:

  • At launch we will offer 12 million TCC on the virtual stock market at the exchange rate of 1:1; we have already pre-mined the 12 million TCC.
With this “wall” of 12 million TCC on the virtual market, we want to keep the exchange rate of 1:1 stable. Because with an offer of 12 million TCC, it is difficult for other suppliers to receive a higher price for one TCC.
  • Individual miners should also not get market power, so that we want to achieve that that the coins at a found block during mining will be going to 99% to Ecki Co Ltd. (for price stabilization) and 1% to the miner.
The 99% of the coins that we receive will be offered directly on the virtual stock market at the exchange rate of 1:1.
  • The mining of TCC out of our virtual stock market will be preventing through technical measures.
  • The maximum number of coins is also like at other crypto currencies limited (21 million TCC).
The maximum number of coins is to prevent the generation of an unlimited number of TCCs and the fall back into the fiat money system.
  • Another distinguishing feature is the TCC has a significantly faster verification time than the Bitcoin.

Why try Ecki Co., Ltd. to maintain a permanent exchange rate of 1:1 to the Thai Baht?

If you take a look at the development of the price performance of the Bitcoin (BTC) in the last years, especially in this year (2013), you can see very tight jumps between 50 and 200 Euros for 1 BTC. So you can see that the BTC can be a mercy of speculators very quickly.

Therefore, we believe with a fixed exchange rate of 1:1 the entry of speculators can be prevented. A fixed exchange rate is still a degree of security against large price fluctuations, where a large loss in value for owners of TCCs can be avoided.

The TCC is actually a kind of regional currency because most of acceptance will be concentrated in Thailand, it is also important to provide our partners with a fixed exchange rate, a certain security against price fluctuations.

Why 12 million TCC were already pre-mined? Are you trying to cheat?

No, we don´t try to cheat here. There are already 12 million pre-mined TCCs to offer a fixed exchange rate of 1:1 to the Thai Baht from the beginning. Because without the pre-mined TCC we would give some miners the opportunity to mine a very large number of TCCs; there they would have the chance to set their own price for the TCCs, in which a fixed exchange rate of 1:1 cannot realized.

We believe that as long as the editor of a digital currency, has the majority of the coins, a fixed exchange rate can be realized.
A fraud by pre-mining can be excluded, because when all coins are in the possession of the publisher (i.e. Ecki CO., Ltd.) a fixed exchange rate of 1:1 can be offered.

Where can I mine or trade TCCs?

TCCs can be only exclusive mined and traded on the Pool Server of Ecki Co., Ltd.
Through technical measures, we will try to prevent the mining and trading on other platforms. Because this isn´t desired by us.

Why is it not possible to trade with TCCs?

A current problem (especially with Bitcoins) is, that due the anonymity of digital currencies, criminal acts are very easy to do; e.g. Bitcoins can be used really easy for money laundering or other illegal transactions.

Due the “One-Way-Rule” for TCCs, we try to prevent it. So TCCs can be purchased only on the virtual stock exchange and can be only redeemed on our acceptance points. It will be not possible to re-sell the purchased TCCs on the virtual stock exchange.

Important Information!

Because of increased hacker attacks on our pool server in recent days, we closed the external access.

The pool server continues to work internally.

Announcement

Hi,

I´m Marc, Project Manager at Ecki Co Ltd. and responsible for the relaunch of the Pool Server.

By the start of ASIC-Miner is our Cluster with the Icarus-Boards compared to ASIC-Miner no longer powerful enough. With the relaunch we want to change it. Our plan is to replace the Icarus-Boards to Avalons.

It is possible to buy shares of the cluster on the virtual stock market on our pool server.
At the moment the cluster has 33 Icarus-Boards with a hash rate of 12.5 GH/s, which we want to replace to 33 Avalons with a hash rate in all of 2.2 TH/s.
With the share issue we want to finance the replacement.

More Information about our Cluster can you find in this PDF: http://ecki.net/media/Cluster_EN.pdf

In the next weeks we also launch shares of our new project on the virtual stock market. The project is a offshore fish farm.
More information about this project will be announced in the next days.

We are also planning to edit the design on our Pool Server.

Best regards,
Marc

9 Avalons arrived here on Koh Samui at our office 2 weeks back boosting our hashrate now to 600 GH/s.

We like to upgrade our eclu cluster from 33 Icarus boards to 33 Avalons soon.

Another announcement with more details about this will follow shortly.

Today (09/25/2012) we have added private Crypto addresses to our pool server.
So now you can generate private BTC, NMC and LTC addresses and use them for payments from "outside" to your account balance in our pool.

Please read the DISCLAIMER before using!

Don't fall for this. From their webpage: "Nominalwert CHF (Schweizer Franken) 0.50 pro Aktie. zu CHF 5.00 Ausgabepreis pro Aktie" which means they sell shares worth 0.5 CHF for 5 CHF. Quite a "bargain", don't you think...?!

It looks like this guy Lehner/EUIRQP pulled of some scams before:
http://wiki.grenzwissen.de/index.php/Abzocker
It's a german webpage, but I guess people thinking about investing their money into something are able to do their own due diligence...

(Note that this is would not be the first company claiming to sell "free energy" devices. No company of this kind has ever succeeded. Instead they always ran off with their customers money. In this case this would actually not be very hard if you sell shares for TEN times of their value...)

We have opened our Stock Market for public BETA on 15th of August.
You can buy shares of different companies there and trade them (selling & buying).
For buying a share of a company in our Stock Market you need a SMO (Stock Market Option).
This SMO is not a new currency, it is just needed to buy a share of a company and is mined as a GOLD member at the same time as BTCs and MNCs in our pool.
You can buy & sell these SMOs in our Exchange as well.

Please keep in mind that this is version 0.1 of our Stock Market and there is much more to come within the next 12 months.

Hi Rudrigor,

...
I wonder where is that dropbox. Went thru the whole site and nothing!

Did you upgrade your membership already to at least Bronze membership status?

Quote from the first message (last sentence):
"...
You need to be bronze member to participate on the game..."

The Tab GAME will appear only for GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE members.

Sunny regards from Koh Samui,

Edit: One other option is that we archive our 66 Gh/s goal for the month of June, which he have just hit with your additional 12 GH/s hash rate. Smiley
So if we could keep the total hashrate of our pool above 66 GH/s in June, every active miner will automatically get a free GOLD member ship status in July.

Hi Rudrigor,

...
I am mining at miner.ecki.net (Asia)
will try the other one now.

Not sure how to play this  number game...

Let me know about the stale rate from China to Europe.

About the number game:
It is similar to a lottery, just select the "Play Holiday Package Jackpot Game" from the drop box and click one of the 16 numbers below (0-F).
As an active miner in the pool you have 4 bets per month.
You bet on the last digit from the hash of the first found block (BTC or NMC) in our pool.
If you guess the right number you get one point for every hit (Earned Points).
The 3 guys with the most points in May 2013 will win the holiday packages as described in the first article.

Easy, right?

Good luck,
 Ecki

Hi Rudrigor,

Hello everyone, will mine here maybe try one of the prizes. Who knows?  Shocked

Ecki, watch out for the server load: HIGH

I am getting 1.6% stales.

I hope to meet you personal soon here in my house at Koh Samui.
Just show me the performance of your Icarus boards!  Cool
And play our monthly number game which is independent from the hash rate.
So you could cash out your BTC live in Thai Baht here in my local office...

At which location do you mine in our pool?
eu-miner.ecki.net (Europe) or miner.ecki.net (Asia) ?
Did you tried the other location as well?

A n n o u n c e m e n t !!

We moved our European pool-server to a new hardware.
eu-proxy.ecki.net as well as eu-miner.ecki.net is now located in a server farm in Paris/France, the hardware specification is as follow:

8 CPUs
24 GB RAM
2 TB HDD
100 Mb/s Internet connection

The old hardware in Berlin/Germany is still available under eu-pool.ecki.net for a while, but will be removed and used for a different purpose (block explorer) by the end of this year.

With this new hardware we got the stale rate now down to 0,1-0,2%.  Cool

Our miners in ASIA should still use our pool server at miner.ecki.net for best performance.

Sunny regards from the holiday island Koh Samui/Thailand,
 Ecki

Yes I agree, with a GPU BitCoin mining makes right now more sense than LightCoin Mining, because the ROI is faster... Smiley

About merged mining with other coins than BTC and NMC: There are right now too many other things in the pipe, like creating our own WEB coin which will be totally different to the existing coins, the BETA phase of our own Exchange (you can change BTC, NMC and LTC to Euro (€), Australian Dollar (AUD) or Thai Baht (THB) here for FREE!
Except that you need a monthly membership (Gold = 3 BTC, Silver = 2 BTC), but there are no selling or buying fees.
Also the integrated WEB shop will go online this month where you can buy goods & services for BTC, NMC and LTC direct without the need to convert them first into Euro or US dollar.

And we would like to setup our Pool-Proxy-Server in NA (North America) at the end of this quarter.
So as you can see, we are very busy in the moment...  Undecided

But long term we plan to add more coins to our pool.

Cu,
 Ecki

I see, wow you have lots of things planned. And about the btc vs ltc gpu mining, I switch between the two depending on difficulty.

http://allchains.info/calc.html

With my 250MH/s BTC and NMC mining, I make roughly $0.02 more a day then mining ltc with my .259MH/s.

Edit:

Wow this bad luck sucks.

Bitcoin mining is more profitable right now, so I'm gonna switch to that for awhile. Ever thought about merging i0c and ixc in your pool too like bitparking? That would attract more miners for sure.

Hi Tittiez,

...
Maybe this Wotan guy saw my hashrate and thought be might be able to guess my password and steal my litecoins? I guess the proof really isn't in my favor if he had the same hashrate as me, I can take a picture of my moniter if that helps you believe me.

I can see now your US IP address in our database. So that is prove enough for me.

I apologize that I though you where Wotan, but too many coincidences (same hashrate, German IP, almost right away after we blocked his account yours showed up, etc.).

So welcome to our pool and sorry for the bad start. Grin

Hi Tittiez,

I unlooked you account now to verify the IP address.

The one you provided is really in USA, but it was not the IP address which was logged last time at your account!!
This one was a German IP, but not the one from our German Proxy-Server.
So theoretically it could be that someone from Germany tried to hack your account just before I looked at it.
We have extended the monitoring now from the last IP to the TEN last IPs to verify this better.
Last time I could see only ONE German IP address at your account.

May be it was really an unlikely coincidence that we looked out the account from Wotan 24 hours before you "popped in" with the same hashrate he had.
And than your last recorded IP was a German one from the same address range of his miners...

So you could now understand me a bit better?

May be my conclusion was wrong, but this will be shown very soon when I see the last ten IPs from where your user account was accessed.

Sunny regards from holiday island Koh Samui/Thailand,
 Ecki

I have honestly no idea why my account was accessed from germany, im trying to think of a logical reason but I can't. Maybe this Wotan guy saw my hashrate and thought he might be able to guess my password and steal my litecoins? Ooooo, maybe because our hashrates are similar he thought he could hide behind my account? I guess the proof really isn't in my favor if he had the same hashrate as me  Tongue ... I can take a picture of my moniter if that helps you believe me.

The German IP must have been from the EU Proxy, that's the only thing I can think of. I live near Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, USA and my IP is 71.195.73.144. I don't understand what the fuck your talking about, I wasn't trying to steal anything.

I don't know if I even want to mine at this pool if your just going to accuse me of shit. Scratch that, I can't because my account is banned for no fucking reason. And I didn't even get to cash out the LTC I mined, and i'm the one stealing?  Huh

Edit:
I just read your posts closer, I don't know who the hell "Wotan" is, I just noticed your pool for the first time a day ago, and the fact that it wasn't a well known pool and also supported LTC sold me to mine at it.

I'd still be willing to mine at your pool if I could be unbanned, I like the graphs.

I guess I'll go mine at bitparking until this is cleared up  Undecided

Hi Tinua,

...
I think you can start working at NCSI-Koh Samui  Grin ;

Well, we store the last 10 IPs with date & time in our local database for security reasons.
So if somebody is writing here in the English forum coming from a German IP address I consider this still as "normal", because we have a lot of English speaking people working & living in Germany... no issue.

But if the IP address range of the miners (clients) is located mostly in Germany and a new miner who just appeared in this thread 24 hours after we have blocked the user account from Wotan requests a Proxy Server in USA...?!?! That doesn't make to much sense to me...  Huh
Do you agree? Grin

Normally I consider any investigation as a waste of time, so I do not like to spend my rare time for it!

But we did a poll about what we should do with the user account "Wotan" in our German forum after we got aware of the wallet.dat trojan using wotan.cc as server and the majority was for asking him to leave our pool server.
As administrator of the pool I like to follow a poll and make sure it will be executed.
Otherwise we do not need any more polls... Grin

And to me it looks like, he just came back with another alias user name and do not care about our wishes or polls... Sad

To be honest, I did not expect anything else from someone who supports steeling BitCoins...  Angry

Anyway, I will watch new user registrations a bit closer in the next few weeks...  Cool

Happy Eastern to you,

We would like to announce our European proxy server for our European miners at:

eu-proxy.ecki.net

For BTC & NMC mining there are the ports 80 and 8332 available.
For LTC mining port 7332 is available.

Miners in Asia should still point their clients to miner.ecki.net, no change here!
Please keep in mind that in Asia only port 8332 is available for BTC & NMC mining.
For LTC mining port 7332 is the same like in Europe.

For both locations the WEB front end is the same at: https://miner.ecki.net:444

It does not matter where you dial in (which location), if a block is found it will be distributed among ALL users in relation to their last N shares 1/2 difficulty contribution!

Two new proxy servers for USA and China are scheduled for Q2 this year...

My apologies eckmar for some reason I thought your pool was proportional.  Thanks for the explanation.

Dude it is PPLNS, you will loose shares if you hop here, and why do you care about this pool?  aren't you mining at you own pool?  Or why would you when you are scamming you members?  Just create a proxy and hop, but tell your members, please.  Also, it doesn't seem like you know what you are doing so I would be very scared to trust you hopping for me? PM me and I will help you for a fee...

Hello Chaang Noi,

So to support decentralization you will not let me send you hashing power. This will force me to send it to deepbit...

Okay... I will stop sending you work when I get home Sad

btw if you have followed my posts you will notice that I strongly support decentralization. I just gave 10BTC to support p2pool this morning.

Sorry to read that you get it the wrong way. Sad

But I assume your current 2,200 MH/s in my pool are not coming from GPUMAX, because you asked me to check out the problem with redirecting hash power from GPUMAX to my pool.
So I only rejected to debug redirection from this GPUMAX service to my pool.
All other hashing power is more than welcome from everybody who likes the idea of decentralisation.
I tried to explain my reasons for that, but I fear I could not explain it well enough for you in English language?!?
I am not a native English speaker...  Wink

If you give your hash power to deepbit (the biggest pool server at all) it will for sure not support decentralisation.
I feel sad to read this reaction... Sad

I hope you will rethink your decision again,

Hi Chaang Noi,

...
Ecki, I am trying to connect to your pool from GPUMAX however it will not connect and I'm not sure why. Anything you can do?
...

I personally feel uncomfortable about services like GPUMAX!
In my opinion they will have just to much hash power concentrated into a single hand if they are becoming big.
Who is controlling what the hash power is used for?
Do they stop chain attacks if they are recognized?
The slogan from Google "Don't be evil!" is not enough here...   Undecided

Sorry, I know you are also in that hash power rent/selling business, but I will not support that in any way.

I like the idea of decentralisation, because you could not shut down a well decentralised system.
The concentration into a few hands is the biggest enemy of this concept...
This is another reason why I started my own mining pool.
The big 5 mining pools have already more than 51% of the market in their hands... this is not good and makes the network easily attackable. Sad
Our network needs several hundreds of medium mining pools and thousands of small pools to become almost not attackable.
Just five big ones with a market share of more than 51% is dangerous.

Please support decentralisation!

Good morning A1,

I mined 5900 shares on your pool and never recieved any payment for bitcoins or namecoins.  My balance shows 0 and now my shares shows 0.  My account was under mu50stang.  Are you stealing shares?

For me there are 3 groups of people living on this planet Earth.

1.) People I like (medium group)
2.) People I do not like (very small group)
3.) People I do not know (the biggest group)

You just made it from the third group to the second one. Sad

Did you PM me or ask over the "contact Us" bottom about your question? No...
Instead your first contact to me is public asking me if I am "stealing", just because you do not understand it? Poor attitude...  Embarrassed

But because it looks to me, that you not smart enough to understand the "Last N Shares (1/2 Difficulty) payout system yourself, I will try to explain it to you.

With a BTC difficulty of 1,3 million only the last 650,000 shares are counted for calculating the payout.
Our last BTC block was found after 4,4 million shares. You left the pool long before that and you delivered your 5944 shares at the beginning.
Only shares from 3,75 million to 4,4 million are counted for payout, your 5944 delivered shares where ALL before 3,75 million...!

So your balance is still 0, that is 100% correct!

The second line in the top status bar shows your CURRENT round shares, if you do not work on the current block it shows 100% correct 0!

The "Top 20 GPU Lifetime Shares" are showing what the title says! The Top 20...
If number 20 has already 10,420 Lifetime Shares and you have only 5,944... what do you expect? To be listed in the Top 20?  Huh

Well, but somehow you were "successful", you are the first (and so far the only one) which I will Ignore at bitcointalk.org.

Time is just to rare to spend it with people I do not like...  Grin

ecki is -in my view- very trustworthy and certainly not stealing shares.
is the block in which you have provided your shares over? System is showing only roundshares on the top of the page.
In addition, there is a bug which shows 0 current round shares if no shares are delivered.

Log on, click on pool stats and look an the bottom of the Top 20 GPU Lifetime Shares.
there it should show your shares!?

The pool use Last N Shares (1/2 Difficulty) round scoring.
So it is quite possible that your shares are not paid

Automatic refresh now available.

We added last week a drop box for automatic refresh of the WEB pages in our footer at all pages.
So now, if you are watching statistics or currency rates, you do not need to press F5 or reload to get the new data.
Just select automatic refresh every 10, 20 or 30 minutes... done... Smiley

Hi Goat,

...
looks interesting. this is a way to get thai baht from bitcoin?

Yes, you can change your BTC or NMC or LTC direct into Thai Baht at this exchange.
Cash out via bank transfer in Thai Baht to any Thai Bank account in Thailand within 24 hours (Mo-Fr).

Please remember that you have to have a YUBI key which is registered with us to show this page!

You can buy such a YUBI key (USB stick with finger sensor) in about 14 days from now, after we have released our integrated WEB shop in our poolserver (https://miner.ecki.net:444).
In that WEB shop you can buy goods direct for BTC, NMC or LTC or sell your own goods for these crypto currencies if you are member of CT (Club of Trust).
This WEB shop has it's own auction module, so you could sell your goods for the best possible price in a certain time frame (optional: set minimum price).

ETA of this integrated WEB shop is 15.February 2012.

Today we integrated an Exchange into our Poolserver at https://miner.ecki.net:444 , so now you can change your crypto currencies (BTC, NMC, LTC) you mined with us into real currencies (Euro, Thai Baht, Australian Dollars).
No exchange fees!!!

To access the exchange you need a YUBI Key (USB stick with finger sensor) to generate the OTP (One Time Password) for VPN dialin.

Till 14th of February we will also integrate a WEB shop where you can buy goods for crypto currencies (BTC, NMC, LTC). There you could buy e.g. your YUBI Key and pay with BTC.

Stay tuned...  Grin

Can your pool handle 100 GHash/S of traffic? I ask because I am interested in the holiday. Can I bring my family? 4 people, one bed room would be fine. Thanks.

...

Hi, I buy and sell mining contracts so the amount of traffic I send you would depend on my over flow. I would not be level. I want to resell what I can but when I can't I need to mine. Might as well get a nice holiday out of hit. BTW how far are you away from the beach? Thanks.

We have two offices, a hill office where you will sleep and rest and a beach office where you have lunch and dinner (we operate in our Beach office a massage shop, Internet Cafe and a small Bistro with Thai & European food).
The distance between the two offices is about 500 meters, there is a line of sight and they are connected with two 150 Mb/s WiFi links each (one on 2,4 GHz and one at 5 GHz) over another load balancing router.
Our beach office is about 50m away from the beach, hill office is about 550m (but 250m above sea level!).

That price is not really going to work out. I was expecting something significantly lower esp since its already done. The going rate is much much less, just thought it would be great to work with a bitcoiner in Thailand.

Can your pool handle 100 GHash/S of traffic? I ask because I am interested in the holiday. Can I bring my family? 4 people, one bed room would be fine. Thanks.

Price:
Sorry, but we are doing IT support/installations for living not as hobby.
In Europe we charge 75 € per hour, in Asian the equivalent of 25 € (1/3) and yes, we make some profit an that, this is the purpose of a company (LTD).

Traffic:
Never had 100 GHash/s so far, but we have right now about 30 Mb/s bandwidth and could upgrade that easily to > 200 Mb/s within 24 hours (if needed).
So lets try it! It would not be your fault if you would crash our server, we will not blame you, but you could blame us... I am ready to take the challenge...  Grin

Holiday:
Well normally the prize is for one person only, but with THAT hash rate you could easily split it into 3 accounts and make the top 3, which would give you 2 weeks for 3 persons. In your case I will top the fourth person, because 2 of them are kids and give you 2 guest rooms (one for you & your wife and one for your 2 kids).

Hopefully cu next year live,
 Eckmar

edit:
P.S.: If you really will stay here for 2 weeks next year and bring a high end laptop with you, we will install Ubuntu 10.4 LTS linux on it and a pool server similar to ours for 75% discount of my quoted price = 200 €.
But you have to leave it the hole 2 weeks with my team, so they can do the job "in spare time" (means, between other tasks).

Well better yet, would you be willing to make me a pool? How much would you charge me for this service? Thanks.

If you have a vServer available with at least 2 GB RAM, 4 CPUs, 30 GB HDD, Ubuntu server 10.4 LTS; we could setup your own pool server for you within 4-5 working days.
We would charge for that a fixed price of 800 €.

Our experience with 1blu as a hoster for vServers are very good. You could rent one there for 14.90 € per month http://www.1blu.de/server/vserver/vserverl .
Our pool server for Europe will start there at beginning of January 2012.
We will keep the current one (here at Koh Samui) for the Asian area.

Where your majority of miners will come from?
Do you like to set it up here in Asia, North America or Europe?

It does not matter where, as long as the operating system is in English.
We are working world wide... thanks Internet...  Cool

If you are interested, just drop me a PM or Email me...

Can I have more information about where your one week holiday will be? Name of the resort?

Also would you consider moving back to your old style of pool. I am not a fan of your current pay method.

Thanks.

No Resort, you will be our guest in our house.
We have a 240 m² house on the top of a hill with fantastic view to Koh Phangan and to the ocean, 6 bed rooms (2 guest rooms with Queen size bed, where you will stay in one), 50 m² balcony with our own house palm (you could almost grasp the coconuts!).

I do not know a lot of Resorts which offer Internet access with several fibre optic lines over a load balancing router...  Grin
Here at our place you could have it, because we need it for our daily business anyway (http://www.ecki.net).

I will think about it, to offer Proportional as a second option selectable by the users... talk to my developer about it later today...

To promote our new pool-server at https://miner.ecki.net:444 we are offering following Christmas Championship:

We start with 10 BitCoins in the Jackpot sponsor t by Ecki Co LTD.

Every share which is delivered between 1st of December 0.00 o'clock till 31st of December 24.00 o'clock will be listed in our December share list.
Every user with more than 1,000 shares delivered has one tip, for every 100,000 shares delivered he gets one tip more.
You have to tip the correct last digit of the first block found by the pool-server in the new year.
Because it is coded in HEX, the last digit could be anything between 0 and f.
Your chance to crack the Jackpot is therefore 1:15 with a single tip or e.g. 1:3 with four tips.

The winner gets the Jackpot right away to his account after the first found block in the new year.
If there is more than one winner, they have to share the Jackpot accordingly.
If nobody will have the correct tip, the 10 BitCoins will stay in the Jackpot and Ecki Co LTD will top it up by 5 BitCoins.
The championship starts again in January with the same rules as long until there is a winner.

These rules should make sure, that even a small miner with only 200 MHs still has a chance to get the Jackpot and High-End miners are rewarded with a higher chance to win the Jackpot by contributing more shares.

Any ideas, improvement suggestions or comments are welcomed.

Today (2011-11-21) we added two new "currencies" to our mixed mining poolserver.

Since 13.00 o'clock GMT everyone is mining in addition to BTC and MNC also for GG (Geist Geld) with the same hashes.
On top of this you can point your CPU miner to our port 7332 (instead of 8332) and mine there for LiteCoins.

Happy mixed mining!

Today we added a distribution list, so everyone can see how the coins are distributed among the miners.
After confirmed the 120 confirms always switches to a link "Distribution" in the "Last 10 Blocks Found" statistic starting with our fourth found block.
So now every miner can see by block how many shares he mined for that block and how much coins he got for it.

Can you clarify on your payout method ?

"use proportional round scoring"

Is this proportional (my shares/all shares*50=reward) or score (such as Slush) ?

We have changed yesterday (08.11.2011) to PPLNS to prevent pool hoppers...

We currently have a fee of 1%, a transaction fee of 0.01 BTC or 0.01 NMC per transaction and use Last N Shares (1/2 Difficulty) round scoring to ensure payout of your hard work.

Your pool will see a lot of pool hoppers. You should maybe switch to a pay per share variant to prevent this.

OK, we changed now the PPLNS payout system, because we do not like to support pool hoppers.
I read here https://bitcoil.co.il/pool_summary.pdf the rating of Meni Rosenfeld and I agree with his opinion.

Isn't a prize after 1 year a little long, especially for something like Bitcoin mining/pools ?
Look at what has happened to BTC and mining in that much time!

I am looking for long term miners and not for pool hoppers.
So I think it is the right thing to do to attract miners for long term mining.

The Hype is over, so come down to earth again.  Wink
To me it looks like, everybody want to become a millionaire within a few month by mining for BitCoins?
This is unrealistic!
We all need to come back to earth and calculate LONG TERM...then nobody will be disappointed...

We have set up a new mixed mining poolserver for BTC (BitCoin) and NMC (NameCoin) under the address:

https://miner.ecki.net:444

You will mine with the same hashes for BitCoins AND NameCoins at the same time with our mixed mining poolserver. The poolserver does support CPU mining (LTC) on a different port as well.

This poolserver is operated by Ecki Co LTD at Koh Samui in Thailand.
More information about us is available at http://www.ecki.net.

We have started a championship:
On 4.11.2012 (one year after launch) the top 3 miners in our life time share statistic will win a holiday package on Koh Samui (Thailand) which covers following services:
1.) 3-1 weeks free accommodation on Koh Samui (Thailand)

3.) 3-1 weeks of free laundry
4.) 3-1 weeks free Internet access over WiFi 54 Mb/s behind 20/5 Mb/s fibre optic line
5.) Pick up service to and from Samui airport

The travelling costs are NOT part of this prize.

The holiday package could be taken after 4th of November 2012.

Again, the first prize is 3 weeks, the second prize 2 weeks and the third prize is 1 week of this package.

Happy mining!  Grin

edit3: Now we have another championship with our build in game (You have to guess the last digit of the next found block (NMC or BTC) to win a point, championship is running from 1.May 2012 till 30.April 2013). You need to be bronze member to participate on the game...
edit 4: Added Stratum protocol support on port 3333 with variable difficulty. Right now 12 Avalons are mining in the pool.
