Yea, but those are just pcie splitter.

What  hes gonna get are the cpu to pcie cables. Most of times you got one cpu cables free anyways.

Has anyone experience with these Adapters:

https://www.amazon.com/Motherboard-Graphics-Y-splitter-Extension-Connector/dp/B079CMF3X5/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1525247775&sr=8-14&keywords=8pin+cpu+extension

I need one for my Vega 56 but idk if it works fine without any Problems like too much power for those Adapters.

Thanks for your help!

Yes they are pretty safe to use. Some CPU connectors even might have lower gauge numbers so they can withstand a lot of current.

You don't even need the adapter you can simply by an CPU extender and repin it or you can buy a PCIe connector and hook that up instead of the CPU connector.

Keep in mind that the connections are reversed and always double check the polarity before plugging it in.

I've been using those without problem for my Vega56s and 1080tis. I use them because, as you are experiencing yourself, they use double the amount of PCIE cables and regular PSUs simply don't have enough cables.

I've been running my mining rigs with these for more than 6 months now.
