I run 4 rigs with EVGA 1600 G+, each rig has 10x3070 (120-130w per card)
So you run four 1600 watt psu's at about 1450 watts.
I owned a tone of evga psu's
the 1300 g
the 1600 g
the 1600 p
the 1600 t
the 1000 g
the 1000 p
the 1000 t
If you want to run your psu's at those levels you can do it.
if op wants to run his at 65% vs you running yours at 91% he can do it.
If I had the cards you have i would make it into 5 rigs of 8 cards and use 5 1600 watt psu's
so my psu's would be doing about 1100 watts vs the 1450 watts yours do.
Are you right I have no idea
am I right I have no idea
is the op right I have no idea.
the only way to know for each of the three of us is to check back in a few years and see the up time on the gear.
I no longer bother with big rigs.
I try for 3,4,5 card rigs in 6 or 8 slot boards with no risers. Is that better? I don't know but I never deal with a riser and I like that. I do not push my psu's and they last years.
I do not push my cards and they last. Every 1080ti hybrid I ever owned contunues to work past 3 year warranty about 28 of them.
Was it smart to run them more gently can't tell as I did not run 28 hard and see which made more money.
Of the 63 cards I have now 2 amd went rma but both on a 2 card gaming mining rig I suspect a power surge killed the rig.
The other 61 cards all work/ The oldest current card I have was an april 2020 buy.
I like what the op did.
I like the way I run my gear.
I used to press my psu's
I used to press my gpu's
I don't do that any more.
Does not mean it is better to cruise at 65% vs 95% but it is how I like to mine. With my cpu's and my psu's
btw you space them very well.
