8xxx are just re-branded 7xxx cards. You want to wait for the 9xxx cards, which are going to be faster. They're supposed to have a higher core count, wider memory bandwidth, and faster clocks all around, which looks like a recipe for some serious alt-coin mining.

That is what i`ve heard also. I also read that the releasedate of the 9xxx series is in late september. I doubt it will be a major gamechanger, but i`m still kinda looking forward to it. Smiley

The announcement is in September, card to be available afterwards albeit we dont know the volume available.

Ok, but you get the same result when you bought them at this time?
(trading Profit)

I mean a mining Profit is when you mine them and sell on same hour/day you got the coins.

no idea as I don't sell them until there worth something ( I mine new coins mainly )

Hello,

how much profit do you make per day with your 7950 ?
(how much powercosts?)

greetings

no idea as I mine coins then sell when the price peaks / hits an exchange

the best week was the week I mined  ifc where I made 1000ltc worth if i sold right now with only 3x 7950s Smiley

Hi.

Have anybody here tried mining with AMD`s 8XXX series OEM GPU`s? I`m just curious about the hashrate. If there is ANY improvments at all?
