So that's the problem with blockchain.
The longer a token lasts, the larger the block data for that token will become

I haven't got round to claiming any of my alts yet, but I have started to have some sync'ing problems with Bitcoin core. It doesn't seem to be the core software, which seems to be pretty stable. The problems started when Microsoft forced me to upgrade my Windows 10. Sometimes I have difficulties in finding peers with a decent ping rate, and sometimesI get long periods of no or low activity. I use a variety of public WiFi sources, and have done so for over 3 years, and this doesn't seem to affect the sync'ing ( assuming that port 8333 is open). I'll move over to Linux, and see if that improves things.

I think the problem lies in the updated firewall in Windows, it might be worth checking the error log in that.

Just as a matter of interest, what internet speed do you have? I have found that some APP's ran nicely at my friends house, but when I ran it at my house, some of the weirdest things happened. I upgraded to a faster speed and most of my problems was a thing of the past.

Some of these developers test their APP's on incredibly fast internet speed and when the users with slower internet test this, they run into several problems. Note, I am not saying this is the solution, but you might consider that.

Hope this is helpful. ^smile^

Buying new coins is certainly financially dangerous. There may be hidden gems, but most of them are going to pass into nothingness. I would download the wallet and check it before buying from an exchange. As for PoS coins, I have at least two that work. You may have to wait for a long time before getting a stake, from my experience the average times presented by wallets are usually heavily underestimated. For example, if its says 'average time 1 hour', it usually takes several hours.

That's because most if not all of the other coins are in the alpha/beta stage. So expect a lot of things to break and to not work. If you found a bug, report it to the development team. That way, it will hopefully get fixed soon. You should have known the risks before investing in certain coins. Always do research.

I'm tired of buying new coins, then I download the wallet and all the wallet's are always buggy.

Some wallets take days to sync, other's don't sync at all. Other wallets sync halfway then stop, then never sync again.

Also, I haven't got a single PoS coin to stake, ever. And I have several. I am going to start calling PoS coins, PoS coins, if you know what I mean.

The last straw was I go to check my garliccoin balance, now I can't log into the web wallet because they added 2Fa and I never added 2Fa so the 2Fa isn't supposed to exist.

I'm just, tired of the enourmous amount of work and stress this all is, and getting nothing for my coins.

Is this normal?

I mean, imagine you go to steam, and 90% of the games you buy, won't run, and half of the games have incomplete tutorials on how to debug or fix. When really it is the opposite, 90% of the steam games you buy will run immediately after installing, and only 10% don't run properly.

Some wallets, don't even have a progress bar, or the progress bar dissapears after you reopen the wallet because you had to reopen the wallet after it was stuck during sync.
