I guess they "fixed" the hole that allowed USA folk to use the coupon:
That's surprising. I have a user on another forum still selling hotels.com USA coupons at 60% of it's original value. Not sure how is that still possible, when it's already fixed. He claims to be having these vouchers legally and have been giving 1 year warranty towards is and guaranteed confirmation, else refund.
Surprising, really? You don't think HOTELS.COM is wondering why suddenly there are thousands of $200-$500 coupons floating around that they have to pay out to the hotels that got booked? They aren't really THAT dumb. There was one here too with same guarantee and now his thread is locked so he can fix it and "give refunds." Good luck. Maybe it will work for you. it's your money. I got one $500 room successfully booked at Disney but can't get anymore anywhere else even in small hotels in NJ for 2 months from now and I highly expect the Disney one to be canceled.
I hear you man.
Update about the USA Hotels.com voucher seller at 60% price. He claims to have limited stock and so it's that pricey. I aint got plans to purchase one atm. Even I have a booking worth 250 GBP confirmed and after speaking to other people who have finished their stay can confirm that it worked well till it lasted. So I also feel the same about the booking that it might get cancelled anytime.
