No one plays backgammon around here. I would definitely be down to run some games for coin. Will check out the link above.

We continue to work out the system glitches. If a game crashes or she loses points due to a server bug, please report it using the support link in the footer and she will get refunded her points.

We've made a lot of updates recently, and the system gets more stable by the day.

http://www.gambit.com/?ref=Mike_R now offers backgammon games for bitcoins.  Not many players yet but site is relatively new.  I have deposited and cashed out and both were very quick and easy.

Hey Mike - my wife signed up with your reference code and has played for several hours. Question:

She built up some wins, and then signed into another game, but the game got disconnected but not at her end ... and she lost her sign in points?? That is how she describes it. She said the game never actually even started before being discontinued. Is there someone/somewhere that she can get the issue looked at? Is the software glitchy? She has played backgammon for years recreationaly and this is something she could stick with if she doesn't get turned off from the get-go.

fortunately backgammon does rely on the roll of a dice, otherwise I would not consider it, humans can still beat a bot if the rolls are better.

Okay I have not started anything in this yet.
I probably do not have time for maintaining anything like this by myself, so if anybody is interested in joining I would be happy.
The idea is a server/site, where people can play backgammon against each other for bitcoins, with tournaments and such (when we gain some capital we might consider freeroll tournaments).
Tournaments could be implemented, I have looked at the bgblitz.com software for server.
So there is no need to write the code for this, we just need a way to make something that can add bitcoins to accounts on the server.
