Esports betting is not new in the gambling sphere anymore, so I'd like to share this article with you guys, especially with those new in the world of esports betting: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/beginners-guide-to-esports-betting/

Anyone who wants to start betting should have it in mind that it is not meant for everyone, so if you play it and it seems like it is not working for you and you're losing more than what you're gaining, then it is best to just quit and look for something else. Unless you feel like you should have patience and keep on playing that some day you're going to win a huge amount of money, then you can get on with it. Betting is not as easy as it seems, you will have to be someone who is current with sports to know what you're really betting, and you also need to learn it as well.
I think it needs you to be very quick and learned with prior experience. If you have that, you would very well make progress in e-sports betting. You need to have experience because this makes you able to know and come up with what to do. It is not a rocket science and I think is pretty easy if you start now and learn one thing after another. Good Luck.

Thanks for the guide. I am planning to start this kind of esports betting online and this guide you've provided is suited for a newbie like me. I hope I can do well in this field and that I can learn more about this since it is my very first time in esports betting. I've already read the Fixed Odds Esports Betting  Type. So far, the explanations are easily understand. It is for me on how to implement it in the right way.

eSports betting is for those who know how the game works and how the players play. How can you bet if you didn't know where you will bet?
Ofcourse, you wont really able to make some good solid bets if you dont know on what you are doing or simply doesnt know on which team you would bet.
Just like on betting on typical sports,if you dont have much idea on the sports and just passing by just to make bets then you are simply making yourself
lost unless if you are lucky enough.
To add to that, one should have experience betting on the game and not just trying to bet because you like it then the possibility that you will end up losing is higher. Gambling is not for everyone we should remember that and if you are eager to bet on the game you should have at least a friend who can assist you if this is your first time to bet on that kind of game since you don't understand the mechanics of it.

Thanks for the guide bud, It will help me a lot since I always play Dota 2 and CSGO. I might bet to my favorite team since TI is now coming, I hope I can get more profit through this. But I will use herosphere.gg, it's a trusted platform about eSports betting.

A more smart approach is to bet with small amounts. Once you think you are more often winning your bets, you can increase the amount of bet in each match. It is most easy to gain money from sports betting provided you have good knowledge about teams strength and can predict correctly.
For sports betting you need to learn the rules of a game you like the most because you will have a grasp over winning the game if it comes to your desired game. If you love cricket game then you have to choose it as your gambling option and definitely you will have more chances to win. Now, make a limit of your bets so that you go in the stable way as well as try to bet instantly when you see chances to win.

There are so many leagues now they are even televising their matches and tournaments on prime time television network stations.
The amount of popularity they have gathered in the last few years makes it competitive enough to rival even some of the major league sports for betting

I don't try sport betting because it is no completely luck based and also lot of manipulation on the games.

Grin I think there is also a little bit of luck in sports betting. For example, talking about soccer, a weak team might be awarded a penalty kick and if it is scored that could be called luck.
But this topic is all about e-sports and defining sports and e-sports, they are different in actions. E-sports means electronic sports which you are playing competitive games with a team or being individual through computer.

I understand those people that are talking about fixed matches because it really happens in this industry. For example, in Dota 2 here are players that were banned to the industry itself because of this issue.

Whenever I hear of  esport betting or sport betting, what comes to my mind is football betting. I usually don't remember there are lots of other popular sports betting like horse racing, multiplayer games as listed on your website
Other than soccer, horse racing is the most bets involved sports and the bet amounts are also huge even when compared with football. Cheesy

I don't try sport betting because it is no completely luck based and also lot of manipulation on the games.

Besides that, it is not easy to gather much information about the match, and if we don't have the right sources, we will not win the game, and we can get lost from that. I think right now Esports betting has attracted more gamblers to come to the site and play together with other people and I am sure that each of them can play better and they are competing with each other to win the game.
Neither of the 2 sports betting ( physical sports & Esports) Manipulation would always be present and gaining information regarding on the fight
and the teams involved wont really be not easy but somehow you can do your own research but it would be much better if it do have that corresponding
information leaks which would add up the odds of your winning.

Manipulation if the game is being payed by someone, by its too rare to happen on a horse racing. Soccer really on top when it comes to sports betting its fun to bet, but you have to be patient watching the game. You just need an easy guide to learn about sports betting, and this tips can make you a good bettor but don't depend on luck because its impossible in sports betting.

Got to make this thread alive. For those who are interested, you can save the link so that you can read the article always. Sports betting is fun and exciting that newbies or even curious people should try it. Just dont forget to read the article first.

Thanks, goaldigger. To keep the readers interest or to make them even more interested in esports betting, here's an explainer article talking about why esports prize pools are so big that they sometimes get bigger than what sports icons can win in their respective sports:
How Come Esports Prize Pools Go Over Millions of Dollars?
Prize pools with these e-sports events is really enormous which they do accumulate which way more than on sports icon can win same as you said.E-sports
industry is booming up and we have seen this is getting bigger and bigger as the year progress. As a bettor, having informations with these games would be needed just
like on typical sports betting but this one is more entertaining for most millennials.

And we can expect bigger prize pools as more and more businessmen and even celebrities (like Drake) invest in esports teams and companies. Without bigger rewards, esports event get bigger budgets for game promotion, tournaments, ads -- in which case the competitions will become more widely televised to reach wider audiences both in the gambling world and outside.

Thank you for sharing. I watch the DotA movie on the site. I feel that DotA is like a Warcraft which I already played in the past and I think it's almost similar to DotA.

Dota is the forefather of the Dota 2 which is in the Esport gambling site.

It was first made as a mod to warcraft 3. If you played the game online there were many dota custom games available. Then they begun to make their own version of the game on Steam that involved hero skins and MMR matchmaking. It's still a much better game than LoL despite being much older.
Esports betting is like sports betting. If you tried one you tried it all.

This got me interested. Never made a bet before but I might try it out. I'd probably get to know the game first before making any bets. I find esports more appealing since it's something I can play myself. I've always found sports like basketball confusing, which is why I only tried sports betting once.

How about the money won? Is it comparable to regular sports bets? The prizes in tournaments get ridiculously high so I'm assuming bets are competitive.
Betting is relatively lower in danger level to gambling but still it’s not safe either. Why to try your luck every day. Every wise person do know this sort of games are totally luck based and we do know as well that luck isn’t your friend every day. Betting would loss you more than you can earn from other sources. Why not to join a respectable way of income and to live a healthy and respectful life.

Yep, odds are usually pretty good depending on what sites you're betting on, and if you're good at predicting matches the potential rewards are comparable to what you'd get from regular sports betting. Some sites have lower bet volume than others, but there's pretty good bet volume for most matches in larger tournaments in the bigger esports games like Dota and CS:GO.

Since I do think that I am not that good in Esports betting, I am very glad that you shared useful guide for a no experience and planning to try the game like me. I've read the link quickly and it was indeed a very helpful tips on how the strategies work for a beginner. I was just curious if how does it similar with the traditional game?

Why can you say that you are not that good if you are still not trying it?

There are a lot of sites that you can rely to help yourself on betting on esports game. There are a lot of people that are still new to these sports and making their way to understand the games in order to gamble or invest in them. Sports gambling and Esports gambling is almost the same except for one thing, the meta. There are a lot of times that the game undergoes an update and things may change. At the rate, the plays of the player will be different depending on how they will be coping with that new update.

Thanks for sharing this guide. I have been planning to try Esports betting and I think it will be a good start for me. I just want to know if it will be applicable to any type of sports online. I wish that I could find my luck in Esports betting this time. I can't wait to join tournaments as well.
It would be more enjoyable if you do know on the games you are into or suits out your interest if not then you wont still understand such thing.

E-sport games will be a lot easier to rig and I will never touch those games.  It may become as big as sports betting someday since video games are the new hobby that you can do anywhere. I'm not a big gamer myself, I think people waste too much of their lives on games with no purpose, its fine for a side hobby but many people take it too far playing all day.
How about typical sports? Arent they prone to rig or fixed game as well? About playing all day, then its none of your business if they would like to be that way.  Wink

A nice little guide to esports. However I find esports too boring to watch, so I never found out what teams are good, and what a team can do to turn a match. So I almost never play any money on Esports!

I feel the same too. But if I think more about Esports, I think we could get a new experience if we could understand how to play the game. I see that Esports slowly gain more people to join and with so many games Esports in out there, people have many options to play the games they want. Besides that, I read on some websites about the tournaments for Esports, and the big prize is waiting for the winner.

I wouldn't trust too much on the teams ability when it comes to esports betting. Even in non e-sports there are many rigged games and I can't imagine how many more of them in e-sports games.

Once the big bets show up on those games, it almost certain some shady shit is going to happen because as far as I know, nobody gives a shit and there is no authority to punish the game riggers.
There are accusations in esports about throwing matches and when it's proven the players receive a punishment from the tournament organizers.

I wouldn't be worried on players to throw on bigger tournaments even there's a possibility since it's only doing more harm than good to them.
I don't think so. Esports game is like a sport but it is played using video games(controllers, computer and etc). They are professional gamers and it is their job. And they will not throwing matches unless they want to lose that job. They have no late game scaling so that they should do their best in order to gather lots of money.

if they throw/drop a match  ,they wont loose thier job because they have protectors . those are big people . they also earn a cash ( big cash ) even if they intended to loose the game  . this strategy do happen at all times ,  not just on the esports arena but also on all kind of sports based gambling  . you did mention late game .  speaking of late game  , esports such as moba games ( dota )  have a late game where a loosing team can recover and make an epic comeback  .

eSports are slowly becoming popular, not only on the gaming industry but also becoming popular on betting sites, games like CS:GO, Dota2, and League of Legends are the most placed bets when it comes to tournamentd and other stuff, a lot of gamers by now probably know this but again sports betting and esports betting are almost the same to be honest.

Could you create also OP a guide on how to bet in an online betting casino? I might be interested to see how it will be done so that other newbies will have some reference on whenever they would like to bet in casino.

Though we knew that visiting a gambling site would be easy by just trying to look for signatures around this section and just click it becuase it is a link lead to that gambling site.

Esports betting is not new in the gambling sphere anymore, so I'd like to share this article with you guys, especially with those new in the world of esports betting: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/beginners-guide-to-esports-betting/

Esports betting is also fun because it is also the same as sports betting that you need to watch the game, so you could know if you the team that you bet on have won the game. I can say that esports betting and sports betting is a gambling game that is good for entertainment and for leisure time. Anyways, I also have played esports betting in the game of DOTA2 and League of legends because me and my friends play those games. We start to bet on those game when it starts a tournament and we watch it in twitch.tv live, so we could see if the teams that we have bet won.
I also play esports betting with my friends and it is really a good betting game like sports betting because it is a lot of thrill and good for entertainment.
You are right, esports betting is really a thrilling gambling game especially in a close fight of the game that you are watching.

Esports betting becomes more fun if the rpg you are betting on is also a game that you yourself play.

Thank you for sharing. I watch the DotA movie on the site. I feel that DotA is like a Warcraft which I already played in the past and I think it's almost similar to DotA...
Well, basically Dota2 is from the game Dota1 which is a modded game created by Icefrog from Warcraft. And since Valve accepts Dota and most famous online games before, this makes them a number one esports game to watch most of the gameplay you want. And there are existing betting sites for this esports if you really like to bet each team.

Really decent guide actually, didn't expect it to contain that much info if I'm being honest.
Too bad that you haven't mentioned Starcraft, it's my personal favourite game to bet on.

Might just not be that popular in the west anymore though.

Aside from that guide, it's an advantage if you already know how to play some of the games. In that way, you will not just rely on speculations by other bettors as references. Upsets always happen at Esports tournament.

With that knowledge, we can create a certain speculation by just watching some of the game replays to guide us for our future bets. You will understand how those players works on their respective roles e.g Moba - tank, support, gank, hitter etc. and if their ability to adopt another role once they changed gears at some circumstances.

Nice guide, I'm not into ESports though, I just heard it around the community and thinking that I'm too old for this kind of stuff. Anyways, will try to read it and see if I can get interested somehow and make a few bets here and there. I heard that there are huge money in the table in tournaments so I guess this is a haven for gamblers as well.

Basically age is not a reason to learn something new, I was thinking the same thing when I wanted to learn about bitcoin for the first time. The most important thing to learn something new is about passion or interest, if we are not interested to learn something new then we wont learn it no matter how old we are.  Smiley
As in the statement age is not at all a factor to learn something new. There are people who have begun their life on retirement and has turned themselves millionaires and billionaires. As mentioned, being passionate towards something will truly keep thyself active and keeps focused on the goal. In our forum itself we've all ages of people, when one knows to value the one next to them. Restrictions were made to limit the usage and not for complete abolishing.

If you try to look back, a lot of sportsbooks before that never open betting lines for esports are actually now offering esports betting. And it won't be a surprise if more sportsbooks and casinos do the same as more esports enthusiasts enter the world of online betting.
Due to demand and popularity that esports is gaining then theres no doubt that bookies would consider to add up these events.Esports is becoming big
yet we know that these online games becomes popular and there are lots of players who do compete on each country just like on typical physical sports.
Im a dota and cs go player for some years and been following and betting to it on nitrogen.

This is a good example of a beginner's guide and I think every casino should have a section of help , I mean a very detailed guide like the article in this thread would help a lot.

It would help a lot when this guide in sport betting if it does what others don't and that is to explain in a detailed fashion the betting lines, like over/under , asian handicap , european handicap and the rest of less known bets, everyone knows what moneyline is but not everyone knows what asian handicap is.

I think there are many players of MOBA games CS Go, etc.. that can relate with your guide even though they are not gambling and just playing the games, I really think we should take a minute in reading it first before pursuing your bet on Esports, And There are many things to research first before anything else and not like on Esports that you will just need to know the skills, endurance, And the character of the player, in short, you just need to know both players, While in Esports had a wide range of research that you need to take.

I like that beginners guide to esports betting you posted. Since, this was discussed. I want to suggests some teams in League of Legends. In North America LCS, you should try to focus more on
  • Team Liquid
  • TSM;
  • and C9
In Korea Server, you should vote more on:
  • SKT T1
  • Griffin
Those teams are competitive teams for me participating in different regions.

Thank you for sharing. I watch the DotA movie on the site. I feel that DotA is like a Warcraft which I already played in the past and I think it's almost similar to DotA.

Dota is the forefather of the Dota 2 which is in the Esport gambling site.

But I never tried to play esports betting before so I think I need to learn first about how to place the bet so if someday, I want to try to play DotA, I know what I will do.

It is quite easy to bet actually you just need to pick a team that you think will in the match.

Nice guide! As for a few extra resources available on teams and players for some esports games, Liquipedia (click for link) has a great deal of information on past and future tournaments for a whole lot of esports but primarily CS:GO and Dota 2, for tournaments both small and big. HLTV (click for link) is my personal favorite resource for CS:GO as the site provides individual pages for matches in various tournaments and in-depth information on any CS:GO team, as well as a timetable for future matches. Nothing's better than HLTV for CS:GO.
This is the place on where i do hang out when it comes to Dota 2.It has all the necessary informations you do seek or needed of which can really be used on your esports bets.

@OP, thanks for the share up but as far as i remember this site had been spammed out by some of users already.

Every time I do Esports betting I always do money line and props bet.

The money line is much easier to win, though the odds on some popular team battling against each other is quite low.

Props bet is much harder as it based on luck since its hard to predict who will gain the first 10 kills etc. But the reward here is quite good in my opinion.
