what do you mean with 'aged' coins? does it make a difference for how long i have my coins? So it wouldn't work to send for example 0.01BTC between two wallets without a loss?

Thank you for the information

The fee /is/ supposed to be optional, currently it is not on certain transactions. It is entirely possible to send 'aged' coins in such a small transaction for free.

i just wanted to see how sending works in practice. And more impotent how the receiving looks like and what information do have on a local wallet and on a online wallet. Or what happens if you try to send something when the partner is offline. Such basic things. I though 0.01BTC would be enough for everything. But if you really have every time to pay fee, it would be to expensive.
So sorry, and if anyone has the rights, he can delete this Thread. Smiley

Ooo,

so every time you send something you have to pay a fee of 0.01 BTC?
I didn't know I have though they are voluntary.

you won't be able to send such a small amount without paying a transfer fee (which is .01btc lol) and you cannot transfer recently received funds without a transfer fee either

Hello,
I am really fascinated of this idea of Bitcoins, but I would like to try it by myself. I have already two different wallets and I would like to experiment a little bit whit them. What I need are just 0.01 BTC, so I would be very grateful for a donation. If you want i can send them back after a few days. Just write a pm.
