All 9 users on my trust list are very good at the Turkish local forum and provide useful content. ...  All 9 users on my trust list are people who offer really useful content.

In theory:

You should add users who left accurate feedback and have good Trust lists to your Trust list, and you should exclude users who leave inaccurate feedback.

The fact that these users provide useful content should be rewarded by giving them merits, not by including them in your trust list.

Just so you know it, as it seems you didn't know it.

Another thing is that not everyone uses the trust system as they shoud.

Hello everyone.  The way I see it, there are a few question marks about my trust list.  Being the first DT1 feels good, but I didn't cheat at all.  All 9 users on my trust list are very good at the Turkish local forum and provide useful content.  Also, I don't know any of the users with the nicknames peloso, funchiestz, thandie, s0nix, BountyDetective, osmanucal and cryptoinfal who added me to their trust list.  I also don't know why they added me to their trust list.  I also did not investigate why users who received negative notifications received it.  All 9 users on my trust list are people who offer really useful content.  Other than that, I don't know how the algorithm chooses me as DT1 even though I chose 9 people instead of 10.  Maybe there is an error.  Maybe there will be an update on this.  Thank you everyone, these are the explanations.
Thanks for confirming that you have 9 users in your trust list. However, this thread isn't about your reputation. It’s about the possible bug or rules I'm not really aware of. If it was about an user (in this case you), I would definitely post it in reputation board.

Both 'DefaultTrust' and 'OldScammerTag' are actual accounts in the forum database, so any algorithm that checks for a number of accounts will take these accounts into consideration.
Until , I assumed theymos made an exception to remove those accounts from the weekly Trust data dumps. But it's simpler: the accounts haven't made any posts, and Trust-relations from accounts with zero posts are already excluded.

Quote
I think the 'OldScammerTag' is likely obsolete at this point, although I am unsure if it is appropriate to outright delete the account (along with the associated ratings with the account).
OldScammerTag left a lot of negative feedback. Deleting it won't do any good.

The algorithm will need to be updated to exclude these two "accounts" or a decision needs to be made that including as few as 8 accounts is acceptable if these two are included in one's trust list.
I guess that decision was made already. DT1 requires to include 10 users, it doesn't matter much that my Trust list viewer can't show all of them.

If a user adds 10 Brand New accounts to his Trust list, he can reach DT1 while having 0 inclusions shown on my Trust list viewer.

RaltcoinsB has 9 people added into their trust list. How was he eligible for being a DT1 member? Is this a bug or something I'm not aware of?
My theory is they added DefaultTrust, which isn't included in theymos' weekly data dumps. So it doesn't show up in my Trust list viewer, but it might still count to be eligible for DT1-selection.
My next theory is it could also work with 8 visible inclusions, if the user also adds OldScammerTag.

This is likely the case. I just changed my trust settings to view RaltcoinsB's trust list in 'real time' and this person includes 9 'people' along with the 'DefaultTrust' account.

Both 'DefaultTrust' and 'OldScammerTag' are actual accounts in the forum database, so any algorithm that checks for a number of accounts will take these accounts into consideration.

it was my surprise that someone is eligible for being a DT1 member but have never sent a single feedback.
It is worrying that enough people don't care about the very simple rule: "List the users who you trust to have good trust ratings and good trust lists" and put one of their local board members on DT1 without having any idea how they'd use that power. Nationalism shouldn't be a reason to include a user.

This is not included on the requirements of being on DT anymore.

But based on DT voting[1], he was trusted only by EFS and that makes him a DT1. While it is mentioned that it should be at least two trusting you.
Ooof, i was confused, he was trusted by bobita and Vispilio who has lots of negative feedback.

- You must have at least 2 people directly trusting you with an earned merit of at least 250, not including merit you yourself sent. These "votes" are limited.

As you can see, to be eligible for being a DT1 member, you must have 10 users in your trust list, and of course not including the users you distrusted.

It is curious what you say, let's see if theymos or someone clarifies the 9 apparent bug.

Aside from the feedback, I looked at the people who trust him and more than half have negative and/or neutral feedback of negative spirit. One with a flag. It doesn't give a very good feeling, to be honest.

- Your trust list must include at least 10 users, not including ~distrust entries.

Theymos reshuffled DT1.
