If you want to create one, go ahead, but it will not be easy as there are plenty of similar and established sites out there. For example, Crypto-net and Themerkle, they do have a lot of articles and other content on the site, so you may take them for references.

I recommend you to collaborate with other writers/people with similar startup interest to make it easier^. I personally like 99Bitcoins also as they have lots of educational videos which helped me, so you can look towards that too. I'd be happy to provide feedback if your site is successful, wish you luck!
You are right there are lots of blogsite which do focused on crypto and other related things just as you mentioned Cryptonews do already have that and I do really read some news regarding on the current happenings on crypto land.Creating a new blog wont really be bad but it would be a tough way for you depending on how you gonna attract traffic on the site. There are lots of references about cryptocurrencies.

Blogs are good. I have one project ( beginning ) about criptocoins in portuguese and one about mobile.
This media are good to have some revenue and to create a network with professionals and your public.
The best thing to start your project Is to discover a good microniche within this niche.
And map the weaknesses of your competitors and deliver content that deliver this to your reader.

By the way the 99bitcoins authors have a course on Udemy about this ( https://www.udemy.com/bitcoin-affiliate-mastery-for-online-business-success/ )

Yes, it's an amazing idea. I have a blog too on everything money related and there is a recent surge in traffic because of the rise in price of every altcoin.
Write about various coins and how to get them, ICO's, etc.
Can I know what your blog is? And what site did you make it with?

I want to start a blog too, as I got awesome ideas on what I could post, but I'm not sure what I should use to make my website...

Anyways, can I have a link? You can PM it to me too, if you want Smiley

Hi! Interested in a collaboration? I'm an experienced web developer so I'll set up the blog including all the domain and hosting charges etc. And you can write on it, we can share the profit. PM me if you are interested.

It's really impossible to give a black-and-white answer to this question.

You have blogs like 99bitcoins which are blatantly monetised to death with sponsorships, as you can clearly see from all the recommendations and reviews that they give as well as the ads all over the page and their Bitcoin faucet.  But despite all this, they're quite respected in the Bitcoin community and they have an alexa rank of about 14,000 (and under 5,000 in the US).

It's all about a few factors:

-Whether you can stick to it for long enough to build up a fanbase before trying to cover it in too many ads or sponsorships.
-Whether you can afford to hire several decent writers as well as yourself.
-Whether you can handle Google Adsense being bastards.

Good points you mentioned, I'll keep them in mind. Thanks

Cryptocoin blog is a very good idea and it shall attract wide readers if you can do some seo but it shall take a good and regular contents before people can decide to bookmark it.

You will need to always be current as far as the cryptocoin news is concern bringing fresh and trending news events to your readers and that could make them to bookmark your blog.

Yeah, people will definitely read it if its interesting enough to them and includes all the latest information about a desired crypto coin or on the topic of crypto-currency as a whole. For me the most important kind of news are the ones which analyse a coin's development and price levels. Latest news on the topics of ICO's are also in the trend nowdays so you could add in that as well. One thing to note is do not copy content of other websites as much as possible. Write your own unique content with good proficiency about the topic. Good luck Wink

I'm thinking of creating a crypto blog. Do you think its a good idea?
If yes, what sort of topics would interest you to read on a crypto blog? What would make you bookmark it or subscribe to it?
