That kind of scam is really not new. Scammers have been using that method of exploiting the "lesser-informed" people in the cryptocurrency space, specifically people who join airdrops.
If you use commonsense then you can avoid these kind of traps. Collect the information to prove your statement and update the topic. A few days ago, a post on my post caught my attention. The writing was one of the projects I participated in the past. "Please send us your private key so we can send you your tokens, your wallet will be sent after the conformity check". Never consider notifications from such projects. A common technique used by fraudulent projects lately.
