Boosting how much you make may sound like you are promoting a ponzi scheme to them, at least to those who doesn't know about bitcoin yet.
Every country I guess has different level of exposure in crypto, I just happen to belong in a country where bitcoin is not yet popular, so I would just keep my mouth shut and let them ask me and I'll answer, it's just hard to win against the majority.

Right, it is okay to educate people about bitcoin and the benefits but I don’t boasting is necessary because if you boast some may think it is good to be true and may think its some kind of scam or whatever. In our country it is not that adopted by people but I can see interest on those who ask its just that they have other priorities in life.

Bitcoin coin is very volatile and the course is exponentially rising and falling. But it is worth noting that history really does repeat itself and every 2-3 years someone will grow rich quickly and someone will lose money. Therefore, the reaction of people who do not understand the question is so nervous. They do not like to be disappointed in their beliefs.

Because of the enormous price bitcoin price reached people directly think it as a Ponzi scheme. I mean it's too good to be true according to normal human beings who were being slaved to the banking and governments. and of course, letting them know what they missed is the best thing because we are the one who took all the insulting because we tried to make them aware of the cryptocurrency world at a very young stage.

to really make money on crypto you need to do it very seriously, as if it's your job or successfully invest and sell at the right time
I agree, the essential point is patience and education. Smiley

Point taken, I don't like to tell people I own bitcoins. Though I'm betting most people working in middle management positions aren't exactly the type to wrench attack people. They're probably more likely to go home and buy some coins.

Regardless if the risk you're taking is very low, it's still a risk not worth taking though, as you really gain nothing from it in the first place. While the person itself isn't likely to do the attacking, we really don't know. There's a possibility of that middle management employee gossiping what you did to other people with significantly lower positions. Yea, definitely unlikely, but still not worth the risk.

I think they would just assume we are in some kind of networking stuff that we may take the upper hand because of we have invested earlier than they have. May this kind of approach would work for some managers who are desperately in dire need of money, hearing big profits with just a small a amount of time would drive them crazy to invest in Bitcoin.

Its like picking a fight. Grin

They know you are trying to make them look silly for working fair but not earning much. They will try to convince them selves you are a scammer since most of the news coming out in the media about BTC are scam. Those who are not into crypto won't find a way to learn blockchain until you give them some coins to hold and I think Libra will trigger that inner voice of them.

this is a great way to make your self look like an arrogant douche and also a great way to who ever you talk to avoid bitcoin. it's great if you want to talk to someone about bitcoin but if you're just doing it to make yourself feel like your above him/her because you earn a lot more money than them through bitcoin. then I suggest you just keep it to yourself.

4) Observe his reaction and frustation.

if you do that to me you will also see my frustration because all i would see is yet another person who thinks of bitcoin the currency as a milking cow that is only there to magically give him more "fiat" profit...

Ehh while it may be funny to do this to a person you know, I definitely wouldn't personally do this, especially step #3. That's definitely one way to get hit with the $5 wrench attack[1]. Completely unnecessary if you ask me, as it's a lose-lose situation.

1) Ask anyone you know at a middle management position, what he thinks of Bitcoin.

2) Ask him if he knows what the price is today.

3) Tell him the actual price and how you made tons of money this year.

4) Observe his reaction and frustation.

*This action can be repeated every 2-3 years and you can also give the middle finger to the person that probably doesn't deserve having a manager position (can be repeated every 2-3 years as well).

My guy lost his cool and his smugface instanly changed to angry (without any provocation) Was so funny. He also thought that the price was 2000 USD!  Grin Grin Grin
