A child is born as a babygrows up to be a full grown man or woman ,change is constant, nobody remains a baby forever, The newbie's of today will later grow in status to become top members with patience and consistency, putting more efforts ,redefining and improving write up and contributions.
Yes one do get tired and exhausted, please take some time off, rest and come back another time to continue then put more efforts.
Many people serve as mentor to alot of us here,we do not mention it to you doesnt mean you aren't ,we just do not want to tell you and letting it get to you by distracting you .

Keep up with the good work you do ,you do not know who and who is watching, looking up to you.

What you do is the right thing. Even those that give the investment advices always put a disclaimer that it is not an investment advice, that one need to do his own research.
Such grudge do exist in real. There was a close guy of mine who lured me into a ponzi scheme costed in sheep clothing. I didn't know. I trusted the guy and invested $2000. Not knowing that the guy only invested $50 and reap me off 15% referral of my $2000 and withing 2 weeks he made about $10,000 and the scheme crashed while I was only able to get back $200 as a return of investment. I didn't act as if something happened to me, I forgave him because he didn't rob me but the grudge is still in my mind. As my guy, I was expecting him to atleast reimburse me a little, but he didn't.

I figure that the urge to bet it all on one single new crypto asset was with the expectancy of yielding high and quick returns, alongside the fact that he liked the project itself. The outcome, steep as it may be, is a repeated pattern throughout the years, where people bet on a faulty horse (I’ve done that myself during my initial steps in crypto, often placing bets on the wrong horses).
 
That’s one of the main reasons I don’t like giving investment tips around my close environment: I don’t want to carry any burden if their bets end up going go south, even if they proceeded after receiving all the necessary warnings. These situations can lead to grudges which I can live without ...

Well, it's simple, I will give you a scenario, take for example, total amount in my savings is $200, I am interested in crypto and I've been following the market but nobody to show me how to invest, I found Luna on my own but don't know how to buy it, luckily, I meet someone who's willing to teach me every thing I need to know about crypto step by step, in the first two days of our meeting, he taught me how to convert my $200 usd to usdt, I did it successfully but then, usdt is a stable coin, am anxious to invest in Luna, so I asked my mentor how can I convert this usdt to Luna, my mentor asked me why Luna, I told him I like the project, he tried to convince me to buy some other altcoins but I refused, cus my mind was made up to buy Luna, he asked me to buy $100 worth of Luna and invest the remaining $100 in some other coin, but after seeing that $100 can not afford me 1 Luna coin, and I wanted to have 1 full Luna coin and above, so I insisted that I will invest everything in Luna, and when more money comes in, I will invest that in some other coin, so he said OK, and he showed me how to buy it, I bought it, I was happy because finally, I invested in my favorite project which I've been part of thier community for a very long time.

This is exactly what happened, I adviced him to diversify, but he refused, is his money, I believe I wasn't supposed to force him.
By the way, he is reading the comment, I believe he will comment if I lied.

Edit: the $200 used is just an example, he lost way more than that.

I read all the top posts. It sounds like a poem. But only a friend always tells their friend the truth. Tell a friend about the bad things that can happen to him when he makes friends with altcoins. That is exactly the truth, and many of those stories were not entirely joyful and successful. And also tell us about Bitcoin, what kind of swing he lived, and still remained at the top. There is no need to charm anyone with calls for cryptocurrencies. People should be old enough to draw conclusions about who and what to believe.

Basically I don't like to give motivation speech to anyone because people simply ignore it until they taste it on their own, we can leave it for reference so in future people may return and realize their mistake. Never give up in your goals but investing on a particular project can't be considered as a goal, the goal should be profits not obsession.

If your friend has done this, sorry, but either your mentoring is not good, either he's ignoring it.
One should never invest what he doesn't afford to lose, and even more, investing into a new altcoin?!

This phase shall pass surely but. Do people still put all their eggs in one basket these days? If someone was to ask me my answer obviously would have been NO, not until I had to read this thread.

Sorry my friend but learn not to put all you have in one investment no matter how promising it might look or how many years of good records it claims to own.

I hope this letter can help a lot of people too arr too depress with what happened with Luna. As far as I read the numbers of confirmed suicides based on this incident reached 22 already anf counting. Thats quite tragic for those people whom hit hard by the luna incident. I myself got hit, but I would never think to do such thing cause I know there are other chances for me and this act isnt acceptable for such grave mistakes. Money is important but our life is precious than that.

If I were to add a few more lines to your letter, I would say, "most of all, learn lessons and move forward. Know that there are thousands and thousands of coins. You don't have to put your eggs in one basket only. And, most of all, know that there is a reason for the number one coin out there to be the number one. It has been on that same spot since the beginning and it will most likely stay there for the rest of our lives. There are only 21 million of that coin and of the 7 billion people in the world only a few own some. It's not too late."

(NEVER GIVE UP) is depend on the situation for example you are investing for a short time and your project is good, legit and doing great and yOu already know that you can gain double on your capital and then there's no reason why you give up.
But if you have a doubt about that project or you have a doubt the person you trusted because of word of wisdom came from him/her but without any action and then it's better to give up and leave .

Firstly the person you mentored would probably be easier to reach via dm, and maybe start up their reply with would lead to an effective communication, that said Crypto-Currency is not all motivation no strategy, it’s a thing to tell the person you are mentoring not to give up but it’s also another thing to educate them on a strategy, many newbies are falling deeper into lose because of the words never give up, I would rather suggest if you are losing beyond what you can bear you pull out and count your lose. I really urge you to be practical with who you mentoring and not only hopeful words.

I hope people that lost to Luna will next time know that it is good to know that they are gambling with altcoins, next time, it would be better to convert to bitcoin once they earn from altcoins because altcoins are more volatile during bear market. Luna was a painful as it falled abruptly and significantly.

The Luna wave made me thinking how good was Luna before this predicament. Could Luna possibly be the then next to BTC?  There's no how someone will invest all his savings in a project like Luna.
Meanwhile a situation like this makes some people claim  victim of what didn't happen to them.
Well I see this is a bad period for everyone, if you are not caught in Luna, you will likely get caught in order coins
But it's better to get caught up in btc than to get caught up in altcoins.

Op I like your lines of advice and motivations

Yeah, life is actually a process we all must take one step at a time, and this is one concept everybody needs to understand, because even those at the top today were ones a beginner, so it's just a matter of time as long as you keep doing the right thing, you will surely arrive.
It is better to achieve a goal working on the right track than taking short cut that never last. So i advice everybody to always be proud of who or what ever rank they are on the forum, and interact with a clear mind, and growth shall come at it's due time.



This is the biggest shock in crypto and Luna holders, because i wonder how they must be feeling right now, because i myself can run mad seeing my $2000 turn to $150... O.M.G.

I could remember many people who had found pleasure investing on cryptocurrencies the suddenly surge high with a speed of light not minding same could yield a reverse result when its about to crash, this is all because of the believe that bitcoin is a dulling coin that has no quick or instant result as other altcoins, they invested and forgot that history will truly repeated it self and by then when the true identity is revealed it would have been too late because it will fall from high down to the bottom and sink below the ground.

Wouldn't it be better to maintain a patience with the king of crypto (bitcoin) than eating a hot food in rush for appetite and getting the mouth burnt. i think many should have a clearer understanding of cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular by now, why is because some are regretting already while others were investing the more on bitcoin.

How can one possibly invest all they have worked for in a project like Luna, that is basically inviting trouble for yourself, to look at it from another angle, investing all you have into any project whatsoever is breaking the rule of thumb of not investing more that you can afford to lose, which is also another mistake for users who went contrary to that.

This has been reiterated times without number, many of this altcoins are pump and dump/short term coins, and you have to really be careful with them, take profit once you get them, as a matter of fact if you do not have any plans of attempting to get rich quick, then you should avoid them completely and invest with Bitcoin, the thing is Bitcoin is a long term project that requires patience, so you must eliminate any thought of a get-rich-quick scheme. What makes Bitcoin a whole lot different is that you can be certain that despite any correction phase/plunge, sooner or later it will rise back up, the same can't be said for most altcoins, quite a lot of them dump, and that is the end of it.

Never you envy anyone, because not everyone walking fast has an appointment.
Don't under value your dreams because of people with quick, but little success.
Corn 🌽 will always give a quick harvest than cocoa, but at the end, the harvest of cocoa will be greater than that of corn, good things takes time, please take note of this and be patient with yourself.
Don't rush, don't compare, you might not have money today, and the little you have, you might have lost in a wrong investment, but I tell you today to keep focus, don't you ever see yourself as the worst being, and don't you ever think you are cursed.. No no, don't, I tell you that with patience, you shall be celebrated.
