Sorry I was unable to assist you in your need. I have no issue taking accounts as collateral, but they are not worth as much as they used to be. If you are ready to lock this thread, all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom left of the thread and click lock topic link. Good luck in the future.

Your account is not worth anywhere near that for collateral. The value calculator yo uare looking at is an approximent value, but the real value is what you can buy one at at auction. Right now I can pick an account up like yours for about .028 BTC, so your account could be loaned for about .020-.025, depending on the lender. I will loan you .02 with your account as collateral. Let me know if interested.
That makes sense Leowonderful. That's not at all what my plan is but I get that it will be tough for me to get that size of a loan due to what everyone is saying.

It always bothers me when people take out a loan based on their collateral value, rather than the amount they need. It's almost as if they are looking to sell their account disguised as a loan.
Not at all, I wish I could use my virwox or ebay account for collateral as I actually need the money to pay my Amazon Store card payment

I know my bitcointalk account isn't worth much but I noticed Virwox level 3 accounts being sold for around 60 dollars. I really like to use Virwox when I have paypal and don't want to sell it. I would like to get a loan though and was wondering if anyone would accept this as collateral. Thanks.
virwox or any other account that can be easily recovered is not considered to be a valid collateral. do you have any altcoin ? if yes then you can use it as collateral. btw, i think that you can also use your account as collateral because of the fact that you are a potential hero member. but it will depend upon the amount that you need. just my 2 cents!agree you have a good standing account why not use it as collateral.

If Bitcointalk accounts are considered as valid collateral It's simply because It's possible to proof that you got it as a loan and you can verify and sign signature.
Unlike Virwox.com , where you can simply contact the support and claim that your account got hacked which they will most likely recover it for you.
