I dont know if MEW already has a mobile app but if nothing like that exist, then i think its about time the developers develop something like that for easy use. Guys what do you think

Why do you need an app for MEW?

Just open the MEW website on your phone, you don't even need an app for it. With an app you won't be able to see much of the code behind it and you will probably end up getting scammed or hacked by third party developers pretending to be MEW. At least the real MEW website has an HTTPS certificate which can guarantee safety.

I don't use their app when I'm accessing my eth funds on MEW so I don't have any experience to share but I've searched that they have MEWconnect app[1].

[1] https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myetherwallet.mewconnect
[1] https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mewconnect/id1391097156

Yes, right. This is one of the MEW mobile applications.

I dont know if MEW already has a mobile app but if nothing like that exist, then i think its about time the developers develop something like that for easy use. Guys what do you think

At first glance I've used it. But for basic keys it is not like MEW in general. But use phrese recovery or 24 words, dan accompanied by a login password. If you lose phrese recovery, you cannot log in to your MEW account. That is, you will lose assets. In this case it is the same as ImToken. If you have used ImToken, then you will understand MEWconnect.

I have never made a transaction using a cellphone, what else do I use other applications, I am still careful because it is my asset and always use MEW https://www.myetherwallet.com/ to be more secure.

And there is no problem if they have not yet created MEW APP. As long as we access the correct url of myetherwallet, then it is fine. And the new features of it makes it more easg for us to access it. Security is more important here though I understand you want an easy and fast access with MEW so OP is asking about the app. Maybe, they are still in the proccess of making it and will consider so many things before creating one.

Trust wallet works perfect for me in trying to access Myetherwallet account, it used to be Imtoken but Trusted is so preferred. But at certain times I use the web link directly but I have to clear all cookies and ensure I am using the correct url to avoid hacking of my private key

I don't think there's an app from mew, but we'll, you are right, they should look into building an app like imtoken, trust wallet and others
I prefer imtoken, I have been using it for a long time, there are no problems I have experienced so far and the transaction costs can be changed as you wish and it is very practical to be able to make transactions anywhere because it is attached to the cellphone that I hold everyday

They of course have a mobile app for Android and iOS users but to be honest with you, haven't tired it out yet But I use other erc20 apps for managing my portfolio
Yes. They do have in iOS but now you cannot create new wallet in mobile applications, they will suggest you to make it in desktop but still you can access your existing wallet in their mobile application and check your balance or make transactions.

I think they have an app. Mewconnect or something like that. However I am not sure how it works. I think you can only use it to access wallets opened using the app. You cannot import your already existing mew wallet to the app

If you read previous posts, it has been said over and over that there's MEWConnect that you can use via your mobile. Haven't tried that one yet as I'm using the desktop version of MEW.

Finally a mobile app. Do you know what does it mean? The end of phishing!
Do you remember the last phishing attack on Myetherwallet? A lot of people still asking how it is possible.

Myetherwallet is only available on the website version, it doesn't have an application
If you want a mobile application for the ETH wallet, and can use imToken 2.0 or Trust Wallet, I use both of them for the mobile application
myetherwallet has an application on a smartphone, you can look for it on the myetherwallet site, the application name is mewconnect indeed besides using it,you can use trustwallet I mew user for mobile wallet, I use trustwallet.

MEW connect does a really great job but it should have alternative options for storing the Ethereum in cold wallet type offline phones. Imotoken application was my first choice until I discovered the new Myetherwallet app. It doesn't make sense have a ton of security steps for opening hot ETH wallet for daily use.

MEW Connect is awesome. It is like a ledger with your phone. It makes you feel much safer having a physical thing that is attached to your account knowing it must also be taken to gain access. So people online cannot gain access and almost all attacks are online. It is not as if you will tell everyone you know in person your wallet is on your phone and even if you did they still need other details to gain access if they even know what mew connect is in the first place. They just need to add multiple accounts support, then there is more risk but that is on the user.

As far as I know, it's available in the PlayStore, please check through the official website: https://mewconnect.myetherwallet.com. And so far I have never downloaded a wallet on my smartphone because I still doubt it in terms of security.

I think for the popular mobile wallet imToken, my friends use this wallet on average. You can check it on the official site too: https://token.im/

I have never used MEWconnec, I think it's very risky to use it on mobile. I prefer to use the MEW web wallet so far everything is smooth and without any problems.

Equally, in smartphones it is very risky for problems to occur, especially if our cellphone is lost and forgets to back it up. On smartphones it is also easier to insert malware because of the lack of a security system.

I think they already developed the mobile wallet version.
If you try to login in myetherwallet website, it has option for MEWConnect.
Click it, and you will see a link to download the mobile wallet of myetherwallet in playstore for Android, or appstore for Apple.

I think this is very easy to use and more practical than having to open a PC / laptop if you want to make a transaction. but I think there must be a good security side too, because this is risking the assets of many people and if the security side is good many people might switch to mobile phones.
Maybe MEW on Mobile is for an alternative if we want to make an impromptu transaction. I have opened MEWconnect on Mobile and indeed the security is still good. But my recommendation, but doing transactions on your personal computer for security is even better.
MEWConnect and Desktop MEW is basically the same security-wise. Both have the same exact features even though I haven't yet to use the hardware wallet through my Android but it seems that MEWConnect be able to just do what the desktop wallet could do.

Myetherwallet has the MEW Connect app, this app helps to secure your Myetherwallet account. I tried the Mewconnect app and the experience was pretty good. It is like the online hardware wallet. Without MEWConnect you can't access your account, like the Trust wallet.

As far as I know mew has already a mobile apps or what do we call the MEWconnect, well they must improve their mobile apps and many things need to be fix I still like MEW on browser it was easy to understand and I think it was hard to hack for now unlike before that you are just using your private key to enter.

You can use it. Because Myetherwallet's MEWconnect app is very good and convenient to use. It is like the online hardware wallet as they promised! I have tried once and it was really cool! Though I hate MEW but I appreciate their app! If you can't buy the ledger or trezor hardware wallet then metamask or MEWConnect should be in your priority!

How do you expect a project as big as MEW not to have mobile application, when other projects that are not even as big as them are having? They have their mobile wallet, just that it is lying down there as a camouflage, and at least for the record that they have a mobile application.

I can see that not many people have any need for it and even me here as not thought it for once to go download the application because I have not really seen anything that will push me into downloading it, so if you are really in need of it, you can just visit the play store to get it there, but I dint think it is really necessary.

I am not 100% certain, but I believe that they have a mobile app, I think the best way to check if they have an app or not is to check it out on play store or itunes store, though you have to confirm from the website also to see if there is any link to download the app because a lot of hackers could be smart enough in building a phishing app of myetherwallet just to scam people off their money, though that is unlikely because every app is being subjected to review.

From my side, I still prefer direct use real hardware wallet to protect crypto assets, smartphone really unsafe do to that.

Well there are many who don't want to pay for a hardware wallet so this only helps them. TBH both of them are but in case of smartphone it is heavier since we carry it all the time and chances of getting stolen are pretty likely. In case of hardware wallets, there are vulnerabilities which if is not found before someone who have malicious intent then it could lead to higher damage. Well most of the times it gets fixed on time but still risk is there.

There is an app but not mobile wallet. It's called MEWCONNECT  which helps in connecting easily to desktop wallet. There are other wallets you can use for ethereum standard tokens like imtoken.

MEWCONNECT works like a "hardware wallet", you'll need it to interface with your fund when using MEW website.
If you won't be buying a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor, MEWCONNECT is a good alternative for adding more security to your Eth and Eth tokens.

I'm sticking with computers, I think wallet operations should be done on pc, was abit skeptical with the android overlay permission thing that might somehow capture your actions, at least I do clean PC installation with a clean network to access all these data, the only thing I think is feasible is simply use a read only API key to access portfolio, not into any wallets that could expose your private key

App for storing the ETH, ERC20 tokens is not safe and convenient. Buying a nano ledger or keepkey is a good deal than holding the life savings on the simple application. Myetherwallet is not safe wallet due to non-offline features. Ledger Nano is only 60 EUR on the market and always buy from the authorized resellers due to security issues.

even if application for myetherwallet is exist i doubt that i will use it. i am afraid that cellphones can be hacked. do not know how about now but earlier mobile security was weaker.
Not that cellphone is prone to hacking but instead any smartphone is really easy to be lost. I just don't have the urge to save any wallet on my phones, however if people like it there's nothing wrong with that, since privkey will be at your own hand to protect or probably encrypt.

Oh it will be very cool if we had a mew wallet mobile app. I think it will be very useful, because personal computer have less level of safety.
Actually, mobile phone virus has grown significantly although most of them are just ads and popups malware so basically the same as saving on personal computer but personal computer could be secured furthermore and if you want the fullest security it's always personal computer with hardware wallet

The mobile app is not secure enough to hold the ETH and tokens in the Android system in my opinion. I believe that IOS is more secure compared to leaks of Android operation system but having an online wallet is not a good idea for cryptocurrencies.

why do you want to use MEW on mobile? because in my opinion in mobile application there are still many wallet to store ETH and altcoin ERC-20 that are better and easier than MEW, one of which is Eidoo wallet, because in my opinion Eidoo wallet is very easy and safe to be used as store ETH and altcoin ERC-20 on mobile (I have proven it myself by using Eidoo Wallet).

I did not need to use it, but the mobile app is available. I have no idea about security, but it can be handy if it is obtained from a secure source. Anyway, I recommend always be careful about your safety.

I think using a mobile application is more complicated, I prefer to use the features on the website using a PC that is easier to make transactions, but I think everyone has a different opinion when using MEW.
I don't use mobile apps just because of the principle.I don't trust android.I don't trust anyone.))).MEW is better to use on PC.But if anyone has a desire then of course you can use a smartphone.I have never used this service.

I don't know either Grin Because I don't use their apps in my mobile apps. I still use their web to access my MEW account. I don't want to use their apps because I don't feel comfortable to use MEW account on my mobile. Maybe I still think about their security for the mobile apps because they need to secure their apps so what they got with the website will happen in the mobile apps too.

I have never used mobile App for MEW.
If I need to send ETH from my phone, I do it using a browser (Google Chrome) and MEW.

I don't use their app when I'm accessing my eth funds on MEW so I don't have any experience to share but I've searched that they have MEWconnect app[1].

[1] https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myetherwallet.mewconnect
[1] https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mewconnect/id1391097156

Yes, MewConnect is the only official application that MEW had launched. Any application other than that are likely traps laid out to steal your information.

But I think MewConnect requires to be connected to MEW through desktop to work. (haven't tried yet but seems like it from the guide: https://kb.myetherwallet.com/posts/mewconnect/mewconnect-user-guide/)
Thanks for adding those info so OP that's their official app that you've been looking for. Follow the details that were given to the instructions on that link so that your MEWconnect app will be connected to your MEW accounts. As said, don't ever download anything on the web that looks like the MEWconnect and just download both android and iOS app on respective links.

I don't see the point for MEW to release its wallet on a mobile platform. They are already quite a lot in the app stores. Instead, they improve their platform and they are good at it.
If you are following the discussion, there's already an app for both iOS and android.

I did not need to use it, but the mobile app is available. I have no idea about security, but it can be handy if it is obtained from a secure source. Anyway, I recommend always be careful about your safety.

I think using a mobile application is more complicated, I prefer to use the features on the website using a PC that is easier to make transactions, but I think everyone has a different opinion when using MEW.

but I agree more with you that using a mobile application is indeed more complicated and uncomfortable. This is what I feel. if accessing using a PC feels more comfortable, safe and easy. I suggest you use a PC because it is more comfortable and safe in accessing the MEW Site.

Yes, it's still need to find a computer to connect https://mewconnect.myetherwallet.com/#/, according their introduction page, "MEWconnect stores your private keys safely in a local, isolated, and secure vault on your device to protect your account", so it's "hardware wallet" without hardware.

I don't think many people use this MEWconnet. Because most people use MEW on the web or through computers and laptops. Because each transaction certainly cannot be done carelessly. And for security it seems that cellular and Web both have good security.

The MEW application is already available in the app store ... I have downloaded it but it hasn't been used yet. Maybe developers want to make it easier for Android users to access Eth Wallet.
For now I'm accessing the eth wallet on the website and metamask. Maybe later.

It seems like MEW already has a mobile application called MEW Connect. I have downloaded it for a long time, but I have never used it because I prefer to do transactions on the webetheretet web only. Maybe it's used to using the web version compared to applications on mobile.

Just checked out the MEWconnect. Never knew they have a mobile wallet. It's interesting they use Two Step Verification which has been shown to be hackable. I wouldn't advise Op to store lots of fund on it

MEW has a mobile app, link in the above comments, i like to add, Mobile apps have the advantage of being faster and more efficient, but they do require the user to regularly download updates, but I use the Web apps because it is update automatically.

I have been used the mobile wallet ethereum for Android. Thats named imToken. This app is very simple for using and have some features that you need, like for transfers and receives your token. But about the fee, i think with this app you will use mucher your ethereum for the transaction process.

I think there are many app you can't import your myetherwallet to, if they will have any app they would have released it since, i don't think mew have such plan.

I can import my wallet to most popular wallet applications today, not knowing which application you can't log into? And I recommend that you use common wallet apps to protect your assets

For the MEW application that can be used in a cellular smartphone I also haven't searched for it and indeed needs to be developed, but the etherscan application is already in the playstore, and for my personal smartphone device I use the imtoken and etherscan applications, because both applications really help my performance in working on crypto.

I am more comfortable using MEW via a computer, even though it's already on a mobile application. Security features are very important in accessing. I use the mobile application only to access exchanges. Because it's easier and simpler without having to open it via a computer.

Is it necessary? IMO launching MEW from mobile browser is just fine and runs smoothly as well. Wonder why you are asking so?

In general, the team has long taken care of this. Yes, a lot of projects have made their own crypto wallet. So you do not have to use MEW. In a telephone device, a cryptocurrency wallet on a mobile phone is still too dangerous. But this is only in my opinion.
