What do you think about a self improving DAO?
How do you ensure that the member are staying loyal to the organization, and what does the organization actually try to solve so that every member should have a reason to stay? In another hand, in what way does the capacity building for the member is effective toward reaching the goals of self-improving "DAO"? Why should this DAO be the reason to reach your mission instead of just simply a community where the community encourages each other to reach their full potential of themselves?
Focusing on the internal things, as what you have said, seems too broad that the actual goals of the DAO creation itself are kind of meaningless to reach.
Great questions, I will try to be as specific as possible to reduce on the broadness confusion.
To put it simply, encouragement is great, but actual helpful advise is better. Now why would anyone be motivated longterm to provide actual helpful advise in a competition predicated DAO? Statistically after the hype stage, motivation is directed towards "there can only be one" competition.
On the other hand, if one member finds he/she can improve another member's output (whatever it is: digital art, code, etc) with his/her knowledge or actions and first member can also invest in second member's token, now they both benefit from the improvement.
Why stay in the DAO?
If you are a creator, you are exposed to investors motivated to help you improve your creations and you are in a DAO motivated to create the infrastructure necessary for your growth.
If you are an investor, you are exposed to creators and can easily track their progress and accomplishments.
Either way the DAO is motivated to maximise every member's skillset for the sake of maximising their token's price.
Whats the goal of the DAO?
In a problem solving paradigm the question is valid, however take a look at existing DAOs, their goals have been achieved long ago, and they are stuck with maintenance or doomed to death. This is precisely because initial goal was strictly determined by an external idea.
Instead the meta goal of self improvement provides an infinite abundance of goals, on any time scale (short, medium, long). The challenge is in prioritising goals to optimise DAO growth according to member's visions and abilities as opposed to finding a solution to a particular problem.
ex. At this stage the goal would be mapping members' skills and creating a platform for interaction, but immediately after it's done, the goal would shift to tailoring the platform to best suit the skills of the members and maximise monetisation of each member.
Hope this answers your questions, sorry if I made it even more confusing. Don't hesitate to point if I did.
