With this idea i totally disagree not because i dont want to have a new coin but because of the reason that there are so many kinds of coins and competing with any kind of coins may be too risky but if you are willing to sacrifice time and effort it can work but not instantly, for me just invest and invest more on bitcoins the mother of bitcoins and some alt coins, because you will see the results after every campaign and earn cash instantly instead of creating new coin with minimum possibility of success, and that is my opinioj, my suggestion. The last decision will be yours not mine

Well yeah as others say there are projects being there on the idea..... I dont think there will be one single winner, we never know which side you will land when you have your product ready...

On another note, there are multiple decentralized internet projects out there.... eg., MAID when they hit mainnet I guess the apps or sites in today's internet will not be compatible with them and there will need to be some tweak to make the site up and running.... explore the opportunities in those area if you are serious

Hello there, I had this idea yesterday while on the toilet, of making a website where everyone could sell their own goods online, digital or physical, and get payed in "Nespo" (as I called it) by the buyer. Something like ebay but for crypto. Dont know if something like this exists already.

It might be a stupid idea but its been rolling in my head for the last day. What do you think?
The idea is good, but it's still fun at what moment it came to your head. Walk more often to the toilet

What is the value added of your idea? What are you doing that has not done before? How it will disrupt the marketplace? Why someone would care to buy your coin? Those are the kind of questions you'll need to answer to yourself.

I think it's not that great as you think. There are a lot of websites which you can trade online with goods and stuffs and some are accepting bitcoins as a payment or any other coins (not sure). Your idea is something like that where the buyer will use the token known as "Nespo" to purchase an item but the thing is they won't and will continue to stick with popular and much wider accepted cryptocurrency like Bitcoin.
I agree, the idea doesn't sound even close to be original. There are many platforms and markets which accept cryptocurrencies as a payment. In dark web, at least. And I saw one website where it was possible to buy cookies and other bakery products for btc.
I think the OP lacks originality on this matter.
OP, you should first explore the existing projects, decide whether you need a coin, a token or adopt some existing coin.

Crypto aims to decentralise the world of finance and the world in general. So what you are saying is that there shouldnt be another online store cause for example ebay exists.. thats utterly off. I agree there should be a variety but if we take that logic, facebook should have never been cause there was myspace. If you come up with a good idea and slowly develop it to the point that it does something better than the competition, I dont see why we should limit that and say "oh, it already exists, better not get on that field". I get your point as I said that there needs to be variety and I agree with you. But as crypto gets more widespread, 2-3 online stores wont be enough.

This has been done on both centralized and decentralized platforms.  For example Etheriya, Bitbay, etc.

Of course competitors are always good.  First mover advantage doesn't always work out if someone else builds something a lot better.

I have the feeling though that if you did not know about these other contenders and were unable to do the tiniest bit of research which would have answered your own question then you are far from ready to even begin developing your idea.

And it really isn't that radical.  It is more common sense.

in my opinion what had to be created has already been for many ICOS, what remains is to improve ideas or believe in this idea, if it is good mobility and speed, will succeed

You should do something else. There are way too many online store ICOs already. I don't think your would make much impact unless it is unique/ingenious.

Every sphere of our life is already tokenized, there are many ICOs with the same idea. I think it's time when not only idea, but good and quality realisation will be in price.

This idea has been realized in BitBay. Launched in 2014 and is still actively developed. The product is already ready, unlike competitors.
