First you need 2 pcie power splitter and the 009s riser is good, they had 2 led indicator 12v and 3.3v, keep in mind power splitter only max for 200w, and put on psu biggest cable, above 200w you got burned the cable, either you splitter or pcie psu

200w per splitter only ?!? That means I can only safely use a splitter to power two risers only not a riser and a gpu Huh

!....

Yes you can use. But make sure 1molex to 1 riser.

I guess that's fine since I got plenty of these...

That's some awesome info, thanks a lot for sharing, I guess a riser needs 75 watts only ? So this mean molex cable is OK to.power up a riser ?...

You mean six pin molex cable? Its way better than the sata to 6pin that follows the riser, if you look careful the 6pin molex has stronger wires than the cheap sata to 6pin cable

I was referring to the normal molex cable 4 pin I believe

The riser is safe, it's same with what I'm using presently just make sure you don't draw power from the sata cable that come with the riser cos they are bad and can't handle high watt power, it can melt or even start fire
