I guess I don't have to explain it to you, because of the neutral tag you have. You obviously know this territory.
He is certainly one of the shills or an Alt account of a shill... That's why he is trying to be defensive about OP's act.

Why would they do this when they are one of the top exchange already? Is it cheaper than placing ads on Meta or Google.
Perhaps trying to surpass the likes of Binance and OKX?  Grin
But really the route, they took will only have negative effects. I don't think I can trust a service that goes to such lengths just to "advertise" themselves.

Unfortunately, the kind of information you're sharing is kind of misleading. When did Bitget become a new player in the Crypto app ranking when the exchange was launched in 2018, the title obviously is a clickbait we are not newbies here and we have uncovered a lot of shilling methods.
Its surprising that Bitget management, if Bitget really hired you, resorts to shilling when they can launch a signature campaign to establish their reputation here.
They don't care at all if they are spreading misinformation or not. All they care about is making various posts in different crypto related forums/communities where they will take screenshots that they can post in the Bitget discord channel in order to get paid

Check this out;

Checking on these topics, the Discord invite is still open, and there are thousands of members. If these numbers will do massive shills for Bitget, then we can consider them the biggest shills in the cryptocurrency exchange industry. They want different ways of branding their exchange, so they resort to this.
Why would they do this when they are one of the top exchange already? Is it cheaper than placing ads on Meta or Google.

Hi. I believe we should be more accommodating as forum members and not be aggressive towards people that just joined. And from what Ive read OP isn't imposing. He/she is just sharing informations found on Twitter. If users are skeptical of anything positive, I'm not sure their downloads would skyrocket. I believe, if you use a platform, you're entitled to share information about them freely just like you do on your profile via signature campaigns.. have a good day buddy..
I didn't write anything aggressively against the OP, I'm just stating that a shill for a service often brings the opposite effect on this forum. Mostly because it is quite obvious that the user who writes such things does not know the service or has used it, but pretends to be and gives positive recommendations.

Just by looking at OP's post history. I can already smell a rat that he is up to no good here. Just trying to shill for a few bucks. I saw their shilling campaign instruction on discord. Also, those downloads and usage statistics could all be exaggerated as they could have promised users rewards for some tasks
You sound like you have a personal problem with exchanges or even bitget , when did sharing of informations I tagged useful become a problem? Been here reading updates and decided to share one and you tagging my effort has paid ? Smh

Because we are tired of users coming around here and just shill the shit out of an exchange or a service they don't even use. We all know your missions around here. Nothing genuine at all and perhaps you are carrying out the same pathetic behaviour in other forums too

Tell me you are not the same person who made these posts.

When a shill goes into aggressive territory, it has the opposite effect, and that's exactly what's happening with Bitget. Not only on the Bitcointalk forum. The attempt to impose Bitget as a popular wallet is exactly that, so users are rightly sceptical of everything positive that is said about them.

I clicked on the link that you have on your list above and I saw Bitget wallet. Bitget wallet is not a new wallet at all. It was created in 2018.
Don't be surprised, Bitget has had a shilling campaign on the forum for a long time, there is also a discussion about it Innovative Bitget Shilling [Compliation]
The statistics presented are quite amateurish, I don't know how exchanges like Binance or even this Bitget with Metamask can be classified in the same category. To present any exchanges as wallets is quite wrong.

I clicked on the link that you have on your list above and I saw Bitget wallet. Bitget wallet is not a new wallet at all. It was created in 2018. The reason many people are using it now is because it is supporting almost all cryptocurrencies that people need. Even it is having bitcoin lightning wallet. I have downloaded it before and saw that I did not see a coin that the wallet is not supporting. But the down side is that it is a close source wallet which is the reason I can not use it.

Been a closed source wallet doesn't really matter in as much as security and safety of assets/funds is guaranteed. There are many other closed source wallets like Atomic wallet, Exodus, ZenGo and many others. Even Trust wallet is partially closed source. But like you said they've got varieties of tokens which I find it as a plus to them

Its really on the preference of the user, I stopped using Exodus because of its close source and support's delayed response, Bitget popularity has skyrocketed lately because of its massive marketing and the fact that many Telegram games developers included it as one of the exchange where they can transfer their shares of the airdrops, but they still need to work a lot to overcome Binance, as the number one Crypto app, so we'll see in the coming months if they can do that.

The crypto wallet space has been changing rapidly. While MetaMask and Trust Wallet have long been the go-to options, another player surged to the second spot in September, amassing nearly 6 million downloads.
https://x.com/CryptoRank_io/status/1846497965625467232?t=L4Tbo7kiu3yneLtxfbFlEw&s=19

It’s interesting to see this growth, especially considering that many users are wary of exchange wallets. But with over 40 million users and its user base doubling in just six months, something is clearly driving this adoption. This rapid rise puts it in a strong position to challenge the bigger names soon. It makes me wonder what’s behind this shift.
