Islam is a false religion, yet there are a billion of those vermin who think otherwise.  Shows how much rank stupidity there is in the world.  Unfortunately, jihadists are the true Muslims.  Islam was violent from the beginning.  They have never known peace, don't want it and shouldn't get anything but war.  Read anything by Robert Spencer if you think otherwise.  Fully documented
This deserves an answer.  I believe my take on the matter is that religions were/art sort of "groups of cultural traditions" which maximize survival possibilities.  Hence, they say things like no pork, maximize baby production so as to get the most footsoldiers and farmers, etc.  In most such groups there are sections that call for and justify war and actions of war.  These lie latent until conditions require they be focused on, then they are.

The existence of such things in religions of today is expected because they survived to today.

I do not think these comments refute yours, maybe they stand alongside of yours.  Regardless, I have worked with various guys who grew up in the Muslim tradition, no idea if they took the stuff seriously - I suspect no more than most of us do ours.  They were stand up guys.

I do not personally follow the teachings of Islam but I would not 100% say that it is a false religion. It is something that a lot of people believe in and that is fine, as long as they do not try to impose it on me.

There is not concrete proof that any religion is actually "true" but rather people must believe in it.

Most religions just take advantage of gullible nature of human. This is nothing new and is not limited to Muslim.

I'll applaud your rational view, WHEN AND ONLY WHEN I SEE A FATWA AGAINST EVERY LAST MEMBER OF ISIS AND BOKO HARAM, declared by prominent members of the Islamic clergy.

Until then, every last Muslim owns these creeps.

There have been plenty of muslim leaders/scholars denouncing ISIS:

http://www.arabamericannews.com/news/news/id_9262/Muslim-scholars-denounce-Islamic-State,-Israel-at-press-conference.html

The Imams Council of the Michigan Muslim Community Council (MMCC) condemned the continuing atrocities committed against religious minorities across Iraq and Syria by the Islamic State.

http://iqra.ca/2014/manitoba-muslims-denounce-isis/

We, the undersigned Muslim leaders in Winnipeg, unconditionally declare the actions of ISIS against the Iraqi Christians and Yazidis an affront to our faith, and we forcefully condemn any attempts by ISIS to associate their heinous crimes to Islam and to our prophetic tradition.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/08/02/Indonesian-Muslim-Leaders-Condemn-ISIS-The-Public-Have-to-be-Critical

More Muslims are speaking out against the Islamic State (IS), formerly known as ISIS. Two Muslim leaders in Indonesia condemned the group and those who support it, while the Supreme Religious Authority in Iraq asked the world to help the country fight the jihadists.

http://www.freep.com/article/20140825/NEWS05/308250218/Muslim-Detroit-ISIS-criminals

Muslim leaders gathered Monday on the steps of Dearborn City Hall to strongly condemn ISIS, saying the militant group in Iraq and Syria doesn’t represent Islam or Muslims.
Let's SEE THAT FATWA or your linkies a bunch of crybabies!

Leading British Muslims issue fatwa condemning terror group:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/isis-terror-threat-leading-british-muslims-issue-fatwa-condemning-terror-group-9702042.html

"Muslim leaders have issued a fatwa condemning Islamic extremist group Isis, and have said that British jihadis are “betraying their own societies” by getting involved in the conflicts in Iraq and Syria.

The fatwa represents the British Muslim community’s strongest denunciation of Isis yet, calling the extremist group “heretical” and “an oppressive and tyrannical group.”

Sorry, but those wackos are using M4 and other American gear.
I understand what was the idea behind it, just it wasn't a bright idea.

To add injury to sorrow, now US and EU will supply weapons to the Kurdish... do they realise it can and most likely will backfire, don't they?

The goal is to let the enemies fight among themselves, then bribe the corrupted one and get him into position of power.

Once that is done, the legitimate regime will become a vassal state of the US.

Religion is based off the spiritual experiences of others.  Spirituality is based off your own experiences.

Religions have been hijacked by the power structure, long long ago.  They contaminate the truth with fallacious logic and sentiments of falsity, hate and derision.

Instead of looking to others for answers, look within yourself.  See for yourself.

I am an American and i would like to ask for an Explanation of the difference of ISIS Extremists killing people for Various reasons they deem right and the Normal Islamist let's say in Pakistan that Stones a woman to death for the "ACCUSATION" of adultery or marrying out of their Religion such as a Christian?

I know there are many Muslim Bitcoin users here and simply ask for an explanation as to how the Extremists ISIS and Regular Islamist see the difference as to how Stoning a Woman to death for Adultery is ok but condemn ISIS for attacks based on what they believe is ok?

Now just for the Record i'm not taking sides  because when i read about an Insane group of people Who dig a hole put a women in it and throw stones at her until she is dead because they accuse her of Adultery is just as insane as an ISIS member Beheading Syrians because they won't convert to Islam.

To me both Instances are insane. Both are Wrong. Both are Barbaric and even animals Do not have this behavior.

So can 1 Rational Muslim please Explain to me what is the difference between the way of thinking and how a God would deem this as normal behavior?

Yes i am Ignorant in this subject and that's why i'm posting. To learn and inform myself. Anyone?
You have a pretty good point.  Note that I've gone WAY out on a limb and suggested these guys needed to FAWTA down their own crazies.

All the Muslims I have personally known were good people and would not abide with any of this behavior.

Islam is pretty much violent, no doubt about it. I understand for some "shitlam" is a good name for Islam as a whole.
But within the violent madness, Islam has a set of rules, one abiding by such rules shouldn't be harmed or harassed. Those movements, like Boko or ISIS, simply have no rules at all. They say "convert" whether you are already a Muslim or not, they are a sect of violent Muslims more violent than usual, sort of the exact opposite of the Ahammadya, a sect of pacifist Muslims (who they cast all sort of Fatwas against, kill their members and destroy their mosques - like I said early, they are pretty strong... but just for the weak. Kind of those guys who beat women but run like hell and cry out loud if a man goes after them).

Tell you what, too.  Don't be fooled by this.  Ever try looking at the English of a major Middle Eastern news source, then at the Farsi or other native language?

Lots of time they say one thing in the English, the opposite in the actual paper.

Being study Islam for over a decade and even if I don't like it overall, I try to be focus and not fall into plain hate speech accusing Islam of every evil in the World.
Well then, it comes the time when I need to agree with general Muslims; ISIS and Boko Haram aren't Islam. They are way too radical even to the ways of the prophet, they are nothing but ignorant violent crackpots using the flag of Islam just because.
So I would propose to coin a new term to define this new Islamic-based non-sense, and that would be Shitlam, making ISIS and Boko Haram Shitlamic movements.

I have been "studying" islam for at least the past 16 years and I came to the same fitting name conclusion around 2001... Cool

I'd like to know why people seem to think the kurds are a bad choice? That said, considering how aggressive the U.S is to other nations who want to be independent of them I'm not surprised to see this kind of attitude amongst Americans.

An escalate of violence afterwards, as Kurds will attack Iraq to try to be independent.

I wouldn't expect much from Muslim clergy. They are used to be strong to the weak and weak to the strong... in this part they are side-by-side with ISIS and Boko Haram. Eventually they will piss up some stronger ones, but I would say rather wipe them now then let them believe they can actually achieve something.

About ISIS, USA is the first to blame here, by taken Saddam out and by helped them under the naive belief that an enemy of an enemy is a friend or an ally.

Rather than trace the chain of causality back and study it, attempting to understand it, why not stop a convenient point to where you can blame a convenient party?

That's what you've done.

The problem with saying "your not a real Muslim" is that religion is just a bunch of human ideas. The muslims I know laugh at the idea of someone starting a caliphate. It would be like me saying that I am your new pope-king. Bow down for I now rule all Christians worldwide!

Still, if he believes it. Who's to say it's not God's will?

LOL,,, believe me I know how it works.

I'm just saying "every last Muslim owns these creeps" as my opinion.

However I'm seriously serious saying I'd like to see a FATWA on them.  That would change my attitude about them, and make semi-heroes out of some of them.

Yes we are talking about men standing up and declaring FATWA and putting their own lives in possible danger.  Yes I am saying they are cowards to not do so.  Further that they are cowards and shame their own faith to not stand up and state what is clear blasphemy and a dangerous perversion of it.

But they won't.

Nonetheless, the religious leaders of Islam have this opportunity to right many wrongs, if just a little.

For the equal of a FATWA to have to be declared by the non-Muslim world says a lot, and should shame every true Muslim.

ISIS and Boko Haram are totally against the norms and pillars of Islam to the best of my knowledge. They are simply a group of misguided and blood thirsty trained military men who should have been discharged from duty following a repeated series of encounters or ordeals on the battlefeild. So, if a name is to be used to classify their form of religion i will say ''madlam''.

When it comes to Islam, there are only a few bad apples who commit terrorist acts.

Writing off an entire religion due to actions of a few fanatics is insanity.
No ducking and dodging responsibility here.  There is no writing off of an entire religion.  Confront this issue directly and deal with it.

I am again repeating.

Exactly. Arent pretty much all religions distorted and taken out of context to suit their own political agenda?

Not Islam. Islam isn't taken out of any context to be a terrorist system, Muhammad was a terrorist himself.
The issue about these movements, is that even being a terrorist system, Islam has a set of rules, but they run over those rules to manage to be even more violent than what Islam already is.

@johny08, nobody can live sitting on the fence. Eventually the situation will force you to pick a side.

Provoking guys with weapons is never good.

Let it be their problem. Also the USA had it civil war and Europe its religion wars.

Dont fire your coins for that man.

The word you're looking for is Islamism, it's Islam as a political ideology.

Exactly. Arent pretty much all religions distorted and taken out of context to suit their own political agenda? This militant or fundamentalist Islam is no different. Anyone with half a brain knows that this terrorism isn't what Islam is about to the other 99%.

You ought to hear the neocons on parade right now saying how this new Muslim Caliphate is being heeded by Muslims worldwide and that American cities are going to burn. It totally reminds me of all the hype leading into the last two major conflicts.

Being of a different ethnicity or religion is what political leaders have been using for centuries now to get otherwise rational people to kill each other, the basic warcry whenever they start up the propaganda is "They're different from us! So fuck the facts! Lets just go kill them" they're trying to build up the war propaganda for another invasion in the middle east, most likely Iran where they'll fabricate some convincing evidence that the largest percentage of Muslim terrorists are coming from countries like it.

No doubt there is some of Islam on those movements, but even for Islam (or Islamism) they are way too radical. Even from Al-Qaeda POV, these guys are nuts!

Should not forget some of the radical Islam are trained by the CIA. The world is just a chessboard for the US.

Bushism then?  Cheesy Grin Cheesy since we all know everything wrong in the world was his fault.. him and the JOOOOOOS  Grin Cheesy Grin
