Help the needy, do the little things others ignore
welcome to bitcointalk, im quite new here as well, though I registered a little while back.

I found crypto around march 2017, so Im just gonna say a tip i learnt the hard way,

Do research, learn about the market, and listen to those that are above you in the system.
Being in bitcointalk, be more of a listener, than a speaker, some people here have been on since the beginning.

Welcome.

I'm sorry that you started in December. That must mean you bought at the 19k height or thereabouts.

I would cheer up, because we're going to see a bull run in the next weeks or months. However, I'm not sure the BTC price will recover to 19k until maybe the summer or Fall.

I would stay in the main alts, preferably Ethereum as it still is the most promising of the alts.

If you're going to get into alts, I suggest doing solid research before buying.

Look for an alt with a good team with lots of experience. See how often they pump out updates. If they pump out weekly updates, that's a good sign the coin will see healthy movement and healthy price increase.

Stay away from coins that are hyped beyond their functionality. Those are usually red signs and they're prone to pumps and super dumps.
