Not so much, I had like ~ 0.07 BTC. The first platform I learned to trade with my friends was Cryptopia and the first coin was PIRL. Hence the interdependence between PIRL and Cryptopia. I sent the link to my friends and we're wondering how the bound process would take place.

I forgot it completely. About one year ago the PIRL coin was very good to mine. I used Cryptopia, because it held this currency for trading. After a while I used other platforms. Good to know now
Just curious to know, how much did you have in Cryptopia in BTC currency of course? I never heard about this PIRL coin though.

So, what do you think guys? How long do you think it takes until things get clearer? Is there a chance to recover the money, is the platform entitled to cover any losses? It's my first case
I am sorry to say that may be you will never get your coins back. Cryptopia was hacked several times and a lot of people lost their funds including me. You need to read this news:
https://www.coindesk.com/new-zealand-police-keeping-open-mind-on-cryptopia-hack
https://blockonomi.com/hackers-cashed-out-3-2-million-cryptopia-hack/

I wonder how you have not heard about it yet?

The first platform I used was Cryptopia because it had a lot of altcoins. I have some coins on this platform, not so valuable; but the fact is that when I access the site I see this:

"Important Announcement
14th January 2019, the Cryptopia Exchange suffered a security breach which resulted in significant losses. Once identified, the exchange was put into maintenance while we assessed damages.
Cryptopia has notified and is cooperating with the appropriate government agencies, including the NZ Police and High Tech Crimes Unit. Please see their media release below." and this http://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/investigation-involving-crypto-currency-company
