Hi,

I want to ask, is it legal to buy bitcoins talk account? senior and such.

if so, what are the warning signs that i need to search for?

Quite contradictory as it may sound but yes account buying is allowed here but you have to keep it secret otherwise you run a risk of getting red trust which will render your account useless as it could not participated in any signature campaign. We should either ban account selling completely or prevent it getting neg feedback

@ninjada
dont listen to the trolls. Everything on bitcointalk is about to scam, rub, accuse and take away. Better buy another account. Post from time to time with ninjada.

I recommend you have your own personal account you built from scratch.  Cool

No! It is not!

I recommend to get account with lowest ID, Nr1 is admin, some are gone and some are already sold.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=ACCOUNTNR

I could sell you one or another, open thread in appropriate place on this junk forum, maybe I will contact you.

I guess this is a discussion thread and not a thread to post regarding selling offers of an account. Also I would like to know how a lower ID makes an account unique? It might be old but still account value always is determined with current rank they have.

I also agree with ndnh. That is the better way to start in forum instead of buying it because in that way you can have a clean profile.

4. Community will look you down if you use bought account

Exactly. Most of the accounts are bought for the purpose to scam. There have been many scam attempts (some failed  and some caught their victims) that made it seem to most of the reputed members as bad practice and I also do feel the same.  I will not say " look you down" thing but they will certainly be having a "closer look on your posts and actions" and if they feel suspicious enough they will take up their guns.

It is totally legal to buy and sell Bitcoin accounts, no one is going to ban you/red trust you. Some people do not endorse buying and selling accounts and put red trust on accounts that are being sold, so if you ever think about selling the account, do not post the account username. And for buying, you are safe for sure and wont be red trusted or anything.

Yes you can buy account here. But I suggest you just create your own so you can enjoy more here. Just dont think about what you earn every week if you have higher account.

100% legal, but there's many risks such as :
1. Scammed by seller
2. Got account has negative reputation
3. Got hacked account
4. Community will look you down if you use bought account
5. Got account with bad history such as banned previously, conflict with other member or used to have negative reputation.

Damn......

so risky :/

Most of this risk can be removed with the use of escrow.
Also, ask them to post a merchant token from bctalkaccountpricer.info.

There are quite a few risks and it is frowned upon here and there are quite a few members that have several alts (alternative accounts).

So, if everything look legit, i need to change password, email, public key, and BTC address?

You need to change btc address, email address and password.
You have to ask for a signed message from the staked address. If you can buy the private key of the staked address then you may not have to change the btc address.
I would also recommend getting a signed message from a Bitcoin address staked over 3 months ago.

yes buying forum accounts is legal, but frowned upon by the community. if in any case you want to buy an account, be sure to check if there is signed message available from an old address the account has posted so you can be safe from "hacked account" case
