That's called Vardiff.

Higher difficulty shares have a proportional value, so the payout is the same, e.g. if you submit 100 shares at diff 100 or 50 shares at diff 200 your share of the block is the same.

Someone please explain, coz I probably just don't quite understand how it works (other than the pool jacking up the difficulty on me 'coz it see's me rockin' it
