Can you tell us specifically the purpose of setting up these polls? We might sort out things rather than asking random thoughts from the community since not all users obviously will participate in the poll.

I mean, people have different preferences and reasons why they are using a specific exchange. For example, Person A wants to trade on Binance but having difficulty to deposit there, therefore, they will use other gateways then will transfer to Binance later on. Another one, Person A wants to buy bitcoin with fiat so dealing with Localbitcoin might be the best method or using a local exchange and so on.....

Volume-wise, Binance is on the top. However,  they are a trading platform and not the usual exchange where buy and sell bitcoin is the main service.

Mostly I do buy crypto in binance which I find the exchange more popular than the other. You can also do research the top exchange was use and more secured in doing buying and selling. From the start of using binance, I haven't encountered any issues or problems in terms of deposit and withdrawal matters.

From my beginning in the cryptocurrency world, I buy cryptocurrencies on CoinDeal. This exchange is perfect for beginners because it's extra user-friendly. I don't plan to change my exchange, everything works pretty quick there. Haven't got any problems with this platform. Recently, they have also launched their mobile app.

well, my favt exchanges are Bittrex and Binance cuz they are top once also very reliable but sometimes I do use kucoin and yobit but i dont keep coins there for long..

I'd steer pretty far from an exchange with a non-existent provably fair casino.

I think crypto is the best place to invest in. And if anyone wants to exchange crypto on Binance. The Binance is the most reliable and reliable side to exchange. Here you will be able to invest a lot more easily and earn higher profits with less investment. It's like a lot of popular Bitcoin. There are also three more exchange sides.

Primarily on exchanges. My two favorites are Binance and crex24, although I do use some other exchanges like yobit every now and then, mainly for shitcoins and shithole s available only in particular exchanges.

Sometimes I trade hand to hand too, usually for people(friends and family)  that want to buy crypto without the hassle of registering on an exchange or whatever

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
For crypto to crypto transactions, I am using binance because of their low trading fee and better liquidity. But when comes to crypto to fiat and vice versa I am on localbitcoins because I am a pro trader there and can create my advertisement for my margin profits.

I mostly buy/exchange on Exchanges. Force of habit. Even if I know that some local exchanges have it a bit cheaper in terms of fees, because of me getting used to exchanges for quite some time now, I always use it no matter what. Most of the traders in the world use exchanges because it is a global trading type of thing and local exchanges are most of the time used when transacting low amounts or when exchanges are actually banned in the country they reside in. i honestly doubt this is the place to put the poll though. Or the poll itself is wrong? There are different circumstances for each trader after all.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Mostly peoeple here exchange in Binance which is number one on the top exchanges.

Why don't you just check it with your own here https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges or check it in CMC https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
Binance is a big one and a good choice, at the moment. That exchange does not require KYC with total max cap withdrawal from 2 BTC and below.
I have some notes for two market sites above:

Furthermore, when you choose an exchange, the must thing to do is looking at their customer supports. Both history and current support status. If supports of one exchange shows signals of changing from good supports in the past to worse supports recently, I do believe that you have to seriously consider not using that exchange. The kind of negative changes of supports does not equal to the probability that exchange will collapse or shutdown soon, but it is never a good signal. I see many exchanges change from good to bad supports, then weeks or months later they shut down their services or scam exited.

I generally do both, depends on the situation.
If I'm exchanging a large amount of crypto (say BTC) to another (say ETH) then I use Binance, the best exchange in my opinion.
But if the amount is small, to lower the fees or exchanging to fiat (say Payeer or PM) I use instant exchanges at the best rates from Bestchange.

If you are inquiring about exchanging/trading in general and not specifically bitcoins or fiat to cryptocurrency conversion, then the first option would be the most popular, with centralized exchanges being visited more, it provides more convenience and ease usually at the expense of privacy and also higher fees.
Local bitcoins are only used for fiat to bitcoin conversion and within wallets exchanging is not that popular.
I have not used the second option as yet so I don't know how user-friendly it is.

Without even having a poll I can guarantee that exchanges like Binance are the most used way of exchanging cryptocurrencies, based on the exchange volume alone. Buying bitcoin is a different thing though, most probably through either Coinbase or Localbitcoins.

I don't request loans~
Most would answer with exchanges. Even backwater countries have some form of way to access exchanges even if they have the said exchange banned. Most people whom use local exchanges are actually there to avoid the fees exchanges have, but they still do pay for them still. Most wallet trades actually come from whales where they trade huge volumes and avoid exchanges because of the possible fees they have to pay, though small transactions still could pass through these types.

Do you mean trading crypto? Or you mean buy crypto? Exchange means both. However, if you wanna buy crypto with with other crypto then likely you may use Binance. The advantage and disadvantages of trading on Binance is you can withdraw limited amount without KYC verification which is better than some other centralized exchanges. If you buy crypto with fiat (like credit or debit card) then Binance will ask you for KYC verification. If you are beginner on trading/exchange crypto currency then you might go with Binance rather than other exchange. When you will learned then you might go with other exchange as well.

I meant both Buy and Exchange, thanks for your note!

Never tested gemini and Coinbase is now asking for KYC before you can withdraw your crypto. You can exchange and trade in Binance without KYC but limited.
