I usually report posts that's inappropriately posted on a sub-board so I think I can help you out in here.

Bitcoin-related news, topics and insights goes into the Bitcoin Discussion board most of the time.
Cryptocurrency-related topics, announcements, discussions and the likes go into the Altcoin Discussion boards.

Since you focus mainly on cryptocurrency news--and I assume that you also cover bitcoin topics--you could just post it on the above-mentioned board when your topic falls on either of the two I've mentioned. It's pretty straightforward, though, and you don't need to sweat about where goes what on this forum.

Also, off-topic is pretty much off-topic. It's been voted to just remove the board completely but whatever, it's there.

Thank you for all of the information, I really appreciate it!

Thank you to everyone else who replied with helpful answers as well.

Hello, I am currently starting a Cryptocurrency News show over on YouTube.

I was wondering if there was a section for media posts? Or should I just post in the 'Off-Topic' section about it. Or maybe should I not be posting about it at all.

Please let me know the proper section for this kind of material, thanks!

If you want to announce your channel, you could post it to the general Bitcoin or the Services boards with the prefix "ANN" in front of the thread title.

For links to specific episodes, I'd use the board that best aligns with the topic of the episode. E.g., if the episode is about increasing mining difficulty, make the post about your thoughts and the link to the episode in a thread on the Mining board.

Will you be sharing your channel with all of us here?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you would be fine in posting on the "Bitcoin Discussion" subforum if your channel would be for bitcoin news in general. I'd personally contact an admin or a mod just to sure though.

Okay thank you, I will try to do that!

Off topic is not the correct place to post your video if I had a channel i'll put it on Economics or Bitcoin Discussion or Gambling or Altcoin Discussion depends on the topic you're covering. Before you start a thread try to put your topic on the search bar to see if there's an existing thread once there's no result then go post it. Can you share a sample here if possible?
