As a newbie I no dey hesitate to open any post wey I see newbie because I dey learn well well for this kind post.
Though copying someone else's work is something I really dislike, shame no go gree me do am sef.

Thank you senior men for the act of love y'all show us the newbies through post like this. I don finally know the meaning of PLAGIARISM. LOL, this forum dey sweet my belle because am learning everyday.

False charge ke. Others have been banned for such acts in the past. Those few line of words aren’t yours, it was a case of word spinning, it’s grace that moderators are lenient with plagiarism nowadays and yours flew under the radar if not it would have straight up ban. E dey good say you still dey here as them give you second chance to prove yourself. I understand your grievances but I make no apologies.

Still on still, you no do well na and even this your comment now no still make sense, since you are already been reported for plagiarism I no really see any reason why you no go put in more efforts to write your own posts organically instead of riding on another person efforts without acknowledging them.
-That kind of attitude may be permitted on Facebook or any other social media but is not permitted in this forum as we have zero tolerance for plagiarism,  so do take ammm seriously or blame another person for your own mistakes because the only way to learn from mistake na when you acknowledge say you make the mistake in the first place.
-So there is no defence you can put up here to justify your action.
-just man up and face it avoid using the abbreviation of just one character to portray a world that is likely unacceptable, since your reader may be able to decode what you mean.

@ Nwada001, you were also given plagiarism charge in meta. After I read OP list, I come take time read down and I see say your own side get comma. I know no why copy paste na the only option for people wey dey rush to rank up,when u fit use your head rank up for here. Take your time read people topic wey u won comment on and also read other people comments,if possible read two pages, from there when you see same reasoning from different people,e go tell you say is like na that one be the right one. If you won come comment by then you don get idea of what to say. If you no get any topic or knowledge on the thread leave am alone,must you post ? I beg make we try dey on clean sheet for this community.

Still on this topic of how we talk about newbies here who are plagiarizing and getting their accounts banned, another newbie just on our local board copied someone else's reply and commented just a few lines after the original commenter.

All they want is to rank up and even if someone rank up, without knowing the rules and regulation guiding the forums is still useless.

OP, really appreciate this ur concern wey u get for we newbies. Just that wetin dey cause this things be say we Nigerians, as soon as we get small updates we dey always think of the smartest possible ways available to us without checking about morality. And like una my seniors don talk we no dey read rules and regulations. I feel sorry for them though. I hope newbies like me won't make such mistakes.

Many newbies as you talk am no dey even care to go through the forum rules and guidelines so that dem go know the Koko for the forum pertaining the does and don'ts. E good as you don bring am here and also drop the links of the forum rules and guidelines for them to check it out, go through it and be guided according.

Who be the people wey dey bring this newbies come dis forum, dem no try if dem no inform this newbies say the act of plagiarism is highly punishable on the forum. But normally self this people supposed know say immediately you dey carry another person work as your own e no go well abi dem no do defense when dem been dey university. Plagiarism shouldn't be encouraged in any way and starting from today, any post wey just copy and paste link without any additional thoughts won't be merited by me and any newbies wey just dey come and create topics that are copied from other sources won't be rewarded as well.

Thank you OP for drawing our attention to this disturbing matters arising. It's a bad image to this board if numbers of banned users keep increasing and they're all due to plagiarism. It doesn't say good about us and that has to change. Abeg make we dey be our brothers keepers as well. Whenever you see any plagiarism, immediately info the person so dem go correct their ways. E no make sense say we dey lose members instead of having a steady increase.

Dis na very important message and update wey you don carry come our local board so, and I dey sure say dis go serve as guidance to the newbies wey we dey get for the forum. We want make our community large for the forum but we gatz take am easy not to implicate ourselves when trying to share an idea here for the forum.

Some of the plagiarism case na from ignorance and innocent stealing, so no even go read till carry content form outside to throw am for here. I go encourage our newbies make them Dey understand and read the rules.

Dis na good advice my broda, but e tire me why adult persin go dey do like pikin. Na secondary school I dey wey I don dey conscious of reading rules and regulations carefully b4 attempting anything. Na dis wisdom guide me till I get old. As I join dis forum, e take me 2 days to read all d possible rules and other things to know to understand, I no rush at all because if I don know them once, I don no dem forever, and na in dey guide me till today wey I no get problem for the forum.

The rate at which we are getting new commers in this our local board is encauraging, but e be like say our Newbies don they miss road for this forum.

I just they check the Local Board just now, and I see some of our newbies accounts were banned mostly due to plagiarism.
Our newbies don't care to know the rules guiding the forum, they just they post anything wey dem see on the internet which is very wrong.

These above list na people for this our local board, seeing the accounts banned I was like why, then I went to check further, I come see say na plagiarism dem do, na why I talk say make I share some quick reminder for our Newbies wey they here.
Plagiarism mean say make person go copy wetting another person don write the post am without making reference to the original person wey get the post. For this forum, make we try they make posts that we understand and we are sure we create them our selves; Plagiarism na very big crime for this forum, therefore we should always avoid it.

I know say e no they easy to build account for this forum, and because of that, nobody will be happy if their accounts get banned, therefore we should take our time and study the forum rules and strictly avoid Plagiarism.
