lol marty usually makes sense to me? anyways I'm going with the enterpoint quad spartan 6 boards. I put in an order for 24 of em  Grin I'm hoping I can probably get close to 30gh/s if the 300+ mh/s bitstream becomes available.

Lol, I bet if I smoked weed I would understand all that Smiley

One of the reasons I love Marty's posts. They dance just outside the firelight of sense and reason. If I stare hard enough, I can just about follow sometimes. You can't manufacture that. He's a born Dadaist who doesn't even know he's a poet.

And Marty, don't be offended. I mean every word seriously.
No offence taken! At all my brother!

I hope a few laughs are made at my expense, God Bless ya!  I am a true n00b...

Also, I dropped 2X's after the first junk shot!  The XXX was for a mystery PPS over 111%, but that concept wasn't explicit enough...ok, that was BS...but, it could have happened?

Sorry K, but with a name like AssPenny, this is the rightful place for unlucky amateur comedy hour!

So like, you only come hopping back on summer vacation, or what?

No, he's doing a 111% PPS pool - getting his ducks in a row. There aren't many prop pools left, eh marty? Wink
He was doing the same several months ago, and then suddenly disappeared.

This is his second go at running a proxy pool? There should be a club for people running proxy pools, called something like "Prop reamers" , or "Miner farmers".

Hey guys, What's up?  I was reading backwards and I was thinking "Keninishna is on vacation...and he is starting his second proxy pool?"  Grin

No, this is my first proxy pool and I am trying to do some vertical coaching.  Like "I'll send you some traffic if you will turn on your pool and just maybe - The Re-birth of Prop Minning!"  I can dust out my leasure suit  Tongue

I am like that guy banging on any rock in a dry gold mine!

There are some weird PPS rates and MergedM schemes out there, so I am trying to manipulate them all...really, I am just trying to keep interested in BTC...the good old days...'11

Vlad "the Impaired" was off by 6 months or so...  Prop Pools are a drying up!!!  Any-hoo, I am not a proxy pool that may hop, I have a wholesale operation with the Canadian's!  BTC is huge there and they pay a premium for my coins!  I have a huge mint near Lake of the Woods!

I am in it for the long rounds!  And I was not gone, just bugging people over on Droid RZR forums learning how to fix and then fu my phone!  I just started missing everyone over here...

Nope, still here, still mining, just slow as fuck. I'm getting a 25 gh/s fpga farm soonish so it should pick up the pool block finds by 10x. I probably haven't rebooted the server in a month, I'll get it back up tonight.

What hardware are you going with for the FPGA?  Looking to do the same!

I took merged mining down because namecoins are worthless and I have to program the pool front end to distribute namecoins. Just mine on the default port for now.

Lol sorry, I went to the datacenter today and tried to upgrade the ram but it only took 8 outta 16 gigs so now its running with 24 gigs. I'm not sure why it woulden't take the last two sticks, could be because I need buffered ecc ram? bad ram slots? idk. The pool and site are up now, i'm also working on merged mining again on port 8999, feel free to mine there I just haven't coded the payout yet.

tHE SITE IS DOWN!!!!!

MINE MINER IS ALL RED AND SAD.

How can i mine asspennies is the asspenny pool is down?Huh!!!?!?!?!?!?! this better be temp, or due to nuclear explosion or something.

I am working on getting merged mining going again. This time I have separated the shares in the database as you can see on the stats page. If you want you can mine on port 8999 however I have not programmed in the payout method yet but it will log all shares you submit in the meantime. Also merged mining isnt exactly stable I need to get a 4diff patch for bitcoind and I assume namecoind as well. More info later.

lol fubar on my part. The last 2 blocks were namecoin blocks and it reset the pool shares and paidout in btc. I know merged mining is working now lol but I have disabled it untill I can get it to separate the winning shares. I'll still payout anyones balance in btc if my pool owes you any money. If its not paying out wait 3 days for me to buy more btc. Embarrassed

I am starting to test merged mining. I have no payout method setup yet for NMC but I am thinking of trading any namecoins for btc to be added as a bonus onto btc blocks.

Can't you just imitate what's being done for the proportional code ?

Some updates, I have stopped using pushpoold and now only use poolserverj on port 8443 as its much more stable and is easier to use. I have also included the round sharecount in the stats page. I was thinking about adding a mtgox traderbot integrated into the site so you can pool your money with everyone else and make more money.

How?

by carefully countering the current bots trading strategies Tongue Right now the market looks shitty to me though.

Poolserverj pulls getworks from all these nodes in hopes that the random distribution of getworks increases variance and the chance of finding a block.

I thought it doesn't work that way.
Every submitted share should have the exactly same probability of solving the current block (1:some septillions, can't remember the exact number)

All external variables are irrelevant, like amount of previously submitted shares, when a getwork was obtained etc.
(There is probability as in poisson distribution, but there is zero certainty)

I have upgraded bitcoind and pushpoold so its much faster/stable now. As well I have implemented poolserverj! so you can now mine on port 8999. poolserverj so far has been much faster than pushpoold in giving and processing shares so it effectively increases everyones hashrate. Also something I've come up with is I've set up several bitcoind nodes around the world - Singapore, Tokyo, Ireland, east and west US. Poolserverj pulls getworks from all these nodes in hopes that the random distribution of getworks increases variance and the chance of finding a block. It probably won't help at all but I was bored and set up asspennies to take over the world! Tongue

Its not dead! just no one is mining there atm it goes from 0 gh/s to 30 gh/s. Also the pool sharecount is at 43% difficulty so according to hopper theory your shares at worth less then going to eligius. I'll continue to mine there when I get my miners going again.

0% fee
prop payout,
using simplecoin front end,
poolserverj backend,
on my own private server thats sitting in a datacenter in VA,
Low stales, 98% efficient,
Found first block with under 100k shares for an amazing payout, even though the pool is titled Keninishna's unlucky pool,
Best of all, if some one thinks they are better than you, more than likely they will have used a bitcoin that YOU mined from asspennypool.com  Cheesy
