Huh?? I really think you should look into your sense of reasoning and don't just come on someone thread and comment trash when you know you have nothing important to contribute... Thank you

Let's assume money is not involved in this and some developers can get interested in your little project which you term it as "billion dollars" project or maybe it does has a lot of potentials. but when you are involving others you have to expose your idea, maybe not the complete idea but you can still give our spoilers or maybe a short description of it which can help developers understand the difficulty. no offense but I do not believe there is anything left to make in a century where almost everything is available to every human being.

As most people have noted, no good and reliable developers will want to dive into a project that if it fails, their time and effort will not be rewarded. Even-though you don't want to disclose the project's details, I think you should have pegged down the type of programming language to be used. That will narrow down your search to any interested candidate. Wishing you all the best

The real reason people won't be interested in working with this guy would be probably because of choice words like these :


I find that arrogant, and when running a startup, or leading it you genuinely have to be a nice person to work with / for - those 5 words up there proves what a douche this guy can be.

thanks for the heads up mate , a few guys claiming to be devs have contacted me though, and just like you said, almost all of them are not ready to work for a little pay for the moment, but its ok , it not bad at all, i will just keep looking while i wait upon some of my investments to pay off which i believe will at least solve 60 to 70 percent of the money poblem

I'll tell you why good developers wouldn't work with you.

1. There is no source of income at the moment. Everything is on papers that is, nothing is guaranteed to work.
2. Good developers wouldn't want to invest time for anything. If the project doesn't work out for whatever reasons, they will not get paid for their time right?
3. You can always fire freelancers, pay them upfront or use an escrow if you really believe your idea will work.

Please always make "ONE POST" to answer all the members by using "INSERT QUOTE" function. Otherwise there are chances that mods will delete your posts or will ban you.

Anyway, I won't be saying anything else because peoples have their own preferences in regards to work... So its better to keep the matter for the applicants to decide.

thanks for reaching out with this question mate, to answer your question, in the beginning, I did be paying the developers but not to their taste, cus we will be working together towards conducting our STO which am already in discussion with a company that specializes in this, so after our STO, I did make sure our developers, programmers, designers and every other VIPs in the project start getting paid well because they are the backbone of the project and company

And as for your first comment, if you read through my post again, you realize I did say I don't want to talk and disclose the project details and ideas to the general public at this moment, any developer who's interested and want to know what we into should contact me and I will spell everything out to him or her, then he or she decides whether it's promising enough to have his or her attention and probably time.

I would never work for someone who could one day say "I don't know what happened.  God did it." and forgive himself/herself instantly.

In a "billion dollar" industry, you don't have the luxury of foolish beliefs.   

It looks like OP will not be paying anything in advance or escrow or as a salary.
According to the bold part below, it sounds like OP will pay the team after they raise enough cash. But he has asked the interested individuals to contact if they are interested in the project or not after knowing about it.

Still looking for a clear answer on this.

You'd find it more easy to get the attention from developers that you want if you included the details of what you're paying them. Once you do that, I'll add this to the jobs and request board that I run, or you can do that by yourself as well.

One piece of advice, no matter who you pick to work with, at least in the initial days, do not pay them a dime in advance. Have everything held in a trusted escrow here or on Bitrated.

First of all, my name is israel, i reside somewhere in ota of ogun state, Nigeria.

Ive been into the blockchain/crypto space for about 5 years now, though the journey has not been easy i must say, theres been a lot of ups and downs just like it is in every market and life itself, but it has been interesting though,at least, in terms of knowledge and whatever............

So let me go straight to the point as to why am writing this....based on my experience in the space, i felt its time to start my own blockchain/crypto company, am a very ambitious person with big dreams and my kind of person hardly fails, the IDEA is already set but that i can not disclose here...

So what am currently looking for here is a team who with there ideas, hardwork and dedication combined with mine, we can build a multi Billion dollars business empire that the whole world will recognize and look up to in terms of its services just like facebook is today(idea not related to facebook in anyway though)..

So heres the list.....

Blockchain/smart contract developers/experts
Web developers/programmers/designers
Graphics/info-graphics designers
Android/Ios app developers

we will be needing a lot more like community managers, lawyers and Advisors but this will be when we've reach a stage in the project ...
