Some years ago a newspaper in an American city was tweaking comments so they were visible to some people but not to others. People who made 'offensive' comments were not aware that the only people reading their comments were police.

This is going on now on some bitcoin news sites. I just noticed some comments are visible on one computer using one modem from one state, but not another computer using a modem from another state.

Unless you know your comments are visible, if you are making edgy comments you may be only making them to law enforcers.

People need to compare this case with cases involving offenses by law enforcers.

The guy in this case appears to be a non violent type who has a history of using marijuana. Most people I've known in that state have guns. He did not, though the police claim they found bullets in his house somewhere.

Monica Cedillo was a woman in Oakland who had some difficult times. She wanted better for her children and thought getting a job as a police dispatcher would bring some positive role models into her life.

The first Oakland police officer to fuck Monica's underage daughter treated her well. As did the second and the third and the fourth and the fifth.

Oakland police officers helped her daughter into a life of prostitution and drugs. They gave her tips to help her be successful as a prostitute and more and more cops fucked her.

In all about 30 police officers from Oakland and neighboring areas fucked the dispatcher's daughter.

Search on Google to find their punishment, then compare it to the punishment a libertarian Bitcoin enthusiast marijuana user will get.

Worth adding that in addition to the dozens of cops who had sex with the dispatchers daughter, there were perhaps hundreds of police officers who knew what was going on.

And not a single one of them said or did anything to stop it.

Not a single one.
