Thank you all for the reply.  No I do not and have never used bots.  I thought about using google or babelfish to write them in russian, but I was worried in would come across just as garbled as their responses!  Howver, at this point, I have nothing to lose!

If I were you I would possibly try to send your messages to them in russian (use translate.google.com), or at least have them respond to you in russian and you can translate that. Whenever I try to talk to them in english I get the most half assed, broken english, one sentence answer back. It is terrible.

Dear forum members,

I write to share my negative experience with btc-e, specifically how I am locked out of my account and unable to access my funds.  I have been a user for about 3 months without issue, however on 7/2 I attempted login as I normally do using my standard credentials which are stored in my browser, and was greeted with an "Invalid email" message.  I tried several times to re-enter the email and password with the same result.  At that point I attempted to change my password using the forgot password link.  This was successful, and the btc-e confirmation email showed up in the account without issue, this being the same email that the login system states is invalid.

I contacted btc-e support and opened tickets using their new helpdesk system.  The support team thus far has been absolutely useless.  Every so often, I get an indecipherable reply that makes no sense whatsoever.  This is ostensibly due to a language barrier.   It has been 72 hours and I am still locked out - with absolutely no help from btc-e support.  Please bear in mind that this is not a password issue, the system simply doesn't recognize my email address, the same address I have always used, and the same address where the change password emails were sent and successfully received.

I submit this to warn others so that they do not find themselves in this position with their coins/fiat currency stolen.  BTC-E is not a trustworthy trading platform.

Was I hacked?  Perhaps.  However it does not make sense then that i would still be able to change my password!

Good luck all.
