Stay away from mixers, I have a friend you lost some ETH when trying to use mixer, I don't even want to know if the mixer is real or not if you want to avoid track or tracing use dex exchange
Your conclusion is same as
- Don't invest in bitcoin because friend lost money by invest in PONZI scheme that use bitcoin as their tool.
- Don't trade on crypto exchange as my friend lost his crypto on a scam exchange.

Choose good tumblers and you will have bigger prob to be fine rather than to be scammed. Give your friend two topics and ask him to check any tumbler in the future.
There are some ETH mixers mentioned here, although you’d need to check each one mentioned in-depth to determine their trustworthiness: Ethereum (ETH) Mixer

Ofcourse, there are also scam/clone ETH mixers: [Be Aware]: Fake Ethereum and USDT Mixers

Most people here though will be more versed on bitcoin mixers: 2021 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites.

Some explorer tools can be use to connect ETH addresses and transactions, you should know it:
https://ethtective.com/
https://blockchain3d.info/how-to-use/: will support ETH soon.

Letter of guarantee give you evidence that you send your bitcoin to a correct address of a tumbler service. It can help you if you need support when a tumbler gets a technical error or temporary suspension of service.

You will get better support with your deposit if you save your letter of guarantee.

Tornado cash is the famous mixer I heard on ethereum but this was always used by scammers especially conducting defi presale and eventually rug.

For newbie you should be careful cause if ever you encounter a fake one then that's it. Even the legit mixers sometime have problems when operated make sure to follow the rules or your eth would goes to somewhere.

Firstly, I will never trust any ETH mixer tumbler provided if it not among the mixing company that has their ANN thread on this forum which will still give you the chance to at least report if any situation happens afterward.
Secondly, instead of using ETH mixer whose reputation is not sure (if good or not) why not make use of a decentralized exchange that requires just an email address deposit and send the ETH to your destination wallet.

Well, you might have your reasons for needing the services of a mixer but, should it be that, its not ultimately necessary that you should, its best you just do without it. Ethereum mixers aren't common on the forum and i can't recall or seem to have encountered any but then, if your looking to trusting any recommended one, i'll advise you go for the once running a signature campaign but, your investigation on them shouldn't be limited to that. Device a means that best suits you and evaluate them till your comfortable enough to transact.

Just be careful, there are more fake mixers than legit mixers. And there aren't many ETH mixer seems on the forum. I am not familiar with any reputed ETH mixers, so use it at your own risk whatever suggesting by other users. Always we have been seeing accusations against fake mixers. If you can find some other alternative way then it would be nice to clean your ETH. For example, you can exchange it for some other coins from Dex, then just buyback from other reputed centralized or decentralized exchanges.  It would cost you few extra fees, but you are almost safe.

There are some threads here where this topic have been dealt before : first thing that catches your eye is that you are entering a minefield, there are a lot of scam and pishing site trying to steal your Eth expecially now that its price skyrocketed. Those threads could also not be uptodate with latest "services".

Be extremely careful before sending your eth and DYOR

Here are some of them :

If you look through those threads, there are all sort scam/clone Mixers out there (a classical case is that of a look-alike with a similar url name to a legit one). You’d need to research thoroughly, and stick to those that have a proven track, besides understanding how they mix, what evidences the give you (i.e. letter of guarantee), what they track and for how long, fees, technique, etc.

I have come across https://bitcoinmix.org/eth before, but I have never used the service before, that means I am not recommending them at all because I have not experience about them and I have not seen anyone using them. I will better prefer to use mixers that are having campaigns on this forum, for ethereum I do not think there is one.

The best I can advice you that can help is to just use noncustodial exchange as third party on noncustodial wallet to convert the ethereum to monero and convert it back to ethereum. Cryptocurrencies transactions like monero can be be traced, making use of such will be good. But for bitcoin there are many recommended mixers to use.
