Hi
I have a question
yesterday I can't deposit or withdraw in forkdelta, and my balance leaves only 0.003 eth.
is it true if now want to withdraw or deposit in forkdelta must have minimum balance is 0.01 eth?

what amount of gas are you using? I think the limit is .005 eth that we should have on the wallet when the estimation gas is too large then the system will reject it if our balance is not sufficient to make 3x transaction,
1, do the send command on token and forkdelta contract
2, an exchange transaction with ETH on the order book
3, withdraw

therefore they have calculated the cost required for a trading activity, and compared with our wallet balance
However now the gas price should be put higher than normal and that is the reason why 0.003 is not enough anymore to withdraw from etherdelta. I think 0.005 also bit small better to have 0.01 minimum to make all transaction run well. Now in many decentralized etherium exchange need to increase the gas price to make the price confirm so please be ready with 0.01 eth.

Yes, we are required to that. That is done in order to be able to have ourselves covered while making a deposit. If you are still uncertain, you can do some online research and see the procedures to be hundred percent certain regarding this matter. This will clear the confusion.

I guess it make sense now that I can't withdraw the ETH I still have on forkdelta its just 0.009 ETH anyway, but since I might find myself in that exchagne later o, I just leave it there because maybe I can buy some more coins.

That 0.003 ETH is just too small but enough for you to make transactions there soon. I believe you are not leaving crypto so just let is stay there and keep your password and private key because like me, you might want to trade there later on.

Yes, they had this minimum limit in place for a while. IDEX exchange has even bigger minimum limit of .05 ETH. I guess they have to take into account the transaction gas costs that will seem high when transaction size is too small.

I am not sure how safe forkdelta is, but last year there were several hacks on Etherdelta and I am not going anywhere near these exchanges. Especially since Idex is around, it’s in a different league, user interface, speed and probably also more secure.
It didn't affected the main wallet of etherdelta and it can be considered as a safe place. The hacked case of ED caused by the hacker was hijacking the DNS and try to replace it with fake DNS that will bring those users to the fake site and I think it's still safe.

The forkdelta is also a very good medium of exchange for trading the crypto currency. But people should know the rules and regulations for using it.

ForkDelta is a decentralized crypto exchange that allows trading both Ether tokens and other crypto assets based on Ethereum with other users. The exchange is not regulated by a centralized authority for storing user funds and facilitating transactions.

no, at least in forkdelta there must be a minimum balance in accordance with the existing fee.
then it will be able to transact in it.

I guess it was due to congestion in eth network and the cost of each transaction was very high, hopefully the load of transactions on the eth network will ease soon so that the transaction and gas costs will reduce significantly.

As far as I know, forkdelta is a true decentralized system, so there's no need of minimum balance at all. But as every command requires gas money, it might need ether in a small amount.
