Here you got a lot of really good answers but my experience says that you need better work with your own strategy because only your experience make you better then you was yesterday! Of course team are very important what if you have a brilliant idea but bad team? Any project die with bad team!
White paper are very important because good idea with good team can make any project on TOP of best projects!
How viable is project - what I mean? How we can realize that idea in real life with in juristic field or in another fields etc

Please show me how to evaluate a new ICO code. Newspapers say a lot, but I want to learn more from your experiences. Tks all.

Try to use expert ratings. Something like that https://cyber.fund/radar.

For instant short term profit - I look at how much coins are available and how much are already raised/bought, I also look at the amount of people who bought or members in groups
For long term profit - I look at the above and how would the platform be applied in the real world.

it's always the same routine, you must analyze as follow:
-Team
-Advisor
-Prototype
-Whitepaper
-Vision
-Sale structure (most important, a reasonable hard cap)
-Scalability
then look also at:
-Web site quality
-Community

Some of the best ICOs going under the radar like SingularityNET for example. These kind of ICOs were not heavily advertised and hard to find. I suggest you to be active on Twitter, Telegram, Slack, Discord and other media channels to get a hint about the next hidden gem waiting to be found.

Do you mean the smart contract or the code of the project itself? If the project is open source then you will probably find it in github and the smart contract is open for everyone to check.

Newspapers? You still reading newspapers up to now? Its already outdated, we have Internet. LOL.  Grin

Maybe what you mean Whitepaper? Of course, from my experience this is the first thing that you need to read. You must understand what the project is all about, like it is a unique project? Who are the teams behind? What are their roadmap? How much is the token is? Whitepaper should answer this kind of question. Another tip is always stays on the forum and see other people's evaluation of the ICO that you wanted to invest. Because there a lot of experienced investors or Legendary members like Gleb Gamow.

Just used Google my friend, you will find a lot of websites that talks about any incoming ICO and there review on it. I doubt anyone will spoon feed you with all the information. Its better you do your homework as well.

You need to have some sort of set system that you follow, it starts with first finding ICOs you're interested in and then following certain steps until you can narrow it down to just a few. I prefer financial based ICOs so look for them first, then I discount any which I feel have unrealistic expectations etc, I check the overall feel for them in the community and then with the few I have left I read whitepapers to make the most informed decisions I can.

You could search ICOs on specific websites like icobench.com or icorating.com etc... They show an overview of the ICO in under exam.
But whitepapers are very important because they explain use cases for tokens, max cap, allocation and market researches about the industry that could implement the platform!
