If the new projects don't introduce anything new and effective in the market, that project will be considered as spam. Because DEV wants fresh money. I'm not sure what whitelisting is, projects operated in most regulated countries will ask for KYC because they do need to show the valid distribution of their tokens to the govt.
That's a point KYC should be good for every new project

Staying updated with a new project is whitelisting, you can easily get updates through your email you drop on the project's website and as for KYC it means KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER some new projects ask for KYC to keep regulations in place,if you want to join the project presale you have to do KYC,spam projects are fake projects that steals other projects white paper or contents
Can white paper also copied from other  project?  Shocked

We all do not know and understand, whether this project is scam or not, and certainly only the founding team of project knows whether it is scam or not. and regarding about kyc, it might be useful to recognize a user in detail and avoid forgery of data, maybe like this, the explanation.

Many of project have not to pass KYC so is it possible that it also good like other projects?

Hello there,
I have a lot of questions about any new project!
What do we see in the new project that we think that it is spam or a good project?
What is the difference between KYC and whitelisting?
Why some of the projects ask for KYC?
Why there is not KYC is some of the projects?
Why do people report that project that is new?
Is every new project made of is spam?
If they introduce or giving Bounty & Airdrop they said spam to it?

Recently I watched a new project they are giving Airdrop & Bounty and I also get that but people said it's spam without any confirmation Undecided
Is this right to do with any new project?

You must see through the community and the credibility of the developer and when it was having a lot of people on its community and it can be considered as legit bounty.

Whitelisting is the same as you have registered yourself in the list of people who will buy or participate in the crowdsale and KYC is a part of the whitelisting process.

Some projects ask KYC due to the regulations.

Some projects are not asking KYC caused by the country is not putting strict regulation to the projects.

People report new project to be listed on the crypto ico site.

that depends on the purpose of the project itself to be created by the developers

Those are saying if that was a spam think if that was a suspicious project.

1. Spam project is something that copies other´s ideas or profits from the idea of someone else.
2. KYC is an ID verification, whitelisting means that you would like to follow the progress and be informed of everything (you give them email and they will send you news about the project)
3. Because regulators are pushing crypto projects to do that.
4. Because they are really decentralized, you can´t arrest something that doesn´t exist or it is somewhere between 100 nodes.
5. Do not understand, sorry.
6. I think that you can answer yourself.
7. Oh I think that you do not know the diffrence between spam and scam..
