The only place you can (reliably) trade PayPal for BTC is #bitcoin-otc on Freenode.

Are there people known for doing this on there?  nicks'?

Check it again, I got burned last week buying a steam key for a game, after going through the dispute process they denied my claim without even asking for more information.  When i rang the support line I spent hours on the phone with paypal.  They were pretty adamant that they don't cover intangible items.

This is correct they dont support Intangible Items nor do they support "Money" to "Money" transfers.

Just to offer a little clarification the buyer protection offered by paypal doesn't cover intangible items.  So if you are using it to buy BTC they wont cover you at all

That is seller protection, not buyer protection.  You have great protection if you are buying bitcoins with Paypal as long as you don't send the payment as a gift.

Yes you can use VirWox to fund that account with Paypal immediately...then buy Linden dollars and then use those to buy Bitcons.  You an only do $65 initial funding though and takes 2 days to transfer the bitcoins out for the first withdrawl.

No. It is not allowed by paypal

Ida thought pazzlepizzle would be playing nice with virtual money, seeing as how they got their own bank, and eBay and all..  So weird.
