Tell me please who knows - as long as you create the transaction. more than an hour has passed, not yet created. Is that okay?
i'm about https://faucet.metamask.io/

Could you please be more clear in framing and explaining the question?  Huh

From what I have understood, let me try to answer this! Have you logged in to your metamask account? If you have done and requested the eth, then you need to wait for the transaction to get mined and to be available in your eth testnet wallet.

Are you requesting ether for mainnet wallet? If so, you won't be able to do so as this faucet provides you with testnet ether for testing and development purposes.

Some possible suggestions for you to receive the testnet ether successfully

[1] Click on the Metamask icon in top of browser
[2] Change the network to Ropsten network
[3] Click on Buy
[4] You will be redirected to the faucet website. Request 1 ether and you will be provided with txid.

You can use https://faucet.ropsten.be/ for some testnet ether. I do receive some ether from this site more often for testing purposes. If none of those ideas works out, send me your testnet addy I will send you some from my wallet.  Smiley
I receive ETH in some hours, thank you!
And i find faster faucet - https://faucet.ropsten.be/ (yes you right) :-)

@OP and everyone else reading this in the future that might need testnet coins, remember, its great to have a network where you can use and play around with worthless coins.

But remember that they are worthless, so when you're done testing, please return them to the faucet you took them from unless you plan on using them again Smiley I believe this is one of the main reasons why faucets have dried out, people tend to forget they can just send the coins back.

You can't rely on faucets since most of them are down.
I suggest you to start mining, you will get thousands of ether in few hours.
Or as you run a private blockchain, I suppose you can edit the genesis file "CustomGenesis.json" and allocate some ethers to your address.

You could better move this to Beginners&Help board rather than keeping up this topic in Tech Discussion board.

Some of the popular Btc testnet faucets :

[1] https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/ : You would be receiving 0.0002 BTC for each faucet request I guess
[2] https://testnet-faucet.mempool.co/
[3] http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

You can use ropsten network for testing out your wallet application

Eth faucet for Ropsten Network : https://faucet.ropsten.be/

Ethereum faucets don't give out much and most of them has been shut down over times. While I was coding a smart contract for learning purposes, I used ropsten network to generate my own ERC20 tokens.  Smiley

Sorry. Until now, I don't know about testnet faucet for Bitcoin and where to find it.
For Ethereum testnet faucet, you can try: https://faucet.metamask.io/, but you need to install MetaMask first.
