there's also probably corruption on btt: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10351626
tl;dr: mods usually don't remove offtopic/flood in spreadcoin topic (even when we are reporting about it) but remove any unwanted messages in darkcoin topic

The altcoin section is a mess (although it has improved since mprep took over but it is really more then what just one person can handle) and has been for a long time. Any report likely will take a long time to get handled.

This.

Announcements (Altcoins) is a jungle. You'd need three full time mods just to handle that board.
i think i found a solution for these problems. it would be just great if there was feature like "ban a user from own topic (move to read-only)" and second feature (optional): "possibility to moderate thread for multiply users". too bad this forum software doesn't have such features. this would save a lot of time for mods.

First off, 99% of the staff don't have an opinion of Alt Coins or the Alt Coin section. It exists here because Alt Coins/Cryptocurrencies are a common related topic to Bitcoin, and without the Alt Coin section, the Bitcoin designated sections would be spammed with Alt Coin threads. I'd be willing to stake a lot on the fact that no moderator is giving preferential treatment toward one coin or another.

Spam is deleted as fast as it can be, the volume of posts, especially in the Alt Coin section are staggering, so for every report that you have made, there are probably 100-200 others that need to be handled first. Statements like, "ps. i won't be surprised if the mods remove this topic without any warning." completely discredit you, as anyone who has been here for any amount of time knows that there isn't a single instance to back up that sort of claim.

Something you should note, most of your claims can be debunked with basic logic, next time perhaps think it over before you cry abuse, because frankly its tiring for the staff to respond to. Establish a causation for why Staff would censor Spreadcoin, and promote darkcoin, make a sound hypothesis, so there is a post with some sort of substance to respond to. As I said, first, the unwanted posts in your thread will stay there if they aren't breaking any rules, make a self moderated thread if you want to keep it how you want it. Second, as I said a moment ago, it takes time to get to valid reports, relax. And a very large point I'd like to raise, just because someone says, "Good Job Spreadcoin!" in a Spreadcoin thread, does not make it not spam. There is a trend, especially in new coin threads, where people start supporting coins just for the sheer amount of post volume it can give them disguised as being on topic/not spam. Account farmers in particular tend to find a new coin or two, and feign support just to get a few hundred posts in for their signature campaigns. So if a "$50000000 Spreadcoin Tomorrow!!!" post is deleted, its not to censor the topic, its not to hurt spreadcoin, its to get rid of spam.

*ps* actually read the topics and articles you post before posting them as evidence for baseless claims.

Most of this is very old "news" that is when it is actually news.

The rest is just people twisting facts in order to spin their agenda.

Although this thread is useless I doubt it will be deleted.
