If (A + 1) + B = C, which states are Alice (now a Bob) and Bob recognized as a legal couple according to the IRS?

Further, can Bob's biological son BobJr legally marry formally-Alice's biological son BobNotaJr if the latter is a first cousin of Bob twice removed? Bonus points awarded for putting this sentence into an algebraic equation.

I really dint get that. Please elaborate your problem.

I clicked on this thread because Algebra is my thing and I thought I'd help a guy out. Then, I read through that question at least 10 times before I gave up on it. Sad
