If its true, its a great news.
I think the time to know the truth that which countries had assisted him to start such a group has come.

I don't think that it is true. Even if Abu Bakr al Baghdadi is captured, he will be quickly eliminated by the American backed troops. Else, he will spill out secrets about the Clinton crime family's links with the ISIS.

Clinton's are not in power and even if he did say he's backed by the US who's gonna believe him? He's a terrorist.

People will believe him, if he could come up with the necessary proof. This could include details of bank transfers, phone calls, and weapons shipments. And another thing is that, although Hillary is not in power, she is still having a lot of influence.

It had been days since the Russians announced about his detention. So far no one has seen the relevant evidence. I think this is Russian fake, but even if it did it may not affect the combat capability of ISIS.

The problem with the ISIS is that they are able to replace their leaders very quickly. A few months back, everyone were thinking that the death of Abu Omar al-Shishani would weaken them militarily. But that didn't happened. By now, we know that the ISIS is a very decentralized organization, not much dependent on the leaders. Even if al Baghdadi is detained, someone else will replace him in a short duration.

You should ask these questions:

How could US-CIA not see and find out about millions and billions of dollars moving around and not inside the proper legitimate international channels?
They could fack 70M+ people by sanctioning(freezing assets)Iran accusing the government for building nukes, taking pictures of our asses even by satellites and observing every thing very carefully but they didn't see a large group of lunatics across 4-5 countries getting their hands on weapons, tanks, missiles and resources? how couldn't they see their bases all over the middle east?

Why do they have Islamic writings on their flags name of the Islam's prophet in Arabic and saying God is great in Arabic as well and cut women and children's throat on camera, killing hundreds of teenage boys simply because they refused to fight for them?

There is no where in Islam any mention of doing any of the things ISIS is doing, a Muslim knows not to kill another Muslim just because they're Shia.

A Muslim doesn't have any incentive for doing all of that because there are more greater prizes promised to them for feeding orphans or helping the poor or freeing slaves(it could be freeing people from prison those in for money and not crimes).

A Muslim knows that if God wanted to make people to submit and become Muslim or fight for God then He could've done it without any problem, so killing people just because they don't help you with your cause no matter how good it is, is not at all what expected of true Muslims, as ISIS decapitate men if they refuse to join their cause or if they're Shia.

All this Caliphate drama is a misinformation, all Shia Muslims do is respecting and following the teachings of Islam's prophet's 10 grandchildren and one son in law who is the father of those 10 Imams and the eleventh son(Imam)is to believe to be the savior of humanity that will fight with Satan and his army along side with Jesus Christ and he will kill Satan 7 years before the end of the world, now imagine Sunni people following and accepting the one who killed the daughter of their prophet and call him the Caliphate of Muslims instead Shia people know the son in law as the Caliphate and he is their first Imam and in total 12 Imams. and 8 or 9 all died by the hands of the same Sunni followers.
The Shia's third Imam was killed with all his family and some close friends all were only 72 people and they fought with an army of more than 3000 soldiers.

What I'm trying to say here is that none of ISIS people are actually Muslims just like Christians are not really Christians since they worship 3 gods and believe Jesus was the son of God.

Now you telling me that one little guy is responsible for a multi national terrorist organization and the all powerful and all seeing eye of the world aka US didn't see this coming and were unable to find and kill him on the spot?

It doesn't make any sense, but many people tend to believe whatever medias tell them and want them to believe.

I thought the exact whereabouts of the terrorist leader is still unknown and remains a mystery? Am I the only one not updated about it? LOL. It is said though that the Russian have arrested him, but they denied it. But I personally believed he is still alive and leading and still ordering the attacks along with his top lieutenants. And maybe still receiving private financing underground so that they can continue the war with US and other Western countries.

If this is true then it's certainly a victory for democracy and for the US
Unless there are facts shown also, it would really be a thing to celebrate for. I hope it is true

Abu Bakr al Baghdadi is just a puppet under the control of powerful persons. The real victory for democracy will occur when the people behind him and the creation of the ISIS are brought to face justice.

US troops have no love for the Clintons. I wouldn't count on that happening.

US troops are making what they are ordrered to do. And yet Hilary Clinton lost the election, all the administration that does not change at every election is still acquired to them.

In addition to Russian this info no one else confirmed. Do not be surprised if this is another Russian fake.
The russians too have denied this news.So it might be a fake news. But every one likes ISIS to be destroyed and peace to be retained.

Arresting Abu Bakr al-baghdadi is not the solution to terrorism. He is not the most dangerous man on earth he only have dangerous ideas. Some said is fake others said is real he has been arrested. This people ideology has to change as except that is done they will ever remains dangerous to the whole human race. Most of the leaders of IsIs are in custody but the ideology keep the remaining one motivated to do evils.

What a new cheap show and no pictures.

It's fake news, unfortunately.
I heard first time about it a few days ago.
It was report from some unknown news agency that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had to run away from Mosul and that soldiers fro Syrian regular army and Russians arrested him.
Of course, no official  confirmation about it so it's obvious fake news.
He is probably hiding somewhere, to scared to go anywhere.
