This often happens due to the wallet network, the best way is to provide the tx id to us here and we can check, know or probably understand the issue but naturally such problems correct itself in no time.

I transferred $20 into my blockchain account and now it says “may be at risked for a double spend” what do I do?

First check your destination wallet address and confirm that whether you sent amount double time or sent one time alone. If the amount sent double time you can request the receiver and get it back.
Else you will not be able get the money if you lose the fund.

Then if possible please share the transaction ID, henceforth we can check and explain you better.

I think he is talking about transferring $20 in bitcoin to blockchain wallet and he receives "may be at risked for a double spend"

I think the problem comes from another wallet while he is trying to send $20 in bitcoin to blockchain he should post the wallet here so that we know what should he do to fix this error.

I hope that OP can read this so that we can help him to fix the issue.

OP seems got panicked easily, I wonder now if OP had already resolve the issue, perhaps an update about it.

Honestly, don't give it a try to use blockchain.com though I have it on my phone yet I'd still choose electrum over it, maybe because of the issues that I read. So yeah, don't get panic to avoid lttle heart attack.

If I understand your problem correctly I think you can send money without any error. Try doing it now.
The problem is that you sent several transactions in a short time "previous transactions were not confirmed."
Next time you have to wait until 1 confirms.
I also advise you to use Electrum as an alternative to your "blockchain account."

This. It's so so so important that you and everyone new understands this point. The reason why those kind of services are not really improved so much.

Why do it if at the end some wallets exists that are specialized in transactions and user experience? - That is a really good one and you should visit their site right away:

You are right whenever you send a transaction on the blockchain you have to allow for at list 1 confirmation before sending another one to avoid double spending, but in most cases if the transactions have not gone through you can place another in other to have the $20 revised to your wallet but when doing that you have to use high fees so that it goes through before the pending one.

Was not aware of this since I haven't tried sending multiple transactions in a short span of time. Good thing OP experienced this with just a little amount. Since Bunsom said he cannot recover the funds anymore.

I also encountered the same problem with yours mate. I need to be honest with you that you cannot recover it once you already sent and submit the transaction. You should be thankful at least you encounter it with a small amount of 20$ only, because to others its a thousands of dollars dude, so I suggest you to be more careful in it the next time you do the transaction again.

this only happens when the "sender" of these coins has made another transaction that spends the same "coins". since this is blockchain.com account and they are known to have an incomplete and sometimes buggy platform, they categorize a lot of things as "double spend" for example this might have been a RBF fee bump which they don't recognize.

try searching the transaction ID in a couple of block explorers and see if they also give you the same error. if they do, don't trust the sender.
