And no, if you are mining with the bitminter client, you are not earning anything of any significance because it only mines on outdated hardware that cannot generate bitcoin of a meaningful quantity, only 'dust.'

Hello, I need some guidance. I'm brand new to bitcoin mining. I have ordered a large mining rig. However until that comes I am using an Alienware Area 51 to mine.

I am using BitMinter & am curious if I am making any bitcoin. I left the pc on over night and my stats are as shown below:

So I have 3584 proofs of work accepted. What does this mean? Is this enough to earn some bitcoin? Please advise me. Also if it does earn me bitcoin when will I see it in my bitminter account. All help is appreciated.
