I guess that we are part of the mean merit gang giving merit to Veleor for busting copy pasta.

Oh wow Smiley

The OP should call the police, or maybe the FBI and the Interpol, it's clearly an international crime. I'm still not following what all this has to do with the ban appeal though, other than the obvious waste of time.

I have no idea what you mean by that. I sent merits to someone?

To begin with, you should learn to communicate without boorish attitude, and only then indicate  whom and where to go.
I searched manually for my own plagiarism. Yes, the message that the Veleor indicated was read on the Russian resource.
But there is no author. It was necessary to throw off the link to the site to be considered a spammer?

If you don't like my attitude towards bullshitters then perhaps you should consider refraining from bullshitting publicly. You are the one who copied those texts, there is nothing for you to search. You're the one who failed to provide any indication that these are not your words.

So you're taking the "blame other people" route, got it.

Yes, the message that the Veleor indicated was read on the Russian resource.

What do you mean there is no author?  I don't know anything about the website you translated from, but it's obviously not your own work--somebody else wrote it, and you thought no one would notice if you translated something from Russian to English.  Does that about sum it up?  If you're using someone else's words, you have to cite the source.  That's the rule, and if you don't follow it, it's considered plagiarism.

Can we stop jumping through hoops for you now?

Read the rules.

33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.
~ This includes both copying parts or the entirety of other users' posts or threads and copying content from external sources (e.g. other websites) and passing it as your own.

" shitposters like you"... you and I are different.
Then why would you answer me? I am interested in those people who are directly related to the forum. And why do we need moderators, if my question is not relevant to their work? And if a person is banned for no reason? Who helps him? no one?

You've been banned for a reason. I have already answered your query in the other thread. Veleor was kind enough to give you yet another example. Now you're just wasting everyone's time because it's obvious that you know exactly what you've done. Go away.

Then I will wait for a competent moderator / administrator who will show me my plagiarism.

I'm not a moderator but I can show one of your copied texts as an example.

You've copied text from the Russian website, pasted it into Google Translate, and then published this automatic translation without citing the source.

Before you begin to swim in money and fame, you will have to understand the basic exchange concepts and rules of trade. How events will unfold further depends on your perseverance and desire to learn. Often, the decision to become a trader is dictated by the seeming simplicity of this profession and faith in advertising promises. However, many are waiting for not only bitter disappointment, but also significant financial losses. Successful trading is impossible without an understanding of the market, without the ability to conduct technical and fundamental analysis, because the ability of a trader to build a profitable strategy depends on such knowledge. You need to be able to manage capital and create your own trading system, as well as optimize it as necessary.

can you provide me with all my plagiarism?

Absolutely. I can offer you a special discounted rate of 420 USD/h and I reckon it would take ~6 hours of my time + ~120 CPU core-hours (which I would gladly donate) to check your post history. Which escrow do you prefer?
Well, yes ... you have everything connected with money!  And when the conversation begins about bounty hunters, who are they? panhandlers? See, everyone wants a profit...
Then I will wait for a competent moderator / administrator who will show me my plagiarism.

I don't want it at all. You asked - I answered. I don't make any money on this. If anything I donate lots of time and resources to hunt shitposters like you so yeah, I'm exactly like bounty hunters except completely opposite. Roll Eyes

Moderators are not magicians either, they won't be able to review 1000+ posts instantly without any effort and they won't waste their time just because you asked.

I immediately called the reason why I was on this forum! If I do not participate in discussions, but simply read and participate in the bounty, this is not a reason to make a decision for me. Why not introduce a warning system, take into account the number of warnings, and after that - ban? Someone broke the rules many times ... someone stumbled once. Is this really fair? If I received a violation notice after the first violation, I wouldn't like to break the rules anymore! But apparently no one needs it. It's easier to sell an account to someone who was banned ...

If you had posted only bounty reports and hadn't tried to post "real" content (which you plagiarized) - you wouldn't be banned. So quit twisting this pretzel about a harmless bounty hunter.

There are warnings (in the form of deleted posts and temporary bans) for lesser offenses but plagiarism is considered sufficiently egregious for an immediate ban. If you drink and drive you're unlikely to get a warning and continue on your way even if you claim that you didn't know it's a bad thing.

Your insta perma ban makes completly no sense when trying to educate the members

If someone needs to be "educated" to not steal then perhaps we're better off without them.

But you're doing a great job pivoting from bullshit posts about the trust system to bullshit posts about forum rules.

Do you know what wont means ?
Please show me any other forum where plagiarism leads to a perma ban.
Its a wont which majority of these people are not even aware of breaking any rules.

Have you ever tried to ask yourself why there are so many articles online with references?
Even at schools and so many other places, including references is always encouraged. Lol maybe you are from Mars or something

What harm to the forum carries the copied phrase in the topic with the bounty a year and a half ago? What harm to the forum are messages with reports
if they are needed by the rules of bounty campaigns?
The harm is meaningless spam.

I think stark_star means the Twitter and FB reports, which are basically sequestered to the bounty section of the forum--and I don't have any problem whatsoever with whatever gets posted there.  The issue is when the bounty hunters participate in the signature campaign part of a bounty, which means they have to write posts in English.  That's a language that isn't native to most bounty hunters, and the result is shitposting/spam in sections outside of the altcoin bounty section.

As far as the "copied phrase" goes, OP said it himself.  There's no statute of limitations on plagiarism, so if you get caught with an old post you have to take the same consequences as you would had you done the copy/pasting yesterday.

Another fallen brother, I guess there was a wave of bans in bounty threads, my account was also banned without saying the reason and nobody can even find out for what was I banned.
In your case, people are probably getting tired of spending their time looking for examples of plagiarism or spamming or whatever.  We've seen it so many times in Meta where the same "why I get ban?" question gets asked, and then someone wastes their time showing an example, and the response from the banned person is begging/excuses/bargaining/etc.

You're also not supposed to be posting here.

What is the benefit of instantly perma banning an account instead of a 7 or 30 days ban ?
I mean everyone of these bounty hunters will come instantly back with new accounts.
I really don't understand where is the benefit of perma banning someone instantly instead giving a second chance making it clearly with a temp ban that if he won't change it he will get perma banned.
I mean the biggest value a bounty hunter can lose is a good account and when getting perma banned he has nothing to lose anymore.

Your insta perma ban makes completly no sense when trying to educate the members

Autobahn without consideration of the reason is generally not serious, especially given the fact that no one responds to the letters of appeal. Where is the feedback?  Huh
You always see the reason in the ban message.

You have been permanently banned by a forum moderator, probably due to spam or plagiarism.
so there is no need to reply to the appeal emails.

Since my account was banned https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/sandrastark-1080742, and nobody answers the e-mail at the address indicated, I created this account ONLY to find out in the Russian topic where can i will turn. After receiving the answer account will delete.
Since my account was banned, I have distorted the answer for myself and wondered if it was worth writing this appeal at all, because I don’t really want to see angry answers. I read the topics, posts admins, answers from many users. But all I see is a negative attitude towards bounty hunters (especially to Russian speakers) , and those who ask for help and justice. I see a lot of insults and ridicule. And mostly from accounts with high rank.  Yes, the forum has different categories of users. And if a whole bounty section has been created on this forum, I believe that we (bounty - hunters) have the right to express our opinion. It is a pity that no one perceives it or immediately perceives negatively.
I believe that there are other violations on the forum, which turn a blind eye ... For example, sale of merits, accounts ... who sells them and why? Many people know the answers to these questions. But for some reason it is not punished.
Or how does the forum allow bounty managers to publish dozens of bounty projects that, after a small amount of time, turn out to be scammers? Is there no rule by which projects should be checked before being posted on the forum? (I just don`t know). Does the forum need a bad reputation because of fraudulent projects?
Many bounty hunters even know managers who themselves create dozens of fraudulent projects. Why are these managers (which all have multi-accounts) are still on the forum and are not punished. Also, for example, I consider it is not normal and not fair to encourage users ( encourage merits)  who manually search for "cruel" (sarcasm) violators  and inform on such accounts (plagiarism two years ago, etc. (yes, violations have no statute of limitations, but again, this is not very correct))
Autobahn without consideration of the reason is generally not serious, especially given the fact that no one responds to the letters of appeal. Where is the feedback?  Huh
So in the Russian topic I was given an answer (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49090023). And I have a question.
What harm to the forum carries the copied phrase in the topic with the bounty a year and a half ago? What harm to the forum are messages with reports
if they are needed by the rules of bounty campaigns?
It would seem that this may complicate the actions of investors who came to the forum in search of information.
But after all, there are topics on the forum, so that a person immediately knows where to look, and on which topics you shouldn’t waste time.
I don't deny that 80% of my interest in the forum is bounty. In addition, I scoop out other information I need and found here several projects for investment.
I have never had bots / multi-accounts or anything else. I had one account. I honestly received the rank of "full member."  After this merit were introduced and I don't move to the next rank. But it didn't upset me. It saddens me that many in this forum are abused their rights and there is no government. And the same people always appear. Shouldn't we be supported? We bring a considerable percentage of activity, we bring investors, we distribute information about this resource ...
I hope my English is correctly stated ... Cheesy
