I would shoot Theymos a PM if you haven't already. He's generally pretty responsive, and it seems it wasn't your fault you lost access to your account.

If you are banned for a certain activity then I am pretty sure no one is going to listen to you. Although if your account is locked due to some suspicious activity then there is a chance to get unlocked.
Look who's not reading.It seems like signing a message is the best way to go. I suggest to post it here since hilariousandco checks Meta from time to time and can unlock it for you.
