There is absolutely no correlation between reporting and your forum rank. The forum members will report plagiarized content when they spot it, whether it was the same day you posted it or years later. It makes no difference.

Yes, that's not even the point. If there was no "guide" about the dangers of plagiarism, which was written before committing the actual copying of the paste for your post, it would be possible to refer to some ignorance in the rules.
But here everything was done deliberately, as the OP knew that it was impossible to drive the "red light", but he went anyway.
And yes, OP, if you're still here, I don't care about your rank.
I can even assume that there is a second account, but I will refrain for now.

Why should he did not  report Immediately to the admin
It takes almost a month when I am reach the member rank then he reported. I don't know what kind of mindset  he got.

I'll leave this beautiful forum thanks Pmalek

Good. Otherwise, you would be violating another forum rule, which is ban evasion.
I wish I could say it was a pleasure having you here, but it wasn't.

Plagiarism is reported when its noted. Sometimes you get away with it because no one knows that the content is plagiarized but as soon as someone knows about it, it is reported and action is taken on it in the form of Permanent ban.

As far as getting a warning, I'm not sure why you were expecting one or why you wouldn't have read the rules before committing the offense.
By looking at the post lovesmayfamilis wrote, he knew that plagiarizing isn't allowed and shouldn't be done. But weeks after creating a thread in which he talks about how bad it is, he copy-pastes from a few sources in one of his posts. I don't see how the admins will overlook that. But like I said previously, everyone has a right to appeal and he can try it as well.

I am not good in grammar
That's an understatement.

As far as getting a warning, I'm not sure why you were expecting one or why you wouldn't have read the rules before committing the offense.  Nobody, and I mean nobody, gets a warning from the mods for breaking the rules.  They don't have time for that.  If you're caught plagiarizing, spamming, incentivizing members to post in your thread, or whatever else, you just get the consequences--which by now you're no doubt aware of.

And just FYI, you're not permitted to start fresh with another account and you're only allowed to post with your alt in this thread (or in general, a ban appeal thread).  Sorry it didn't work out for you here.

Thanks I'll do my best to convince theymos and other admins to unbanned my account.
You can try your hardest and for as long as you wish to, but since you're a newbie I can tell you with 99.9999% confidence that your appeal is going to fall on deaf ears.  The only members who've ever gotten permabans for plagiarism reversed were those who've been significant contributors to the forum and had committed plagiarism early on in their time on bitcointalk.  None of that applies to you.

The only thing you can do now is try to convince the admins theymos and Cyrus (hilariousandco can also unban people) that the forum will lose a quality member and contributor if you remained banned. That's not an easy thing to do because it requires that you show what you have done so far which warrants that you be given a second chance.

The question you need to ask yourself is how has the forum benefited while I was here and what will it miss if I never returned again?

Thanks I'll do my best to convince theymos and other admins to unbanned my account.

Do you think that theymos , Cyrus  and other admins are too much free that they will listen to you and unban your account ?

If your account had been banned by mistake, then you can give it a try but don't expect them that they will unban a plagiarism.  Cool

Op doesn't have a chance to be given the second chancw to prove himself. I don't think that mods and admin is easy to convince if you don't have nothing to show or prove you are worthy to ve given a second chance.
I know that and I don't think the ban decision will be changed either. I just noted down what is needed to even be considered in the first place. The purpose of my last sentence is for him to understand will the Bitcointalk community miss him and notice he is no longer here considering the contributions he made in the past. If he thinks he will be missed, he is free to back that up with some proof and reasons why.

Nice attitude OP is this the way you treat the newbie
Not bad for legendary. okay I'll leave the forum.
Not quoting properly also explains why getting a second chance to get unbanned is very slim or more like a 0% percent.

The topic title implies that you plagiarized something, is this true? If so, you were warned about plagiarism in the thread you posted: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57040771

As far as i think there is no warning for plagiarized content and it results in direct ban if it is being noticed and reported.

A person who copy paste other's material as his own, would never be honest in any way.  Sad

OP, take a close look at the dates.
You are creating a topic on May 19, 2021, that plagiarism is very bad. Write smart words and blah blah.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57040728

That is, we must understand that you yourself will not do this since you warned everyone about this. Right?

But already on July 2, I come across a post that is not just copied but also compiled from various sources.

What else can you say? This is hardly an unintentional mistake.
Just leave the forum.

There is second chance for good member.

Please read. If you did not read rules of the forum, and did not want to read that topic, you are not deserved to have a second chance.
There's been no policy change. redsn0w wasn't permanently banned due to several factors which made me think that permabanning him would be a net negative for the forum. Nobody is banned strictly because of "the rules"; it's always handled case-by-case, but almost always, plagiarists deserve to be permabanned.

If you think that a ban should be ended, make your case in a new topic from a "good for the forum as a whole" perspective.
I don't think you have good contributions to be given a second chance

Is there's a way to recover my account or not?
I do not see any good reason for your account to be recovered, which means moderators have no reason yet to recover your account, if there is any good reason, it will be recovered for you, but no good reason I think.

Why should moderators did not delete my post and give me a warning. The worst thing is that my account has permanently banned. I thought the first offense is banned about 30 days or 60 days but in my situation it is directly perma banned.
No warning and it is written in some topics

[TIPS] to avoid plagiarism

33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]

  • Plagiarism: If you copy some text from somewhere, then you should have a good reason for it, and you must link to the source. Doing otherwise is plagiarism. Changing a few words around doesn't matter. If we find that you plagiarized, then you absolutely will be permanently banned, even if we find it years after you did it.

This is your profile link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/iphomme-3327132, you need to include your UID

The issue is that your posts were of low quality, are considered as spam as they are actually spam contents, not constructively written. Spamming will result to permanent ban for newbies and many other members.

Hello I am Iphomme: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile  and I have a little bit concern about my banned account.
I'm newbie in the forum and I am not good in grammar and still developing my knowledge about bitcointalk

I post this thread and reported by lovesmyfamilis:
 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/plagiarized-are-not-allowed-5338421

Why should moderators did not delete my post and give me a warning. The worst thing is that my account has permanently banned. I thought the first offense is banned about 30 days or 60 days but in my situation it is directly perma banned.

Can I get some help from any one.
